Joe and the team at the Barkingside branch have been excellent during what was a long and stressful process. They carried us through all the way to the end and got us over every hurdle and even liased with the Wanstead branch to also help with our sale! We would like to say a special thank you to Kalish who went above and beyond the call of duty throughout the process and on the day of the move! Our general experience with douglas allen from start to finish has been unbelievable.The staff attitude towards the sale was second to none! we felt comfortable with their knowledge and experience throughout. In particular Zik Ikeh sold our property with ease it seemed! We were amazed by the amount of potential buyers at our door. Outstanding, Thank YouWhile out viewing properties with Chadwell Heath office I met Michal Aloto at the open house, he discussed my situation and I had just put my property on the market with an online agent. After a couple of months I accepted an offer and when Michael was discussing new properties for me to buy said he thought the offer was low, he felt that he had buyers ready who could view my house and as it’s no sale no fee I agreed for him to come round. The first open house was a success and I got the offer £15,000 more. I had more viewers in one day than I’d had for past two months. This brilliant service didn’t stop, every time I’ve called the office the staff are all very helpful, Michelle took time to explain and help me understand what happens next. Thank you Michael and Michelle I would highly recommend.

When I first started to look for a property, I had no idea how the whole process works. The team at Basildon, specifically Abbie, were fantastic. They were very welcoming and understanding to my situation, going through various properties and the fees in a clear manner.Before and after a viewing, I was kept updated on the situation in a quick and timely manner. Even when there was a couple of problems with my guarantors, Abbie went out of her way to try and accommodate me and find a solution that suited me.The whole process went smoothly and the team were very friendly every time I went into the branch. Agents putting the phone down on cutomers

A few people warned me that DA in Ilford were known for hanging up the phone on customers. Despite this, I decided to give them a go and over the year I have seen a few properties on RightMove that I have liked and when I have phoned DA, on a few occasions I have managed to say hi before they hang up the phone. I'm sure they just pick up the phone for their stats. Not a great way to run a business when your employees are completely unreliable!

Chloe and Abbie have been excellent in guiding us through the letting of mum's house. From the start Chloe was so professional we cancelled other agents and went with DAS. She sold the company really well, and answered every question we had thoroughly. Abbie took over for the viewing and letting phase and also kept us up to date with all that was going on. The ouse has now been let and we can keep ourselves up to date using the online system, which is good for us as we live in France. Top service so far, well done everyone!

Estate agents, like double glazing salesmen and traffic wardens generally have a hard time of things from the public. But I can genuinely say that the team at DAS in Billericay have been absolutely fantastic for me in initially surveying my property, taking it to market, finding a good buyer and then seeing things through to completion. They will phone you back when they say they will, they will keep you updated with the progression and I really feel they work very hard for you. Quick proactive sale!

We live in a rare build house and needed the expertise of a local agent. Other local agents cap the value of these houses but Matthew (manager) at the Epping Branch used his knowledge of our area and the market to value the house very well - beyond what we expected but realistic!His confidence wasn't false - many viewings were booked before the property was on Rightmove and we even got an offer exceeding the asking price before it was online! This was due to the proactive marketing of the property to their registered potential buyers. The team at Epping were very helpful, even taking care of the dog when they had viewings during work days! Matthew has kept a personal touch to the process and has kept to his word on everything. I would recommend his service highly!

The Walthamstow branch was recommended to me by a friend.I was told that they were very friendly,helpful & trustworthy.Totally true! Maria..i can't remember her surname but let's call her Maria Godsend,came to our home for a valuation.Both my wife and i were feeling anxious but Maria managed,very quickly,to get us to relax and leave it all in her very capable hands.She gave us a good price.We were regularly updated on all developments regarding our sale via Emails,phone calls etc and so allowed us to be stress free.I also spoke to Ben (who i've never met ) over the phone and he made me feel so confident for him,as a stranger, to have the keys to my home in order to show other complete strangers around.Everything was fine on my return.Due to the respect that we and our property were shown ,i would recommend the Walthamstow branch to everyone who wants to buy and sell.Go straight in and speak to Maria and she and Ben and other members of staff will do the rest for you!!

Will from the Fine and country department took great care of us

The service provided by Will from Fine and Country Department was second to none. We used several estate agents during our search for our new home and once we found what we wanted we were lucky to have Will, who gave us an absolutely great service. Will took care of us, specially, during the final stages of exchange and completion and helped to smooth out any challenges we had. Will went beyond his call of duty. Will showed total professionalism. Will is very friendly, approachable, reliable and showed lot of enthusiasm. We requested several viewings for the same property and every time Will had honoured our request and was very accommodating to our needs. So bad.... do not use

So bad. Charged a fee for poor photos and had to complain to have them corrected. Property sold within a few weeks to people unsold and no advice given on how to handle. Not proactive in any way and they waited for people to call them (both us and people who offered on our the property). Ended up not selling property as the whole experience was so bad and we couldn't face paying their fee which was a premium to other agents. Cannot recommend any less. Avoid at all costs. Have worked with a few estate agents in the past and these are by far the worst I have encountered. They give you the attention you need only until they have you on their books. Will be complaining to the Ombudsman in due course. Matthew was particularly disappointing. His initial motivation was the sole reason we signed up, but he soon passed over our property to "his team". After this we had no point of contact, no one took ownership and if we didn't call for updates nothing was forthcoming. If I could give no stars I would.

I am a first time buyer and wanted to get a better understanding of how far my money could stretch as well as the area. Khaleesha has been amazing since she first took my call. With not much knowledge on how to go about purchasing my first  property, she truly went the extra mile to really make me at ease on the process. She was so well versed with the area and was able to quickly advise the types of options I could consider. She was an absolute delight to deal with - warm, friendly and really patient with my endless questions! Before contacting her, I had no idea what I wanted but I think having spoken to her and her suggestions, I feel nearer to finding what and have really fallen in love with the area. I will definitely progress my search with Khaleesha as I am really comfortable with her approach compared to the other agents I have been in touch with. Chingford branch,I made the mistake of going with a online agent who seem to take my money upfront and couldn’t care less after that. James came to see me and I knew he was the right person for the job. After 3 weeks lots of viewings and several offers he secured me a great price and the best thing is they are also refunding what I payed purple bricks. So it’s a win win situation for me. Dealt with the Ilford Branch - In particular Amer, Jack, Nabz ,John and Tanya.I must say they were very encouraging and helpful it is always difficult as a first time buyer because you just don’t know what to expect simply because it is not something you have done before. However they dealt with me with the upmost professionalism and were very polite and encouraging even when I was confused or felt like I was asking silly questions.They really set the bar high and stood out for other agents and believe it or not I brought my property through them because they were the most responsive and easiest to deal with. It is stressful enough as it is to buy a house and last thing you want to do is deal with an agent that just isn’t cutting it with the service. So to be honest if you are looking to buy or sell I definitely recommend you use these guys. They are welcoming professional & polite - they are everything an agency should be if you are selling you need staff like this who are efficient and effective to sell your property not like the other High Street agents who just don’t cut it whether it be due to their focus or customer service skills. All round great experience really exceeded expectations , stood out from all other agents I dealt with probably looked at 80 properties and put offers on Atleast 10 but no one stood out like these guys and rightly so I made my purchase through them. Great work from the Ilford Cranbrook Rd Branch!
