I have been looking for house on zoopla and came accross few properties which belongs to bairstoweves,intially they were saying viewing are unavailable then later on they don’t even answer phone and when they answered they were showing properties only which they want to show and not one we want or shown available.One of the most vulnerable experience staff don’t care they don’t come back to you i would never want property from them

I recently had a viewing with Jamie and, although I didn’t go ahead with the property, I was really impressed by the service he provided. Jamie made the whole process feel relaxed and pressure-free, which I really appreciated. If you’re looking for a lettings agent who’s genuinely helpful and easy to deal with, I’d highly recommend Jamie. He’s got a really cool name too :)

Please avoid, managed my 2 properties for several years with no issues until I was informed my tenant reported a leak from the tap below kitchen sink, I gave them permission to carry out the repair immediately. Nine weeks later they informed me that the leak has been repaired but there is now significant damage to the laminate flooring and kitchen unit. There plumber said the damage was already like it when he went there but he hadn't visited the property until he carried out the repair, tenant told us he had asked them to send a photo of the leak at the beginning and decided to repair it when it suited him over 2 months later. They admitted they were at fault but offered 250.00 as a good will gesture for over 6,000.00 worth of damage. We have stopped them managing our properties and gone with a more professional company who have told us they react to any issues within 24 hours which you would expect. My advise to them would be to use professional contractors to carry out there work and follow up to make sure work has been carried out. Very expensive mistake on our part to think we trusted these people.

Do not try and sell your property with…

Do not try and sell your property with the Dagenham Team they are so inexperienced and messy, they allowed 2 buyers of my property go because they told us they had a buyer. Took our property from the market and wasted months of our time. Completely delayed and messed up our sale caused us financial difficulties and when questioned about their methods they try to gaslight and manipulate. They are so defensive and can’t take any criticism. They are completely appalling. Do not use to sell!

Where to start. I contacted Abbotts after being let down by another estate agent. From the moment Jorden arrived to the value the property he demonstrated professionalism and knowledge of his industry. We didn't immediately contract because we had an offer suddenly come through. Unfortunately our sale fell through. Straight away I called Abbotts and they managed to set up several viewings on the property before any photos had even been taken. These viewings led to several offers. Unfortunately these buyers also were able to proceed so we got back on the merry-go-round. More viewings in just days of going back on the market which again led to several offers and now here we are about to complete. Jorden and the whole team at Abbotts are professional and know their job. The viewings were conducted by the agents and they showed care for my home. They are responsive by phone and email and work hard with progression pushing for news and updates. I honestly can't recommend Jorden and the team enough, they have an excellent ethos and care for their clients. They work hard and effectively and have earned every penny I'm going to be paying. What a fantastic service from start to finish! I wanted to say a big Thank you to Jack White whose enthusiasm was contagious! This young man was instrumental in getting my house on the market. He talked me through the agreement and he really listened to what I wanted. My house sold after the first viewing!!!! A big thank you also goes to Dean Starkey, who negotiated the price, kept me updated with everything along the way. Nothing was too much trouble for this company. this review is for Wanstead London branch. They are not keen to sell the property they just need the property to be in their portfolio. I do not recommend if you are looking to sell to use this firm. I had my property for well over 4 months, ultimately I decided to take it off, still I had to give 1 month notice, even though I have already informed I have decided to remove, they don't even answer to the calls. so how can a potential buyer contact them. Even after giving them in writing 1 month notice still they didn't remove from advertising on rightmove. She calls and says to put it under Auction method. Seriously?

I chose Abbotts to sell my flat in July . Started off great until they closed the deal with me. Then once it was live on website, there was no communication I had to chase and chase for weeks and months for an update. The flat was not sold nor did they care about my situation being heavily pregnant and needing a quick sale. To be honest David was alright when he was at work. I can honestly say from July to October I’ve had about 3 calls from them , I complained to customer service and they promised to be contacted more often but that didn’t change anything . Finally gave up as still not been called back after 3 weeks of trying, then on Friday I told them that I’m picking up my keys and they took it off the market/website the same day😂. They’re quick to do that but I’m still waiting for a call back after 3 weeks 😂 honestly it’s shocking. Personally I would NEVER use this agent again. Maybe buying /letting is different but selling is a hard no.

My past experiences of using estate agents for house purchases or sales have never been positive. That is until now. Awesome service from start to finish. Jordon was the original valuator when we got the process started. Once we went ahead with instructing Abbotts, due to Jordan’s promotion, Jack popped over to sort the paper work etc and then from then Dean was our go to guy for everything. All 3 of these guys made the whole process simple. Whenever we needed help with anything they were there to help. I cannot recommend Abbotts enough!

For 6 months I have called about properties and for 6 months all I heard was the property has been let when most times I received that response because I am on benefits due to disability. Then Abbotts gave me an opportunity to rent a property. Although the process is moving forward Samantha and Dean of Abbotts in Basildon have given me updates along every step and have made me feel like a normal person being given the VIP treatment all the way.
