GoogleAs a repeat customer, It is a well organised storage unit, with helpful staff. Any questions or concerns are dealt with on a professional and prompt basic. No detail is left out, giving the customer reassurance, that they are in good hands. So its good to know what Big Yellow storage is still doing, what they do best in providing secure storage, even during these difficult times. I highly recommend Big Yellow Self Storage Birmingham Branch.

GoogleHorrible experience with manager Luke McLaughlin. How someone with no personal skills can be promoted to a manager speaks a lot of this company. I was signing my contract (apparently a little too fast for his liking) then he starts being rude with me. I tell him he needs to calm down and not talk to customers like this, then he tells me to “shut up” I told him he can’t say that, he replies with “I just did” I then told him I would be contacting his head office and he says “he doesn’t care” You can tell this guy is friendless, lonely and miserable, but I blame Big Yellow for putting someone with no social skills in charge of customer relations

GoogleI've dealt with a few members of staff over the last few months and they've all been exceptionally friendly and helpful and more than capable of helping you determine what size is the best option for you, even when you only have a vague idea of what you'll be wanting to store. Just called to downsize my room after removing some large items and the staff are experienced enough to understand how much smaller I can go now and said they'll be there in the day I'm going in to help me sort everything else out.

GoogleDo not setup a direct debit with this branch, as the manager (Luke) is in the habit of raising fictitious invoices and taking unauthorised payments from business accounts. We have just experienced this and raised a complaint from payments he has taken over the last few weeks to be investigated (we are reviewing invoices going back a few years now). This is theft and we are awaiting refunds. Other members of staff are great and always ready to help.

GoogleThis storage is absolutely the best, the guys at Reception are always very supportive and professional. Alan sorted out my room brilliantly and very very nice made me also a cup of coffee, that I extremely appreciated! Also Paul on the phone with me was always very helpful and found always a great solution for me. Those guys are awesome!!

GoogleNice in the press, not nice to struggling customers. Home user for around a year paying £165 a month for a small 75ft ground floor including chepeast insurance. EXPENSIVE. Behind 33 days on locker has resulted in 6 emails demanding payment as fines had been added and access suspended, debt collector type emails within a month lol. Only way to get access was to pay £350 on the spot for 2 months, no discount or partial payment allowed, staff said hands were tied by head office so I decided to cancel the service since there is zero help for customers struggling financially during this time, basically they have you over a barrel if you are struggling. Asked if I could clear locker and make partial payment and pay the rest in a month, nope. £350 due to get access and they refund the days I don't use after I'm gone. Reception team Paul and Luke have always been professional and friendly so no issues there and place is clean and tidy but they get a 1 star instead of 5 after this I'm afraid. I'd hate to think of all the people out there who are a month behind and big yellow sells their stuff. Big yellow offer no help to customers during this time, FACT! Moving over to Self Storage.
