Hunters are an AMAZING, and I urge everyone in the area to use them if they are after an estate agent. I dealt with Kimberley whilst purchasing my home through Hunters. Kimberley was an incredible help, support and a great wealth of knowledge during the whole process. Buying a house is stressful, but buying a house during lockdown is even more difficult. However, Kimberley was amazing throughout, answering all of our questions, reassuring us, solving problems, and helped speed the process up. She was just at the end of the phone whenever we needed help, and she is also such a lovely lady, which made it a pleasure dealing with her. I cannot recommend Hunters enough, especially Kimberley! Thank you Hunters!

Faye, Robyn and the rest of the team have been fabulous from start to finish. We are so grateful for their support during this time. Faye made herself available to us at weekends and evenings which was so reassuring. Moving house in normal times is a particularly stressful event but even more so during a global pandemic. Faye and her team helped to reduce this stress by communicating throughout the process and keeping us in the loop every step of the way. Thank you for getting us into our lovely new house!

Could not thank Faye, Robyn and the team enough for the the purchase of our new house and the unexpected sale of our previous house. When our sale fell through they went the extra mile ensuring we didn’t lose the house we had put an offer on. Right up until we collected the keys they kept in contact and helped progress an issues with the rest of the chain and conveyancers. They’re a fabulous team who clearly care about their customers.

If we could choose one word to articulate a description of Hunters Sutton Coldfield , it would be definitely ... " WOW ! " Selling your home can be a nervous & worrying time ( It certainly was for us ), especially in current times, but after we spent time researching local estate agents to choose from, coupled with some personal recommendations, Hunters stood out for us based on the ' vibe & values' that were represented and we felt. Our experience was way above any expectation, from the sheer professionalism on every single contact, whether it be phone call, visit or viewing, the team made us feel valued and important to them... not just simply another client. The response was 1st class & impressive ; from initial inquiry to meeting Branch Manager Faye Shaw was within 24hrs, and believe me , I understand the industry to be very busy presently !. Faye was very keen to help us, but focused on making us at ease, feeling comfortable, explaining every detail with concise market intelligence & detail providing us with all we needed to know in a very approachable , non rushed & absolutely no pressure environment - we proceeded with our house sale immediately. We had much communications with the team following this almost straight away, our appreciation to Kimberley, Chowie & the whole team who combined started the ball rolling with an incredible proactive team ethic. Within 2 days, our home was fully marketed & represented ! On the 3rd Day, we had 6 viewings ... on Day 4, we were contacted with the exciting news ( following all the background work ) with a firm Offer at full asking price ! .. like we said... WOW :-) . We couldn't have asked, or expected better service or a result as this... Sold within 1 week !! - We are now experiencing the same level of service with their in house conveyancing team ,which I have no doubt will result in successful & swift conclusion for us. I have written a lengthy heartfelt review, because the team at Hunters so deserve it, and have helped us through a challenging time in every arena Thank you all ... Just go with Hunters... oh... as a bonus, the fee's and sale conditions are more than competitive too ! = WINNERSPositiveResponsiveness, Quality, Professionalism, Value

Very happy with the service provided by Faye and the team at Hunters. Front of house, selling the property, they did great. Behind the scenes, and please do consider this when selecting an agent, they did amazing. No matter who you are or how often you move house it is stressful and things don't always go the way you want them to. Hunters manage the stress and navigate around the changes keeping you informed every step of the way. Great service and worth every penny.PositiveResponsiveness, Quality, Professionalism, Value

Our experience of moving house was more complicated than we first anticipated due to the global pandemic. After originally selling through another estate agent and the sale falling through, we decided to remarket with Hunters due to how helpful and professional they had been in the previous chain. Faye and Kimberley were extremely helpful in selling our previous property and helping us to find our new home. They were highly responsive to all our queries, even if this was on an evening or during weekends. We would highly recommend the team at Hunters to family and friends who are looking to move in the future.

I would highly recommend Kimberley at Hunters to anyone wanting to sell their home. She was pro active, communicative and on the ball throughout the process. It was nice to deal with an estate agent who actively wanted to sell, which can’t be said for other agents, who seem happy to just facilitate viewings and online advertising. Our new property is fantastic and our only regret is that we didn’t appoint Hunters to sell our old property, otherwise we may have completed everything a lot sooner!PositiveResponsiveness, Quality, Professionalism

Buying a house is easy...selling one, well that is a different story, especially when you have reserved a new build so pressure is on! I am glad that we went with Hunters as our estate agents to sell our house, they made the process as easy as it could have been, they were super responsive, very professional at all points of the sale and always kept us up to date regularly. Just want to say a big thank you to Chowie, she was fantastic, to be honest I am sure this sale with these buyers would not have gone through without her efforts - so thank you so much for the time and dedication you showed! Would 100% recommend Hunters to anyone! Also - their house valuation was pretty much spot on, so extremely happy we went with them.PositiveResponsiveness, Quality, Professionalism, Value

The Sutton team were very helpful with my property sale. Keeping me updated with stats of views etc online, calling with updates and also giving me some useful advice on the initial visit to value the property. There was information they offered at this point which the other estate agents only alluded to and they were upfront with their tariffs.

avoid them, they don't care about tenants

Unfortunately, estate agents usually have exclusive rights on properties and if you find a property you really like, you will have to go through them whether you like it or not. It's also likely that you will only see this review when you have already had problems with Hunters, but just in case this helps anyone, here's my recommendation: avoid them entirely, find another property you like if they are managing it exclusively. After I ended my tenancy, they kept me waiting for weeks and weeks without any kind of information. I could've waited to receive the money of the deposit, but I couldn't accept is the complete neglect and lack of updates they put me through. They didn't return calls (when i called they were always busy) and never answered emails. After trying to contact them again and again, they only decided to do something when I said I would take them to the small claims court if necesary, Even with that, they did reply but with lots of nonsensical excuses. After I got my money I found out that the landlord, unlike me, had been in the loop for everything.I wasn't even notified about the meter readings taken on check-out day by the clerk so that I could close my accounts. Why was I treated so differently? Well, simple, they don't care about tenants, only landlords, because they are the ones giving them their cut, not us.Also, the agents were the ones holding my deposit, so the later the better for them. They were clearly not in a rush to return my deposit.Absolutely unprofessional behaviour from a big estate agent that has offices in multiple places. This is a money-making machine with no consideration for tenants.

Nicole Coombes at Hunters estate agents, Middleton; has helped me and my partner (first time buyers and we had no clue about the processes of purchasing a property) she talked and helped us through step by step and made each step clear and understandable. she also did this with such a warm, friendly and professional manner plus she was so patient with me throughout. i would certainly recommend hunters and certainly Nicole Coombes was just fablous with us. we now, thanks to nicole at hunters, moved into out first, soon to be family home

Cooling off period contract disparity…

Cooling off period contract disparity with hunters. We signed up to sell our property then changed our minds over the weekend as we are entitled to do under the 14 day cooling off period. There is a clause in the contract which contradicts this entitlement so be warned if you change your mind. The measure of any company is how they react! In our case, demand for payment and threat of debt collection when no work had been done. Be warned my fellow house moversThe sooner estate agents are regulated, the better for all concerned!!! Faye and the whole team at Hunters Sutton Coldfield went above and beyond to get my flat sold! After losing my first buyer the team wasted no time in getting my property back on the market and resold it within a couple of weeks over the Christmas period! Everyone has been so lovely and done everything they could to get me to exchange and completion in such busy times! Will definitely be recommending to friends and family :) xx

Save yourself the hassle and don’t bother!

Save yourself the hassle and don’t bother. From the moment we met Justin at Hunters, I should’ve sensed that something was wrong. He was full of the miracles he was going to work, how he would sell our house in days, not weeks or months. We fell for his lip service, telling ourselves it was enthusiasm, and listed with them.We thankfully negotiated to not pay the £165 he was asking for up front for “professional” photographs. This was one of our better decisions - the photos were less than ideal. I had to ask Hunters to re-edit them and turn down the saturation as all of the oak wood throughout our home looked bright orange! The photographer was from an external company and was also an arrogant piece of work. After a week or so on the market had passed with zero communication from Hunters, I called them to ask for an update. I was met with very little response and that they were not sure why there had been no interest (remember how I said Justin would sell it in “days, not weeks”...).I let another week pass to the same tune, no communication. I called again and their response was “let’s rejig the order of the photos on Rightmove”. Still nothing, and still no more communication. Our house is in a desirable area and is immaculately presented, so at this point I’m failing to see what the issue is. I’m asking Hunters who also have no idea. However the most worrying part was when I asked what their next steps were... blank. Nothing. No idea.Katy came out to see the house, supposedly so she could speak about it with first-hand experience to interested parties. I explained on her visit that I would like regular communication regarding the plan and next steps. I should point out that in my line of work I have to manage several projects at once and I often have to update stakeholders on progress. If progress is delayed, I am expected to reason out why and think of next steps - this is simply what I was asking Hunters to do.COMMUNICATE.After 5 weeks, we had whispers of a viewing. So I handed over the keys as we weren’t going to be around. I expressly stated that viewers are to either remove their footwear or wear shoe covers upon entering. I reiterated this as it had already been said on four separate occasions to two members of the team.I returned home to boot prints on my carpets. I have white carpets in my bedrooms.I turned on my CCTV which allows me to see into my porch way - no shoes were removed, and no covers applied. Absolute basic request, and disrespectfully not followed.I looked over the rest of the viewing, granted only from the outside of the property and also noticed an incredibly stupid move; When we left before the viewing, we put the bins out at the top of the drive. After collection, some ‘helpful’ individual decided to move the bins more into the drive where they were blocking the pathway down, sat just above some steps and right next to my car.Charlotte from Hunters arrived to do the viewing; She squeezed herself between the bins/car to go open up. She then squeezed herself back through to go wait for the viewer at the top of the drive. They arrive, and they all squeeze themselves past again. WHY NOT MOVE THE BINS?!?! What a brilliant first impression to make! Honestly, basic lack of intelligence shown at this point. After we came home and saw this, I asked for our keys back. Three days later and they’re not posted back through the door. There were whispers of another viewing but by this point I’d absolutely had enough of Hunters lack of professionalism, respect and communication. Basic things that they’re failing on.I terminated the contract (14 days notice negotiated, don’t let them fob you off with more) and went with another agent!Oh - and then they respond to your review to call you a liar. Real smooth.

I cannot speak highly enough of Hunters, they made selling our house as stress-free as possible. They were extremely professional and their communication was excellent from the initial valuation right up until completion. I would particularly like to thank Chowie for going above and beyond and working extremely hard on our sale, we would not have been able to do it without her! I would recommend Hunters above all other estate agents in the area.PositiveResponsiveness, Quality, Professionalism, Value

Useless from day 1.

Useless as an agent. They do not even know their own contracts. As a tenant I was left out to dry. They did not want to know when I had an issue. I was basically told to pay for what I had signed up for. Although the contract I had signed had a get out clause that I was having to quote to them to get them to talk to myself. All via email. Absolutely useless and contact was slow and usually at the end of a working day so as I couldn't get a follow up response till at least the next day or longer. I ended being told to shut up and put up in not so many words. Pay what you owe. Which was never an issue I just wanted out! They struggled to deal with the scenario and even when they did act upon my instructions it was very labored. The manageress was no better than the person in charge of the letting. I had to put her straight a few times and quote her own mistakes. Constant battle to get them to take action with the landlord or reply to myself.after being forced £580 to pay for a service that they had on file was a joke. I asked for the full works if I was having to pay for it. Photos etc. But the refused to come and take them. I'm not saying they robbed me, I'm telling you! I seriously doubt that the landlord was paying that sort of money for that service every time they required a new tenant. Finally after paying a lot of money for a house I never touched they managed to get some other poor soul to rent the property. If you are a landlord. It's not all about the money. Stop being horrible people and make nice house for people to make into homes. If the property you let out is a mess than people will not rent it unless they are desperate like myself at the time. Would you live in it!!???

Sharon is an excellent agent. Hunters Estates Agents got my two properties let out quickly. The agents including Sharon and Kiran always responded swiftly and provided clear information which are really helpful. I also appreciate the online portal Hunters newly introduced for landlords and tenants to share and exchange documents.
