The team at Gould Harrison have recently helped me sell my mother's house, on her behalf, now that she has gone in to a care home.Lee was sensitive to the situation and was able to give me accurate advice as to price, which was achieved.It was also good to know that all those who viewed the house were in a positive buying position. The communication from all the team was great, they were 'troubleshooters' when needed and dealt with all queries efficiently but also with good humour.I am so grateful to mum's neighbour who recommended I considered commissioning Gould Harrison to sell mum's house.

I sold my Mum's bungalow through G&H and unfortunately my Mum passed away during the process so it ended up having to go through probate. Lee was on the case all the way through and kept me in the loop at all times with good communication. If it hadn't been for Lee and the G&H team the whole process would have taken a lot longer as they were chasing both sets of solicitors constantly. Great efficient team.When the original buyer started to play games I got an honest view from Lee on what he believed the best route forward to be, on taking that advice the sale was more profitable.

I put in an offer on a property Gould Harrison was selling. The vendor accepted my offer and was told by Lee he would contact me once the owners had found another property. I never heard from Lee, 3 months later I got very aggressive and threatening messages from Lee. Next thing I know my solicitors contacted their solicitors do start the searches and was told the sellers were no longer selling to me. Turned out after I waited 3 months I then got guzumpt for £2500 and Gould Harrison didn’t have the decency to tell me. I would recommend people avoid Gould Harrison as much as they can.

Thank you for taking the time to comment here on Trust Pilot, we value feedback whether it be positive or negative as we are always looking to improve our interactions with clients. We do however feel that for balance there are some important omissions from your comments which we would like to address. Having been advised the upward chain was in place you informed us that you had other properties to view before deciding on whether or not to proceed on the subject property. It had been some time since your original offer so this was understood. You also raised concerns over the parking arrangements at the property and we arranged for the vendor to leave the driveway clear so you could test the parking of a larger than typical vehicle. Following this, despite our best efforts we were unable to make any further contact with you and the vendor made an ultimatum that without response they would unfortunately have to re-market their property or risk losing their onward purchase. No response was received by the date set and the property was re-marketed. It was not until several weeks later that we heard from your solicitor notifying us of your wish to proceed but having accepted an alternative offer and made significant progress the vendor obliged to remain with the other party.A failed sale or purchase is of no benefit to anyone and we appreciate how stressful buying a home can be, even more so with the state of the world in 2020. It is very unfortunate that things did not work out in this instance but we wish you every success with your other purchase. This was the most stressful transaction but through absolutely no fault of Gould and Harrison who I cannot praise enough.
I started my buying journey in Feb 2023 and completed Dec 2023 buying from them. Putting an offer on the house I fell in love with in March. It was Andy who took me for a couple of viewings and never pressured me to make a decision but let me decide.
At various points I spoke with the rest of the team who were always so helpful, but I have a special mention for Jo who was phenomenal with her communication to all parties in the chain and really went the extra mile. She never once got annoyed with me, she was on the end of the phone or email when I was stressed and crying and also when there were happy moments.
If I ever sell I will definitely be using Gould and Harrison to be my agent.
