Great Service - I am a local businessman so busy with my own business. Kyran the branch manager at East Grinstead has handled the purchase of a 5 bedroom house for me very professionally making the process very straight Forward. I would thoroughly recommend the branch. The Financial Advice was also very helpful with great advice and did all the work - service i would expect from my own team -very satisfied to date.

Awful customer service! During my remortgage they never answered phonecalls nor responded to emails and they promised they'd pass the message onto the mortgage advisor time & time again, but nothing ever happened. After complaining about my mortgage advisor Ralph Wilkinson things only improved slightly as he still continued to ignore all my phonecalls but would just send a vague email in response. This was an incredibly stressful experience and I would say definitely avoid!

Bed bug infestation untreated. I moved 3 months ago and from day 1 I reported we have a bed bug infestation and they have dodged responsibility for the last 3 months. They pass the emails from one side to the other and blame the tenants for their behavior. The place was furnished, but the fridge was broken, the washing machine is still broken after 3 months, the hob was broken and the place was overall in unlivable condition, despite the checklist report saying everything was fine. We trusted the report, but the reality was different and was reported from day 1 and they just ignore everything.

Very disappointed with connels at St budeaux office.My offer was accepted by the seller than was told the buyer has gone with a higher offer and first time buyer. Which I accept but what I do not accept is being ignored by the office which I sent several emails to and I copied in the manager which I appreciate he was on holiday.. explained my mobile would not let me ring them. So hence sending emailsI was going to put a higher bid in on the property but my emails was ignored.All you had to do was answer my email and say the seller is not accepting any higher bids on the property.Also was told I was not a cash buyer but I could be wrong. I thought if I sold my house and the sale from the house goes into my bank and I pay for the house out of the money. This classes you as a cash buyer. Very disappointed customer. Hence why you receive a bad review. Not even worth 1. Manager not even messaged either

I would not recommend this company to anyone. They took my deposit after assuring me I would get the apartment, fully knowing my situation. Once they had my money, the communication became almost impossible you can’t reach them after 12pm, and they completely stopped responding to messages and calls. In the end, they refused to give me the apartment and refused to refund my deposit. This has been extremely unprofessional and stressful, and no customer should be treated this way.

I loved the property on their site, I asked for viewings on 31 ist of January, I was asked to view the property on a Saturday 05 of February, the key lock wasn't working I was asked to go back and view on 12th of February, after viewing we were told that we would get a phone call with landlords approval or not, then I got a phone call from the Connels, asking me how much I was gonna give to them i told the the price, and if it was long therm wich I agreed.No phone call from the Landlords approval or denial, I called the Connels twice on 12th and 13th of February,her colleagues told me: the first time the lady how show us flat was busy, the second time she was out, on 14th of February I checked the site and the Status was "let agreed "; later i was told that the flat was given to someone else. No common sense from the Connels to tell us the good or bad news before their changed the flat status on Google and let's find out this way.No common sense from the ConnelsI was wondering let agreed by whom?

They have been holding my deposit since March with no reason at all. We spoke to the landlord personally and agreed an amount which we sent an email detailing and still they don’t want to process our deposit. The one star is for Naomi and Ben from the hitchin office everybody else is useless

GoogleGenuinely the worst estate agent I have dealt with in my 5-6 years of private renting The property manager Jo is genuinely pointless to speak to and very unprofessional she constantly interrupts you when talking over the phone and ignores the law when it comes to the property’s she manages. I cannot understand why a company would operate in the manner that this company has since we have been with them. Very little issue with the property, some of which include not having a fitted fire alarm, was an argument to get sorted and in most cases wasn’t sorted. Jo told us that the person who first dealt with us was no longer in the company but that was then later found out to be a lie and when confronted about that she lied again by saying she never said that even tho we have an email from her stating that. If you are looking to private rent please avoid this company at all costs unless you enjoy endless headaches and constant lies. We will be putting through a complaint with their business due to the unprofessional and frankly unpleasant experience we have had. If you do go with this estate agent only email them never call them as you will more than likely have to take them to court and will need all the evidence you can get to stop them lying to cover themselves.

GoogleI would strongly advise avoiding Balgores Basildon. Our experience renting a flat through them over the past year has been awful from start to finish. From the day we collected the keys, we encountered multiple issues that were never properly addressed. The property was handed over in poor condition, including a fire alarm that was not fitted and left on the floor, which we reported immediately. Despite raising the issue numerous times over 11 months, it was never resolved, even though it breached basic fire safety regulations. We also had damaged furniture that had to be thrown away due to the poor condition of the flat when it was let to us. The front door didn’t close properly for almost a year, it was only around a week before we gave notice to leave that they finally contacted us about replacing it. However, it was never actually replaced, as we moved out shortly after. We also found Joanne to be extremely unprofessional and rude. She regularly cut us off during phone calls, refused to listen properly, and made communication unnecessarily stressful and frustrating. The situation became even more concerning when, after my fiancé left an honest Google review, we received a call from Michael, who asked us to remove it because it “affected his job.” When we declined, he offered a £50, £100 Amazon voucher in exchange for taking it down. He also asked us to delay posting another review while they “looked into resolving the issue.” We agreed, but no one ever followed up, even after more than a week. This experience has shown us the complete lack of care, professionalism, and compliance within this branch. Please make sure to do your research and know your tenant rights before dealing with them.

I went to get a mortgage in principle. After discussing and giving all my intimation, I didn’t hear anything from the company. I kept sending emails, and phone calls to the office multiple times. Every time I was told that someone would get back to me but nobody never got back. Incredible how such a company can even exist with such employees.

Just watched a investigation by panorama on connells estate agents which was very concerning, highlighting the company dishonesty. I went to connells in kingswood Bristol to let out a property. The letting agent seem to know what he was doing. Definitely had the talk but unfortunately did not have the walk. When he posted the property on rightmove website. The photographs of the property were horrendous!!! The photos were so blurry and poor they looked like a 10 year old had taken them. No video as promised. As soon as I seen them, I demand they be taken down before futher damage was done. I was assured this would corrected. When chasing them up the next day I discovered they had replaced the photographs with ones I had taken myself and doing up the property. They failed at the most basic and crucial part of advertising the property. I would advoid this company and also watch the tv investigation on connells. Advoid at all cost unless your happy to be taken for a ride.
