GoogleWe have been using Lee and his company for many years now and he just sold our flats. Lee and his team are fantastic people to deal with. They have one office so whenever you call them you usually speak to the same person. We highly recommend Lee and his team if you are looking to buy or sell a property. Lee in particular, has a deep understanding of the market in Wye and through his extensive network of clients was able to secure an offer under very unique and difficult circumstances. They definitely go the extra mile. We tried other agencies and would by a country mile recommend Lee and his team for being able to get the job done!

GoogleGould Harrison have given extremely good service to my family in successfully selling my parents house in Wye near Ashford. It was tricky and quite a lengthy process as it needed a lot of work doing. But Lee Blackman was tireless in his endeavours and did many viewings. We are grateful to the whole team at this estate agent.

GoogleWe have just sold our property via Gould and Harrison and it has been such an easy process. From the initial meeting with Lee Blackman, through to the completion, Lee was fabulous. He kept his word from the outset and then throughout the process he was completely open and honest (even when it wasn't what we wanted to hear!). The staff in the office were equally as helpful. Every email and phone call was handled immediately and at no time were we left hanging waiting for a response from the team. It was an absolute pleasure doing business with them and I cannot recommend them highly enough. Should I need an estate agent again, I will not hesitate to make them my one and only call. A huge thank you to everyone at Gould and Harrison for making the sale of our house so easy.

GoogleTony on the lettings teams pulled out all the stops to help me out of a very sticky situation after I found the house that I had bought elsewhere was in a state of disrepair. I walked into Gould Harrison homeless and desperate, and 20 minutes later walked out a very happy gentleman! He found me a flat at a very competitive price, and helped streamline the application process to get me in the next day. Having never rented before, I was clueless to the process but Tony made it easy. Since moving in there's been a few times I've needed to contact him and he's been courteous, professional and efficient.

Great service from G&H. Lee was fantastic and very professional.G&H kept in touch and informed me of new properties as they came on the market.As soon as the property I purchased came on the market, Lee got in touch with me and showed me the property promptly. With the current Covid19 situation, I wasn't sure if the sale would go through but great communication from Lee who kept me informed throughout the process.I would definitely recommend G&H.
Having missed out on another property we knew this was the right one for you and your circumstances fitted the needs of the vendor perfectly. It wasn't easy with the COVID situation but once again this showed the importance of having the right solicitors and stakeholders involved in the transaction to get it through so swiftly. GoogleAfter GH Response Further to your response, this wasn't the case on the phone you were very blunt and rude and not obliging in any way, I was working the open day and was told there was no other days available until the open day was completed and that it would sell anyway. The only response I kept receiving was "viewings on Saturday only", very robotic and unhelpful. ORIGINAL Had the misfortune of trying to book a viewing with this company, basically there was one day for viewing and that's it so if you can't make it then too bad. The man I spoke to was so obnoxious and rude not to mention unhelpful. Obviously no one wants to leave their cosy little office to do other days unlike many other helpful estate agents that have been very accommodating and flexible. I wouldn't dream of selling or buying through this company.
Thank you for your enquiry regarding one of our properties. As explained during your call, an open day is scheduled for this coming Saturday and you were invited to attend. If unable to attend you were offered an appointment the following week. Access to the property is not available for the remainder of this week owing to activities there, hence the scheduled open day.

GoogleORIGINAL: A terrible experience start to finish. Dishonest management and incompetent sales agents led to the collapse of a sale after 5 months with the buyer refusing to speak to Gould Harrison and my solicitor highlighting multiple failings from the Gould Harrison agent. Avoid at all costs. EDITED AFTER GH RESPONSE: Gould Harrison failed to reveal the identity of the buyer or that the buyer could not speak English and required documents to be sent to family abroad for translation. After 5.5 months Jo the agent revealed that she had limited contact with the buyer and was primarily directing all questions through the buyers solicitors. When I raised this with Nigel, Nigel insisted that there was regular and open conversations with the buyer and that language was not an issue. Throughout the 6 months of the sale I only had two proactive updates from Gould Harrison - 90% of communications and requests for updates were initiated by myself, usually after hearing nothing for weeks. Post the collapse of the sale when I asked for a complaints process and data Gould Harrison refused and so I had to make a Subject Access Request where GH breached UK GDPR timings and have issued a charge. My experience start to finish has been terrible.
Dear Mr Tinmouth The collapse of your sale was unfortunate and very frustrating. As you are aware, after several months of chasing and despite being ready to exchange contracts (as confirmed to you by your solicitors) your "buyer" decided not to proceed on the purchase having experienced difficulties in obtaining suitable insurance. During the same period we assisted in quotes for clearance, arranged for fences to be repaired and attended as an emergency when you had a burst pipe. The sale falling through was very disappointing for you we fully appreciate but until the laws are changed governing property sales, both sides will reserve the right to withdraw at any time whether they have a valid reason or not.

GoogleI cannot fault the service at all from Gould & Harrison. I was very careful in selecting the right agent to sell my home and plumped for an independent over a chain and I’m so glad I did! Lee handled my sale and I‘ve got nothing but praise for his professionalism, knowledge and friendliness. Lee kept me up to date throughout the whole process, was never slow in responding to my queries, remain calm when I started to lose my head at times, and all-round good guy. Lee was very honest in his assessment of the market and the realistic price I would achieve for the house (compared to another agent who tried to tempt me by suggesting my house was worth way over the market price). I achieved a good price for my sale and the whole process was quick and efficient. Lee also took his time the give me advice on properties outside of the area which he had no involvement with! One of the best estate agents I’ve dealt with and this is from somebody who is very cynical of the profession! I would highly recommend Gould & Harrison if buying or selling in the local area.

GoogleI had Gould Harrison as my letting agent for 6 years and they also helped sell my property. The lettings team were always very helpful, responded to my queries in a timely manner and managed my queries well. I also found their fees to be competitive. In addition, Nigel was extremely helpful when it came to the sale of my property, keeping me regularly updated on the progress made and all of the issues relating to the sale. I am glad my father and I chose GH instead of the regular high street brand.

Nigel and the team were great from start to finish, in what was a difficult sale with lease extensions etc. They did all the viewings, kept me regularly updated and were the cheapest! It is obvious that as a local company they have that extra level of customer service you don't see with some of the other big name agents. I would absolutely recommend them to anyone thinking about selling their house.

I feel there has been a lot of misunderstandings where the agents are not being honest with me about my expectations. They appear helpful and on the same page on the phone (if I phone them) but then no follow up/contact. I am not sure what I am paying them for because at the moment I have been upset and disappointed for several months. Its stressful. I am fairly certain it could of been avoided with some honesty as I feel they agree with me but don't follow through or reply. I feel they are avoiding me. Not replying or responding it a statement in itself.
