Bear Estate Agents Basildon reviews

I first met Jack Manning when I arranged to view a property last year, sadly I wasn’t successful that time. However, I was impressed by how professional and helpful Jack had been; he also introduced me to the Mortgage Library and with the help of Mollie, I managed to secure a much better mortgage offer. Fast forward to 2022, I am now settled in my amazing new home after selling my previous home with the help of the equally very professional yet friendly Scott Borkett from the Hockley office. Special thanks also to Sydney and Roman who also helped to ensure all kept on track and went smoothly. Thank you Team Bear 🐻 💗!

We were looking to buy a property in…

We were looking to buy a property in the Rayleigh area and contacted bear as a lot of properties in Rayleigh were listed under them. We live in Woking and so it is a 2-2.5 hours journey for us to get to Rayleigh. Bear cancelled our appointment last minute citing that the vendor had already accepted an offer! This was a working day for us and we had made quite a few arrangements to get to the viewing - getting to Rayleigh early morning and booking a hotel to work in until the appointment time etc., spent nearly £200 and 5 hours total journey to and fro. Would have appreciated if they could have informed us in advance if the cancellation rather than waiting until the last minute! Over-promise and under-deliver. Not professional and I don't think we'll ever book a viewing with them again.Unless you live in the Rayleigh / Hockley area and wouldn't mind last minute changes and empty promises, avoid this estate agent.

Would recommend Bear Estate Agents. My first move in nearly 20 years and Sydney was a life saver for me. Always at the end of the phone or email to support me if I had concerns or questions. With such a friendly, professional manner, Sydney was always extremely helpful to guide me through selling my home.

Thank you Scott & the team at hockley & Southend for selling one of our flats. We moved over to bear after another agent failing to produce hardly any viewings after a slow 3 months on the market, we had lost hope we would achieve the price we wanted. Bear took the property on and we had sold within a month. The communication was great and We always felt like Scott looked after our best interests & made sure we achieved the price we wanted. Roman Was brilliant when I met him at the viewing and always went out of his way to get here any time. It’s the easiest sale we have ever had, the sales progression team are amazing. Sydney was always updating me and chasing solicitors so we didn’t have to. Highly recommend! We wont be using any other agent. Thank you!

I used bear to sell my flat after a period with another agent. After only a few viewings with the old agent, Bear arranged a viewing the day after it went on the market and that ended up being our buyer!

From the moment Ellis came around I knew I had chosen the right Estate Agents. My property was up and sold within 9 days and I had an offer accepted on another of Bears properties. Zoe took over and was on top of everything from the very beginning up until I received my keys. I was never left in the lurch and was regularly updated along the way. I was really impressed with the professionalism I received, a real please to work with. I would highly recommend if you’re thinking of selling or buying a new property. It was a pleasure. Thanks, Ben

After 3 years of searching we finally found the bungalow we were looking for and contacted Bears to sell our house. They advertised our house, arranged multiple viewing on a single day and we sold our house in less than a week. They negotiated with our sellers and we bought our new house the every next day. Throughout the moving process Helen at Bears kept us up to date with the documentation progress of all the parties right up to the day of completion. We were very pleased with all the help we received and would highly recommend Bears to sell your home.

Honest and professional

Honest, friendly and professional service. Introduced many perspective buyers which another local agent failed to do. Tilly in the progression team was outstanding when dealing with a very difficult buyer. We would definitely recommend Bear Estate agents.

I would definitely recommend Bear estate agents. They were very professional and communicated regularly throughout my purchase. Ellie, especially, who was my progress contact. She kept me up-to-date with where everyone was with the progress of their sales, through the chain, and helped to push through the sale to exchange before the stamp duty relief ended, which was pretty nail biting. Also, Helen, who I spoke to while Ellie was away, was extremely helpful and reassuring in getting my purchase through.

I highly recommend Bear Estate Agents. They found me a buyer almost immediately (in fact they found me four buyers) and although I had a sitting tenant to wait to conclude they kept me informed throughout. We exchanged and completed today and I am over the moon. Special thanks to Jack who didn't pressurise me into selling with them, the right amount of personal charm, professionalism, expertise and knowledge was the wining formula. and thanks to Helen who dealt with the ongoing comms. Both were so helpful throughout. I'm over the moon. Thank you to all the team. I know these things are always a joint effort. Sian

We bought our first home through Bear and got a great vibe from them. They were efficient and always so helpful. When it came to us selling up 4 years later we knew we wanted bear to sell our home! They sold our house within 24 hours of it going up for sale, before it even hit right move for full asking price 🤩 From the valuation right the way through to completion bear were fabulous. We were kept informed along the way and couldn’t have asked for a better service! All for such reasonable fees too! Huge thank you to Kyle, Sydney and the whole team at bear! 💗🐻

Everyone needs a Helen!

If every estate agents had a Helen working from them (and let’s get one in all of the solicitors whilst we’re at it) then the world of moving would be a much simpler process.

We have just used Bear estate agent to sell our house and they have honestly been AMAZING. Kyle was so friendly and informative and came to take the photos of our house which looked brilliant and within 24 hours it was on the market. All of the team at bear were so polite and friendly booking in the viewings and our house sold very soon after! Helen has been fantastic and is a credit to Bear estate agents, she was our sales progressor and did everything she could to ensure things were chased and we were kept updated! Megan and Sydney were always so friendly on the phone too and always helped me where they could. They have brilliant customer service and a brilliant rate too! I honestly wouldn’t go anywhere else to sell my house - thank you bear estate agents! You all do an amazing job 👏🏻.
