I would go as far to say this is THE WORST BUSINESS I HAVE EVER DEALT WITH. I knew from the offset this wasn't going to be a positive experience, but with Duncan and his usual sales pitch and promising the world his words "I promise we will do a good job for you" was a complete and utter lie. Starting with the photography (some of my rooms were even missed) the wrong selection of photos were uploaded to Rightmove which took 5 communications both written and by phone for them to get it right. From having random people turn up to my door saying they had tried for weeks to get a viewing appointment but the office failed to return their calls. 99% of the viewers who attended were not given the home report. I even got 5 friends of mine to request a copy of my home report as a test and as expected none of them received this nor got any follow up call regarding their enquiry. When you have the staff on the phone crying to you how bad the office is and how unprofessional they operate then its a bad day. From employing school leavers who are left to manage your property, to the high staff turnover to their ignoring prospective buyers. I emailed Duncan with my complaints after things continued to go wrong, with all emails being sent with a "read receipt" for him to never once reply or deal with any of the serious issues. I sold my house myself via someone on facebook who was enquiring about houses on my estate. Several months later they are still sending buyers to my old door, un-announced when the ship has long since sailed. This is how on the ball this cowboy outfit is. I am always in shock as to their signs popping and I question the authenticity of such advertising based on their ratio of boards v's listings on rightmove/their website. THIS IS A BUSINESS I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND TO ANYONE WHO IS LOOKING TO SELL, THEIR EXPERIENCE FROM A BUYERS PROSPECTIVE IS ALSO JUST AS SHOCKING. There are so many other horrendous parts to this story of their failings and stress caused and I will never let them near another property of mine, my families or friends. The fact that they gave my personal details out to someone was a breach of Data Protection and today I have started the formal official complaints procedure as this is illegal

PLEASE DO NOT USE THIS AGENCY. KIRKINTILLOCH BRANCHI have had nothing but complaints since this company signed me up to sell my home. They have done absolutely nothing to sell, they wait on phones ringing and offers going in, they ignore your calls/texts. I called from the coffee shop across to speak with my negotiator and I saw her tell her colleague to say that she was busy......they fail to communicate on a regular basis and on occasions it has been impossible to get an answer on telephone. I have made several complaints and assured that things would change but this was not the case. I have not heard from them in months and as the contract is now due to expire I will be looking elsewhere. Also, they will still charge £1000+ when they dont sell your home. GO ELSEWHERE ...I am sure that this review will be removed shortly after posting

This isn’t my first interaction with Town and Country, it’s actually my third! I bought my own home through them a number of years ago and then recommended them to a family member who was looking to sell their own home. Now it’s my turn to sell so calling on Town and Country to help was an easy decision! On each occasion I’ve found Town and Country to be very professional and efficient. From the first meeting with Duncan through to completing the sale, the whole team were supportive and incredibly friendly. I was kept in the loop with information and if I had a question at any point, they came back quickly with an answer which was much appreciated. At no stage was I left wanting a response and no query was too small.For anyone selling/buying a home, communication with your estate agent is important, but so too is feeling as though your interests and needs are being met. I felt this with Town and Country; they listened, supported and guided me along the way and helped me achieve my sale. I would have no hesitation in recommending Town and Country, outstanding from start to finish - thank you!

Very unprofessional. I’m relocating from overseas and contacted this agent regarding a viewing for a property and was told there was no available slots at the weekend due to the viewing agents carrying out all viewings and being fully booked. I was then contacted later that day and offered an early morning appointment which I accepted. I then received an email a few hours later cancelling the appointment and giving the reason the seller couldn’t make the house available to the estate agents. I was then offered an appointment the following day with the owner after the estate agent telling me it was not being shown by the owner. By this time I had made other viewing appointments and I emailed them to discuss but never got a response. Tried phoning a few times and it rang out consistently. Wouldn’t recommend to arrange a viewing and certainly not if I was selling.
