I cannot recommend Alexander & Co. Aylesbury enough. From the first interaction I knew this would be a better experience than a ‘National’ estate agent in the same town. Once engaged with Andrew and Karen the whole process was seamless, from assessing the property to marketing it, the guys took care of all of it and within a week we had a significant amount of viewings with several offers. Using Alexander & Co managed services was also excellent. We had a ‘tricky’ tenant however the whole process of managing this was dealt with by Amber. Amber is a credit to Alexander & Co, nothing was to much hassle, she would update me at every point in time whilst her knowledge of the process was a massive help. All in all, I could not recommend the team enough, fantastic people who care and take pride in what they do whilst keeping the lines of communication open at all times. A BIG thank you from me to the team, you are brilliant 👏 ***Updated*** Having now converted one of the rental properties into a sale I wanted to update this review. The sales team have been outstanding, much like the rental team. Nothing was too much for them with a difficult sale and the flexibility they offered saved the sale! Great service from Matt & Marcus. Harvey was simply brilliant managing what was a pain if a solicitor! His approach to manage a difficult situation to a welcomed outcome was great, communication was exceptional and nothing was too much trouble - Sincere thanks Harvey, not sure we would have got this sale over the line if it wasn’t for your determination!! I was refused a mortgage by two lenders because of an escalating ground rent clause within the lease. Ground rent is a stumbling block for purchasers of leaseholds. I wish I had thought to contact the estate agent when I was left in limbo by my lender, as they speak directly to the seller. The team at Alexander & Co. kept me informed of what was happening all along and soothed my frazzled nerves. Their property listings are more transparent than those of the other estate agents I dealt with.

I would leave a zero star or negative star review if I could. This agency lied about their verbal conversations and agreements with me, and set charges for the most ridiculous things they could after vacating and improving a rented property. After disputing the return of my deposit, they kept it all due to their lies and cheating the system. AVOID them at all costs.

Just would love to show my appreciation and thanks to the one and only Ann-Marie! Every time I speak to her I picture the pop star! Haha. We have been renting at our property not far off three years now in Aylesbury! If we ever have an issue she’s on it straight away! Ann Marie is always so polite and I always wait for her to finish ‘properly management, Ann Marie speaking’ I then say,. ‘Hiiii it’s stacey, again! Your number 1 fan’ She’s great at advice a good listening ear particularly where I’ve been stressed and she’s so understanding. They are the most dreadful company to rent from AVOID, AVOID, AVOID. They refuse to get the landlord to do repairs....... their trick is to keep getting trades to come and assess the job and then do nothing. I have lived with rats that came threw holes from outside where the pipework was not concreted in. I actually saw. A little brown head one night I was cleaning my teeth. I requested the work to be done they sent a 6'5" 25 stone bloke around as soon as he heard the word rat he ran into my bedroom and got hysterical (nearly knocking me over) w hailing I don't do rats I don't do rats. I ended up buying foam filler and doing it myself. Work that took 18 months to never Ripped felt in porch ?..... had to keep buckets to catch rain Broken extractor fan on kitchen cooket No extractor fan in bathroom Three doors to big wouldn't close One bedroom rotten with mould ( needed medication for continual chest infection) Floor not nailed down properly (fell twice) Said they would replace garage door to get me to rent ( I'm a psychologist and have to keep records for 6 years) then refused to do it..... I HAD TO LEND LANDLORD £1000 and let him pay me back over a year???? Put up rent £200 a month, said they would do repairs....... nothing for 3-4 months when I moaned I got ...KICKED OUT.....,.section 21 was served. It goes on and on and the Lettings Manager..a man......is a nasty misogynistic excuse for a decent human being. They didn't notify me of an inspection, the person barely knocked and then came in...... I had just got out of the bath.,,,,.. thank goodness it was not a man My stay there was obtrusive hell. This is the sort of place to send someone you dislike too.,,....., then you can sit back and watch them suffer NEXT EVIL UNBELIEVABLE CHAPTER.....Update I moved out end of July...., 3rd of September received a court order ASKING ME TO LEAVE ...... 7 weeks after I had left and asking me to pay court fees of £425. I of course had it put aside ......I can prove where I live. Not only are they spiteful but pretty stupid into the bargain. Watch this space the outcome of the idiots is to follow.
