I went for a house viewing and the guy was late which was fine but I wasn’t made aware, the house looked nothing like the photos and when we went inside there were dirty stained mattresses on the floor, old food on the kitchen sides and pasta in the upstairs bathroom sink. It wasn’t checked before to see if it was ready for viewing and when I emailed the agency to thank them for showing me but I will have to leave it because of these issues I was ignored, not one apology.

The team at Northwood Banbury have been absolutely fantastic. Jessie has been phenomenally patient with my 1000 questions since enquiring about a property and then incredibly understanding when it came to my nerves after applying for a property. The team in the office are always happy to help over the phone & are really friendly too. Absolutely amazing service & communication, unlike other local letting agents that I've dealt with they seem genuinely happy to help, my partner and I have gone from viewing a property to a successful application in just 3 days, I cannot recommend Northwood enough. Estate agents often have a bad reputation but dealing with Jonathan at Northwood was more like having a friend helping you to sell your house. I initially got a quote from Northwood several years ago but decided not to proceed. When I did come to sell I got quotes from several agents but none had the energy and keenness that I remembered Jonathan showing several years before so I was pleased to find he still worked at Northwood when I contacted them. The house was marketed quickly and the photos and video tour were wonderful. Some agents just put together a slideshow and call it a video but Jonathan gave a full walkthrough, something I consider essential in these difficult times of coronavirus. Viewings were arranged professionally and all carried out accompanied by the agent in a Covid-safe manner. Constructive feedback was given promptly after each viewing. I can't review from a buyers perspective but I believe each viewing was conducted well and with effort to sell the property and thankfully I didn't have to wait too long for a buyer. The agents' fees are fair and pretty much standard for the area and I would not hesitate to use Northwood again.

The Northwood team somehow manage in a crisis situation and really limited by time to be helpful and understand the whole conjunction of my needs. They understood what were major points to find a key place and affordable one that would become my first home in England. They put all the knowledge they have to bring some other extra support to make my living existence pleasant and comfortable. All together they did their part of 'hope to be happy in your new home' brilliantly in my case using purely people person skills wisely being on top of other agencies that I've tried but also with one of them recommendation! Sometimes is not all about competition is more about people to people matching criteria!
