L I sold a house and they over estimated the fees and tried to charge me 8 grand. They are dirty don’t touch them. They have very good lawyers as well that will play the game. Avoid this headache.

Finally a positive rental experience.

My son is 22 years old and was excited to rent his own property. That experience became a nightmare very quickly. However thankfully we met Joe Sharman at Bairstow Eaves Coventry City office. My son has looked at over 20 properties through different agents, filled in numerous amounts of paperwork, and 90% of the time has never had any response. Joe has gone over and above finally making our rental quest a positive experience. Joe was professional helpful, friendly and made the process of my son finely getting his rental property a success. We would like to thank Joe for all of his help and guidance. Would 100 per cent recommend.

I am sad to be writing a negative review as the lettings manager we dealt with when we rented the property was professional and very helpful. The property was managed by the landlord after that. However. when it came to the return of the security deposit at the end of the tenancy, we made enquiries when we had heard nothing 7 days after a very prompt agreement with the landlord. We were told that the deposit had been paid out that day. This was a lie. We finally received the deposit after 10 days, which is the maximum amount of time specified in the deposit scheme terms. This was clearly intended to maximise the interest they earned on the deposit. If you want your deposit back “without delay”, as specified in the deposit scheme terms, avoid this estate agent.

One star because no stars is not an…

One star because no stars is not an option. If you want to let a property and then chase your own money for the next year, Bairstoweves is the place to go. You will not be told when your supposed to cash in your rent or what the process is when your tenants don’t pay, you will just be left guessing. All of that for a steap management fee. @Bairstoweves, Breach of contract is the term I guess.

Dreadful communication all round

The level of communication from this company, in particular the Coventry branch, is appalling. Four times since the 4th of February I've phoned up about the same problem they haven't fixed yet, and I've been told someone will be in touch, but they haven't called back. And most times when I call, no one answers.

I want to give a glowing review for Chrissie Thompson …. My brother had a house fire and I was trying to sort him a rented accommodation out for Christmas…. It has been a long and stressful 3 weeks until I spoke to Chrissie …. In 3 weeks she is the only letting agent to call me back and was so helpful and supportive in trying to deal with the insurance company the claims department the rapid relocate people …. So as you can guess there was a lot of phone calls back and forward …. Chrissie was so patient with me and guided me through so emphatically….. Property has been left with lots of rubbish and lots of defects. Few days before purchase asked about this by email and it was confirmed that property will be left in proper state. Called regarding a property to rent from them at 9.37 And was arranged for 13:45.Called them back at 10:37 asked for viewing confirmation and the address as i was traveling from far. Gentlemen responded that confirmation will be send to me shortly and he confirmed the viewing once again with me. I had nearly 2h traveling time so i left and got to the area ( had no internet underground). There was not confirmation email yet, called the office about 10 times and no one picked up. Since i was there i followed right move address got to the road and saw another person waiting to view.I explained to the agent there and got refused to see the property as there was no booking. After waiting for 35 min in there by the property since the other agent was trying to get in touch to the person who booked it i left. about 30 min after i got a phone call from the person who booked the viewing saying oh the tenant didn’t want to do more viewing. I replied at least I should’ve received any email or call to say oh Its been canceled. He replied when u don’t have confirmation email why did u come? Yes after 2 times confirmation of the viewing on the phone i should’ve thought they would played me and waste my time.This agency? NEVER again.

Thank you to all the team who made my recent purchase of a buy-to-let property smooth. I have bought two properties from Bairstowe Eves in the area.Aimee was great. She informed me of a property that I didn't realise was for sale. They listened to me when I said that the price was too high as I had bought a similar property in the same block. The communication was smooth and they were very patient with me as I also am a surgeon running a private practice so had only small amounts of the time during the day.Julie was amazing at finding a tenant to move in only a few days after completion.Also, thank you to Camilla who sold me my first buy-to-let in the area.
