From the first contact with Barons, we had a warm, friendly reception. Every person we have dealt with be that face to face or on the phone, has been pleasant and approachable. There has never been pressure on us from Barons at any point. We must give a special thanks to Charlie who we have predominately dealt with, as he has been an absolute gem. From our viewings, to our weekly or daily telephone conversations, nothing has ever been too much trouble for Charlie. He has explained and guided us through this whole process and made the situation bearable. I think in the situation of buying a house, which can be very stressful, it's been nice to have a cheery, friendly person like Charlie, on the end of the phone to ease the pressure and provide you reassurance. I'll miss our update telephone calls! Thank you Charlie and Barons for helping us buy our first home :)

Excellent service.

I have sold my property with Barons and they have been amazing. From the initial contact in arranging a valuation to completion on the property. Trevor was a Godsend. Trevor was friendly and very informative without putting any pressure on me to go with Barons. He took his time in answering my questions and was available to answer my other questions after the valuation. He eased my anxiety with the whole selling process. The service from Barons was second to none. They are completely different to the other estate agents in the area. All the staff are friendly and approachable (while still being professional) at all times- on the phone and in person. Charlie was also fantastic. He kept me up to date with the progress. Nothing was too much and he explained everything very clearly. I had complete confidence in the team. If I ever need an estate agent again I will not hesitate in using Barons. They are fantastic. Excellent. Best in Basingstoke.

I have never had good things to say about estate agents in Basingstoke, until we came across Barons estate agents. Over the years we've bought and sold 3 houses. I think I can safely say, we've had dealings with pretty much every estate agent in Basingstoke, with trying to get appointments for viewings, as well as selling our houses. In the past, I've struggled to get appointments to view houses, with estate agents not getting back to me, not interested in the slightest. Turning up for the viewing, only to have the estate agent not turn up. Estate agents not bringing the keys.... Estate agents not knowing anything about the house. Vendors answering the door, not knowing we were coming etc.. When selling our houses, we found these other estate agents, were always standing up for the buyer, not you, the person selling. I feel that was simply because they want the sale to go through asap, so they get their money quicker. Rather than understanding the position you're in. Those estate agents include; property explorer, Connells, romans, Anthony Hamilton, McCarthy Holden, White and Russel. Avoid at all costs. Barons, were exceptional. Kevin runs a great team! You know exactly what's going on at every point of your sale and purchase. Weekly catch up calls, fighting your corner when needed. Text message reminders for viewings. Just an around seamless service you don't mind paying for. I don't believe I would of got the price I did for my house, if it wasn't for Barons. I would of probably had half the viewings to start with, if we went with a different agent. Thanks Charlie, Patrick, Trevor and Kevin.

Real personal touch with a team that strive to give you the best service

From the first contact to the point that we purchased, I was really impressed with the team at Barons. At every stage when they said they would call me, they did. They kept me up to date with progress and always welcomed my calls, and gave me extra information when needed to help me understand the process. When things stalled, the tenacious Trevor got involved and worked so hard to make sure things were resolved. I could not have asked for better service, and will certainly use Barons again when we sell our home in the future. Highly recommended.

I have now both bought and sold through Barons, and I would thoroughly recommend them. Our chain fell apart while I was in hospital following the early birth of our baby and Barons took in upon themselves to keep their foot to the metal, find us a new buyer and keep things moving forward when we were not able to do much to chase things up ourselves. Charlie has been great to deal with, proactively chasing things up for us and keeping us in the loop at all times. Trevor was an absolute star on exchange day, and I couldn't have asked for better service. If you need a great estate agent in Basingstoke, go with Barons. Trust me, I've tried others and they don't compare.

Best estate agent I've worked with, bar none

Rightly or wrongly, estate agents have a reputation for being profit-obsessed wheeler-dealers who have no basic instinct for customer care. By contrast, Barons are the best estate agents I have ever worked with. Having experienced nightmare situations in the private rental sector, it was so refreshing to work with agents who were honest, professional and replete with bags of enthusiasm. As a first-time buyer, I was understandably anxious about the progress of the purchase, but Barons went the extra mile again and again to get it over the line. Trevor and Charlie in particular were absolutely outstanding. I cannot recommend these guys highly enough.

Highly recommended

We bought our house through Barons, and were very impressed with the after-sales service. As such, when it was time to move on, it was an easy choice to use Barons to handle our sale. Everybody was very friendly and professional, and they were always easy to get hold of on the phone. The jewel in their crown however was Trevor who looks after the after sale part progressing to completion. He was tireless in his efforts in chasing down all other parties in our long (9 people!) chain. I don't doubt that if it was left to the other agents (particularly the online ones) in the chain, that we'd still be waiting to move! All in all, I wouldn't hesitate to use again.

Great estate agent and would highly recommend

We used Barons estate agent after our initial agent messed us about and was unable to sell our property. Trevor went above our expectations to ensure that we sold our house for the full asking price and also stayed on top of the process even answering questions in the evening and at weekends. They even found our new home so we were lucky that they were able to deal with the whole transaction from start to finish. We would most definitely use Barons again for our next sale.

The only Estate Agent in Basingstoke to use for Buying & Selling Property

I have used Barons to sell all the homes I have owned since they set up in Basingstoke. This time was no different, except that my needs for my next house had very exacting requirements. While other estate agents wrote me off as a 'time-waster', Barons followed up on every property that could fit my needs. This process took 2 years during which time the sale of my property fell through as I was unable to find a property to buy and 4 potential house purchases fell through (none through any fault of mine). Barons supported me throughout this entire process: finally finding me the house I would end up buying. They then intervened when problems surfaced with that purchase and I ended up renting before the purchase could be completed. My very grateful thanks to Trevor Lee for his tenacity throughout the 2 years; we had weekly calls on the progress of the house purchase which finally completed on April 7th 2017. Thank you to all the team at Barons for putting up with me for the past 2+ years.

The only Estate Agent I will ever use!!

Ok, so Estate Agents generally have a bad image - I have found this and been upset, duped and generally disappointed with the whole buying / selling of properties. We bought a property with Trevor at Baron's and I can safely say it was the most easy and stress free process possible. From day 1 the viewing of the property was arranged swiftly with one of the chaps on Trevor's team and he was knowledgeable and knew all the answers of the questions we threw at him (Not - I don't know and will come back to you!) All the team in Baron's were helpful, honest and extremely reliable. We had updates on the process of buying the property regularly, were were fully informed and the whole process was a breeze. Outstanding Sales and Support

Due to the complexities attached to our property, without Trevor Lee at Barons, I truly believe that the sale of our house would not have progressed to completion. If there was an obstacle in our way then Trevor found the answer. Without his tenacity I think we would have given up. Certainly if we had used an internet estate agents we would most definitely not have progressed to a completion. The support that he provided through very testing times was second to none. The service that Barons Estate Agents gave us was really excellent from beginning to end. Matt gave us a very realistic evaluation of our property, unlike some other estate agents that in order to gain you as clients exaggerate the value. Matt also took magnificent pictures of our home that helped in getting the interest of many people. Kevin and Charlie did a brilliant job at the open day looking after our house and the house was sold on the day. Trevor jumped through hoops to make exchange and completion happen. Professional Service

Couldnt have asked for better

We spoke to various agents when we decided to sell our flat. Each of them visited our home and spoke about their services. We decided to go with Barons as we felt there was no hard sell and no pushiness and what they promised was good old fashioned customer service. And this is what we got. Fast sale and great teamwork

Barons impressed us from the start. Trevor was so much more amiable than others that quoted for the work and I felt that he and the team would do what they said. They did. They rolled into action very fast. Our home was on the market in a matter of days and sold (above the asking price) also in a matter of days. Once "sold" though Barons didn't stop. They kept in contact with all those in the chain and made sure we were well informed. One thing I liked was that I could talk to any of the team and they knew what was what. There was none of the, "I'll get him to ring you back," that you might get elsewhere. All of the team were polite, smartly turned out, and well informed. They helped make our move very smooth and I'd use them again very happily.
