Faultless from start to finish

From start to finish, Barons Estate Agents have been absolutely wonderful! At every point in our transaction, they have been professional, helpful, polite and friendly. Their customer service is absolutely second to none. It’s so refreshing to deal with a company who clearly put emphasis on good communication - they respond to emails quickly, they will call you back when they say they will, they even provided us with regular updates about the purchase off their own back so we were continuously informed. Absolute nothing was too much trouble, from regularly chasing up solicitors to helping with any questions, we really feel like we can rely on Barons. We had a particular situation with our purchase that nearly scared us away, however Barons went out of their way to do everything they could to help with this, including setting up a face to face meeting between the property owner and ourselves and attending the meeting themselves too. I’m paraphrasing, but one of my conversations with Charlie was “Obviously we do this job to be paid, but we truly want you to love the house you buy and it’s our job to make sure that everything is right for you” I’m left on no doubt that this wasn’t just words, it’s very clear from our experience with Barons that they really do, and will do, everything they can to make your experience a great one. Well done and thank you to Charlie in particular, and to Patrick and the rest of the team who have helped - you have been a massive part of making our dream come true.

Couldn't recommend Barons more highly! Fantastic first time buying experience.

From the moment we stepped into their offices to the moment we picked up the keys to our first property a few months later, Patrick and the rest of the Barons team were nothing but faultless. As first time buyers we were naturally nervous about the whole process but they made everything as easy as possible. They were approachable, friendly and easily contactable the whole time, nothing was too much trouble. We never felt rushed or pressured into making decisions and it genuinely felt like they were on our side throughout the whole process and supported us throughout the negotiations. The stereotypical pushy estate agent image we had in our heads, and expected, going into this process couldn't have been further from the truth. I wouldn't hesitate to go back to Barons again in the future. 10/10 experience!

From the first contact with Barons, we had a warm, friendly reception. Every person we have dealt with be that face to face or on the phone, has been pleasant and approachable. There has never been pressure on us from Barons at any point. We must give a special thanks to Charlie who we have predominately dealt with, as he has been an absolute gem. From our viewings, to our weekly or daily telephone conversations, nothing has ever been too much trouble for Charlie. He has explained and guided us through this whole process and made the situation bearable. I think in the situation of buying a house, which can be very stressful, it's been nice to have a cheery, friendly person like Charlie, on the end of the phone to ease the pressure and provide you reassurance. I'll miss our update telephone calls! Thank you Charlie and Barons for helping us buy our first home :)

Real personal touch with a team that strive to give you the best service

From the first contact to the point that we purchased, I was really impressed with the team at Barons. At every stage when they said they would call me, they did. They kept me up to date with progress and always welcomed my calls, and gave me extra information when needed to help me understand the process. When things stalled, the tenacious Trevor got involved and worked so hard to make sure things were resolved. Best estate agent I've worked with, bar none

Rightly or wrongly, estate agents have a reputation for being profit-obsessed wheeler-dealers who have no basic instinct for customer care. By contrast, Barons are the best estate agents I have ever worked with. Having experienced nightmare situations in the private rental sector, it was so refreshing to work with agents who were honest, professional and replete with bags of enthusiasm. As a first-time buyer, I was understandably anxious about the progress of the purchase, but Barons went the extra mile again and again to get it over the line. Trevor and Charlie in particular were absolutely outstanding. I cannot recommend these guys highly enough.

The only Estate Agent I will ever use!!

Ok, so Estate Agents generally have a bad image - I have found this and been upset, duped and generally disappointed with the whole buying / selling of properties. We bought a property with Trevor at Baron's and I can safely say it was the most easy and stress free process possible. From day 1 the viewing of the property was arranged swiftly with one of the chaps on Trevor's team and he was knowledgeable and knew all the answers of the questions we threw at him (Not - I don't know and will come back to you!) All the team in Baron's were helpful, honest and extremely reliable. We had updates on the process of buying the property regularly, were were fully informed and the whole process was a breeze. FIrst time buyer purchase review

I was more than happy with the service Barons provided. As a first time buyer I was unsure of all the different steps that I needed to take throughout the process but each time I called with a question, any member of the team were happy to help and always put my mind at rest. Honest & Professional.

Of all the estate agents we met with viewing properties these guys were top of the class. They knew the property they were selling, they knew the attributes, they invested the time in finding out what we were truly looking for and delivered nothing but absolute excellence. Fantastic Service

Just completed on the purchase of a btl property through Barons Estate Agents. Service was fantastic every step of the way, but two things in particular: 1. Whenever I rang I was dealt with by knowledgeable, helpful staff 2. The Barons team kept me updated and chased for answers when necessary Thank you for all your help. Having an estate agents like Barons that knows the area and who you can go to to discuss things is essential, in my opinion. Trying to buy a house using an internet based agent without these qualities makes for added and unnecessary stress for a buyer.

Barons were outstanding in their service in assisting me to purchase my property from start to finish. Property hunting, let alone buying is renowned for being stressful, but Barons made every effort to ensure that the process was stress free and they accomdated for all my needs. The team is welcoming, apporachable and hard working for each of their clients and I felt happy to go to them with any queriy no matter how small, or insignifcant it seemed. Being a first time buyer too, they guided me through the process, explaining each step as it came and regulalry updated me without the need for a prompt. Customer service is dead

Customer service is dead We had viewing booked with this estate agent on the 01/03 and due to unforeseen circumstances we were unable to attend, fair enough we were not able to advice the Estate agent in advance due to the issues that arise, that culminated with us not attending the appointment. As a result of not attending yesterday's viewing, the Estate agent as cancelled all the viewings we had with them including two during the weekend. The customer service and responses from this estate agent were appalling either on the phone when we called in to say we would not be able to attend the viewing. The rating is 1 star because 0 is not a rating as this would be the score this estate agent would receive and all this "excellent customer Service" was done by one of the company's Directors.

Five star service with purchase

We recently purchased our new home via Barons in Basingstoke and cannot recommend them enough. From the initial enquiry, through to the sales process all the staff were pleasant to deal with and extremely professional. We did not feel pressurised and viewings were arranged for when it was convenient for us. Throughout the purchase we found they provided a first class service and when there were issues with the solicitors they were quick to assist and resolve these. To sum up we would happily use Barons again and definitely recommend them to anyone looking for a quality service in either selling or purchasing a property.
