The house was sold in an incredibly quick time and for a very good price.In order to sell the house a nice set of pictures were produced, giving an attractive yet accurate view of the best features of the house. Had the early viewings not produced a buyer, I'm sure these photos would have helped to sell the property further.Having agreed a price, the whole process of working through to completion has gone through without any issues and Symonds and Sampson have always been there to give us assistance or recommendations whenever we've asked.Thank you Kate and all the others in the Dorchester office who were involved at various times.

From first listing our property for sale we received excellent realistic advice about property values and the market. A buyer was quickly found but a few months down the line they pulled out. The team were straight onto re advertising and quickly found a second buyer. Despite no onward chain the process of selling is painfully slow but Amanda was brilliant and chased regularly, kept us informed liaising the purchaser and solicitors. Communication was friendly frequent and honest. As distant vendors it was so reassuring to know all that could be done was being done in an efficient professional manner. This was the best experience I’ve ever had with an estate agent. The sale and purchase went very smoothly which is in part down to the circumstances and the market but it was all handled very efficiently alongside a personal touch. The marketing of my property was excellent and it all went just as they had predicted suggesting precise knowledge of the market. The thing that really stood out for me was the excellent communication all the way through. Even when the individuals who were dealing with my sale weren’t available everyone else in the office seemed to be up to speed with my sale and able to help. Responses were quick every single time. In April 2022 my local branch of S and S were invited to carry out a valuation of our property with a view to placing it on the market. A representative called as arranged and toured the property. That was the last we heard from the company. We were not provided with a valuation or any guide as to how they would market the property. This was a complete waste of our time and theirs. Unprofessional from the representative concerned. Despite a posting on here from S&S in response to my review, they have not made contact with me. The do appear, however, to respond to reviews which are favorable! eventually I was contacted by the local branch of S&S. They were apologetic and explained the circumstances. I was happy to accept their apologies.

The last minute cancellation from the Sherborne Office meant we were unable to cancel booked accommodation and also travel expenses, 260 mile round trip , this is a considerable sum of money. I would be very wary of this outfit.
I am in receipt of your reply. I am not convinced and think that people who live a long distance away should remain wary due to the costs involved.
