Dismissive arrogant manager,showed us a…

Sturminster newton branch ,Dismissive arrogant manager,showed us a property , didnt introduce himself , told us immediately the property needed improvement new wiring etc , no problem with that, but was then dismissive of any further questions , subsequently didnt answer e mails asked another staff.member to prompt him after a week , eventually phoned and seemed very irritated with my questions about the property and gave me misinformation , a most peculiar experience all round , dont use that branch .

Had a very warm and welcoming experience during the purchase of our home. The communication was first class, the email updates and the telephone conversations were friendly and helpful throughout. The experience I had with the Bridport…

The experience I had with the Bridport office in particular Steve Allen was excellent. The sale of our house was not as straight forward as I would have hoped. Steve Allen was always very supportive during this time and assisted in resolving any issues or concerns. Communications was maintained throughout the process keeping me informed of the progress of the sale and the office staff were always very helpful when contacted.

Firstly, I have to say, Symonds & Sampson didn't sell our property, (long story), BUT Daniel was amazing. His help and advice was far superior to the help and advice we received off Callum from Goadsbys estate agents, who were selling our property. Callum did more to help our buyers than he did to help us. After the first viewing, Goadsbys advice was to drop the price of our property. Throughout the whole process of selling our property, I had to chase Callum for updates. When I rang to speak with him, I was told 'he's currently out, but will call you back once he's back in the office. We got to the stage where we went to Symonds and Sampson and asked them to sell for us. Once they had our property on their books, Goadsbys rang to say they had a buyer. We were messed about constantly by Goadsbys. We went to Daniel for advice several times, he was brilliant. He helped us far more than Callum. I can't thank Daniel enough for helping us through what was a very long and arduous time. Bear in mind, Symonds and Sampson were NOT our estate agents.

Smooth Moves & Sound Advice: Renting Made Easy with Nicky at Simmons & Sampson

I recently had the pleasure of working with Nicky from Symonds & Sampson when searching for a new place to rent, and I must say, it made the whole moving process a fair bit easier than I’d bargained for. From the off, Nicky was quick off the mark, introducing me to properties that matched my letting requirements. What stood out was how influential she was in the decision process, but never pushy, she gave me proper space and time to think it over, ensuring I was choosing the right place for myself and my family. The wider Symonds & Sampson team were solid too. Communication with the rest of the team was friendly and mostly smooth. The handover of keys and paperwork was handled efficiently. I did notice, now and then, that with the team juggling a heavy workload and the odd bit of job-sharing, some details slipped through the net. That said, the overall experience was still very positive and left me feeling confident about using Symonds & Sampson again when the need arises. All in all, if you’re looking for someone who will look after your interests, keep things friendly and straightforward, I’d recommend Nicky and her team. Top job, cheers!

Highly recommend Beaminster Symonds and Sampson

Matt and the team were supportive from the very beginning of the process, when we didnt purchase the house we were hoping to buy they were kind and compassionate. We never felt like there were any showy sales pitches, just genuine care and consideration. We sold with S&S quickly and they always felt invested in the process for us. We found the home we wanted to buy and Matt was exceptionally proactive in chasing the chain which helped relive (some!) stress. We cant thank you all enough Beaminster Symonds and Sampson! Wonderful experience

My partner and I recently bought our very first property at auction with Symonds & Sampson on the 16th of May, and the whole experience was genuinely brilliant. As first-time buyers, the process felt quite overwhelming at times, but the team went above and beyond to support us. We only viewed the property two weeks before the auction and completely fell in love with it. From that moment on, Shula was absolutely incredible, always friendly, quick to respond to all our calls and emails, and genuinely lovely to speak with. She was so helpful, calm, and reassuring, which made all the difference during what could have been a very stressful couple of weeks. We also want to say a big thank you to Ann, who showed us the property a couple of times. She was so patient and warm, always up for a friendly chat and made us feel completely at ease. Having instructed Symonds Sampson to handle the sale of our property we were pleased from the start with the marketing, having a large number of viewings and feedback . After an initial viewing handled by Sarah Cornish-Dale who suggested a second viewing by potential buyer if more information was required,we were pleased that a second viewing was indeed successful with negotiations of offer handled by Stephen. Very professional service

Symonds and Sampson (Sturminster Newton office) dealt with the sale of my mum's house which completed at end of March 2025. Mum is in her 90's and staff accompanying the many viewings were lovely with her. We were always given feedback from prospective buyers and kept up to date. Very professional service from all staff but Shula in particular deserves a mention. We sold through the auction process which was completely unfamiliar to us but Shula walked us through each step and made it all very straightforward. She was always responsive to emails and phonecalls and was a pleasure to deal with. Would definitely recommend Symonds and Sampson.

One of the easiest but strangest transactions for Matt from the Beaminster office. We were away in France for a month when the house we'd been watching came back on the market.
