Sadly seems understaffed and…

Sadly seems understaffed and overworked. Property managers are tasked with full-time jobs outside of the office, so emails are left unanswered for weeks, if responded to at all. When visited in person or called, the agent seems apologetic that staff are overworked, and apologized for the poor service. Issues with house such as leaks and electricity faults have taken 9-12 months to resolve. Hopefully management can work to relieve overburdened junior staff which is leading to mistakes in admin and long delays in resolving housing issues for both the tenant and landlord.

I just wanted to share a really positive experience that I had with the Property Management team of the Bicester Branch . The other week, I'd reported both a broken bathroom sink and oven. I was really pleased with how quickly it all got turnaround (effectively within a week of reporting it). I was especially pleased with how quickly Kieran had been able to mobilise the plumber, who called the day after the report was placed and was able to arrange a same day visit. Thankfully, he was able to fix it there and then. Similarly, the technician who came later in the week was able to restore the oven on the first visit as well. Great stuff, thanks guys!

Easiest renting experience I've had in the UK! After spotting a property online I was interested in, I made arrangement for a viewing with Holly from the Bicester office - she met me at the property and walked me through next steps after I expressed my interest. The Finders Keepers team processed my application so quickly and it was totally painless. All the staff I spoke to were helpful and very friendly. I was also really impressed with the key collection process and the detailed inventory, which they offered to scan with updates and photos to the owner. Would happily rent through them again in the future and seek advice on buying as well!

We acquired our rental property four years ago and it has been managed by the staff at the FK Bicester branch since day one. We have always been very pleased with the service they have given to us. We appreciate the help, advice and guidance that they give us regarding the property and tenancy. Someone is always available to speak to on the telephone and emails are dealt with quickly. Very bad experience, here resumed: We have been served from Karolyn. She did a good job with showing us the property, that's about it. We chose the property, paid first week on deposit to take it away from the market, open the negotiation to landlord and start referencing. After about one month from the start, she tells us I have a CCJ under my name, I didn't know anything, so I call the court, which confirms it has been paid 2 years ago but, for some reason, they didn't close the CCJ straight away. I explained the situation to the agent who seems to understand, while she propose to pay 12 months altogether. Initially we said to not consider it as a solution due to the fact that the CCJ did not even have reason to exist since the balance we paid 2 years back, it was a situation to be fixes asap, but after founding out that my credit score was already impacted unjustly from it, we proposed to pay in advance ourselves, first 8 + 4 months, eventually 12 months as she proposed in the beginning. Meanwhile, the property has been put on back the market, the agent was impossible to chase, I had to spam calls, emails and leave unanswered voicemails to have updates. She as never been honest even if I kindly encouraged her to be, saying that if for any reason they do not want specifically to rent to us, she can tell, so we do not waste our time, since we gave notice to our current agency, because we even started to sign a tenancy agreement. All this was irrelevant, the agent pretended she was still working for us when in reality she was only stalling, saying the landlord, who lives abroad, is hard to get in touch with (2 weeks!). We then proposed, when we were lucky enough to be answered, to view other property, to make offers to another property already viewed: she said after a week and an half that the other landlord will probably not accept 12 months in advance and that she still needs to call him, and regarding the other viewings she just said she needs to speak to the landlords first (something that will require how long? Nobody knows). In the end, when it was clear we were not wanted as tenants for some mysterious reason (nationality maybe?) and the lack of professionalism from the agency, we asked for a refund of the money payed previously. Her email this time was fast: no refund because we have given "false or misleading" information regarding the ability to go past the referencing stage. I am still trying to call her, she is ghosting us like always, even if 5 minutes before the email of the refund she answered. In conclusion, we thought we were treating with a professional agency, when in reality they have only taken away from us 250 pound which will not refund, they make us lose important time, misleading us and not being honest. They prefer to ghost people, send email once in a while, never answer the prone and stall until the last moment. Terrible agency, missing adult behavior and non existent honesty or professionalism. Finders Keepers are great! Finders keepers are an excellent letting agency. The moving in and letting process was very smooth and the checking out process was even better. The letting agent, Eleanor (Bicester) was so incredibly helpful and attentive.
