Very impressed with the whole team at Gould & Harrison in Ashford. We had a lot of issues with our original house sale with many hurdles encountered, they remained professional informative and supportive throughout. I’d highly recommend them.

I'd be wary of being lied to by this agent for their own gain at the beginning and end of a tenancy. Fortunately, I am in a position where I keep all written evidence but others may not be so lucky. Sadly in the current climate, my review will not deter people from renting with them but perhaps landlords could review other agents when deciding who to market their property with. As well as being lied to, they also acted in an underhand manner which was highlighted and dismissed by the Deposit Protection Service. As stated by the DPS 'After the online claim was submitted to The DPS, the letting agent including additional claim(s). I do not consider it fair or reasonable for a letting agent to include additional claim(s) that the tenant was not notified of when the claim against the deposit was started'.

GoogleOver all they provide a good service, the reason I didn't give a 5 star is because when viewing my current property they didn't mention important maitence issues, when I questioned a member of staff after noticing the issues my response was I wanted to see if you noticed, I thought this was unprofessional. Although we had lots of contact with them to get issues resolved to start with, they always picked up the phone and got the problems resolved in a few days.

GoogleMost unprofessional Estate agents I have had to deal with. I veiwed a property 2 months ago and told them I was intrested and went ahead with my application. After numerous calls of checking my application process they said they would get back to me after speaking to the landlord. I was first to veiw and first to put a application for the house and I didn't hear anything back. The house has now been let to someone but I thought the communication could have been a lot better from the lettings team. It's a good job I'm wasn't in a hurry to move.NegativeProfessionalism

We were very happy with their performance.

A professional, efficient, friendly service that went above and beyond what you would expect. As they know their area so well and they understand their clients needs, they can effectively match buyer with property. Our house sold on the first viewing and they even gave us advice and support on properties on our house purchase, even though it was out of their area. One thing that sets them aside, apart from their excellent knowledge of their industry, is their excellent liaison with solicitors and other estate agents in the chain. This helps to speed up the process and ensures you know where you are and of anything you have to do.
