As a first-time buyer, I was very anxious about the ins and outs of buying a property. I'd heard the process could be very stressful. After saving my money while renting through Balgores, I contacted their sales team and spoke to Sophia. From the very first phone call, Sophia's warm, welcoming manner and friendly nature immediately put me at ease. She invited me into the office to discuss properties within my budget and also introduced me to their mortgage adviser. Sophia arranged several viewings and has been guiding me through every step of the process, always keeping me informed and making everything much less daunting. Wonderful service

Katie in particular was really helpful and kind in the Peterborough branch. She went up and beyond in helping me with the sale of my property. When we hit a roadblock (which were many from my solicitors side!) she did everything she could to help resolve the issues. Even though this wasn’t her responsibility she was really helpful in chasing up both sides to get the sale moving forward. And finally we completed yesterday after a very stressful 15 months! Thank you Katie. I would recommend connells and if you have the pleasure of working along with Katie you will not be disappointed.

Disorganised and incompetent

Unfortunately I made a mistake to trust connells of Harrow to let mo properly in harrow. Please stay away from this people. They let my property and from day one they was collecting the the rent and kept the money up to 3 weeks before they paid in to my account.. never reply emails and messages and never anybody there to talk to. On the last 2 months I had to ask the tenants to pay straight in to my account. A very frustrating 13 months. When tenants moved out Theo was some damage to the flat… Tenants agreed a cost to be detached from the deposit and emailed connells to confirm. Nothing happened despite the numbers of reminders emails and messages from maysself and tenants. 5 weeks after tenants moved out I received a email from connells saying can’t make a claim from “zero deposit” because over 28 days have passed since tenants moved moved out… That’s is insulting my intelligence! Zero deposit have now confirmed that I won’t be able to claim because of the 28 day deadline! I have just lost £800 because of they’re disorganisation and negligence. Stay away as a tenant or as a landlord!

Liam and Michael are outstanding - their knowledge of the rental market, their dedication to providing outstanding service and their results are truly remarkable. Terrible service, this company will just treat you like a number. Remember you are not important to them. 1st they sold me a flat of non standard construction they claim they didn't know that, but there iwn surveyor know that without looking at the flat! 2nd the si called mortgage advisor for life, what a joke. Dan at mutley Plain branch in Plymouth couldn't be bothered to reply to my messages when I told him I was getting worried that I hadn't heard anything. But was very quick to respond when I said I was pulling out. I had my hopes and dreams of becoming an investor in property smashed by them. Di yourself a favor people use an online broker, they will not charge you any fees. Broker fees are a rip off as they get paid a commission from the mortgage company too. Never again will I deal with connells

Avoid at all cost

Avoid at all cost! Didn't put up a for sale sign, no proactive communication, try to get you to pay extra £500 commission as an 'incentive' for them to do their job of selling your house!!! Tried getting out of the contract early which was a continued "no", but funny that as soon as the Ombudsman was mentioned they dropped us like a stone. Once the property was off the market, after 12 weeks, I was then woken up very early one morning to find a man trying to put up a for sale sign...say no more!
