A very helpful Agent

Although Symonds and Sampson were the agents for the vendor we found them to be super helpful to us too. Our own sale was long and arduous but they kept faith with us, bringing the process to a satisfactory conclusion. Caroline went out of her way to assist with a documentation issue which was really appreciated at the time. A lovely gift was provided when we were finally able to collect the keys. What a thoroughly professional Agent! I had the pleasure to deal with Annie, she was extremely personable yet highly efficient and very professional at all times.. Due to this, the whole experience proceeded smoothly and it was an absolute pleasure to deal with her throughout. Kirsty and her team went the extra mile to get the sale of my property and the purchase of the new property over the line , Sophie with her fantastic negotiation skills managed to achieve a higher asking price for my property then actually advertised. Unfortunately it was a long drawn out process , with not fault of Symonds & Symonds , it was due to my buyers chain taking a long to time to exchange and complete , but Kim kept chasing down the chain and updated me throughout , by doing so, I managed to keep my sanity . I honestly believe that this sale / purchase would of not got to completion without the dedication and hard work of the Symonds & Sampson team , can't praise them highly enough.

In all respects from the first point of contact on the phone and in person, through the roller coaster ride going through the auction process, to the final outcome of completion today, their tireless expertise has been outstanding. In particular I dealt a great deal with Andy Wakinshaw who was always a consummate professional balanced with ease of approachability and constant, faithful assistance. Every encounter I had with Andy was so easy and confidence building since this was my very first foray into selling a property and was clueless. Andy however was a rock with very perceptive and accurate advice the entire way through over a few months. Following his obvious groundswell of gathered knowledge and insightful advice, we were able to complete on what became a tricky situation, that he handled without fuss and instilling confident peace in what could easily have been so different. The Dorchester team of Stuart, Rebecca, and Michelle recently sold my cottage in Martinstown. Initial contact with Stuart was friendly with very knowledgeable advice on the market locally and tips on presentation. We sold and bought our houses this year with Symonds and Sampson in Bridport. Though we initially wanted to go with purple bricks to save money, I was impressed with the argument Daniel made for using a local estate agent, and the decision was absolutely the right one. There are estate agents and there is Symonds and Sampson. I’ve moved house a few times but the attention and professionalism of Rickey and the whole team was the best I have experienced. Arranged a viewing for a rental…

Arranged a viewing for a rental property in Yeovil. After a two and a half hour drive viewed the property liked it and the location offered to take the property on and put a holding deposit down. Told I couldn’t as she the letting agent had other viewings. She told me she would get back to me later that day or tomorrow. Never heard back, no email no call , just rented it out to someone else. Very rude and poor customer service, avoid this company with it’s arrogance if you can.
