Having used some larger agencies in the past without success , we decided to go for an independent local agent. We weren't disappointed. Oyster and Manesh dealt with our sale from us giving the instruction to us literally walking out the door on completion day. Manesh kept us up to date with what was going on throughout the whole process even calling to the house when necessary with information. This personal touch was greatly appreciated in what can be a really stressful process. I would thoroughly recommend Manesh if you need an estate agent. Thank you very much .

There are many repairs needed, some of which pose safety hazards. The agent has been unresponsive and his manager, Sajur, has ignored our complaint. It has been over a month and no one has followed up regarding the necessary repairs. This agency is terrible! Landlords should reconsider letting this agency manage their properties. Here are the specific issues we have encountered: - The dishwasher has not been functioning for the past three weeks, despite reporting it. No action has been taken. - When we moved in, the boiler did not work, leaving us without hot water and heating for six days. - There was a leak from the bathroom that extended into the kitchen due to faulty silicon. - There was another leak in the kitchen. - The main door has a large gap and cannot be secured, preventing us from accessing the garden. - The alarm system does not work. - The property was not properly cleaned, resulting in numerous bugs in the kitchen cabinet. - There have been multiple problems with the property that were not addressed or checked before it was rented out.

Manesh was helpful from start to end with my purchase of a property he was marketing. My own estate agent I feel was not doing enough to encourage my buyers through the process and at one point it felt like things might fall through due to a deadline being missed. Manesh chivvied my own estate agent on constantly, as well as tirelessly chasing up the whole chain, everyone's solicitors, and even on the day of completion was there to try to ensure my moving in went smoothly. (the previous owners took a fair bit longer than expected to move out and I turned up with my own removal men to move in - Manesh ensured that the chaos was to a minimum).

I recently sold my flat via Oyster Properties in Arnos Grove. My flat had been on the market since March 2016. However, at the time it was being marketed by an unscrupulous private agent who led me on, didn't even bother placing the property on Rightmove, found a dodgy buyer and ultimately the sale fell through. It was only in March/April this year that a cousin who had worked at the Oyster branch in Arnos Grove put me in touch with Sarju Shah who is one of the directors. From this point there was no turning back. Sarju and his sales manager Manesh Shah got on the case immediately, ensured that the property was visible on all popular platforms, got the viewings rolling and had three concrete offers for me on the table within a matter of days - all for the asking price or thereabouts. However it was not plain sailing as there were some unexpected complications which could have derailed the sale. Here is were I can justify the five star rating - Sarju and Manesh used their experience and knowledge to dissect the issues and find fair solutions, keeping in mind the interest of all parties. Their support has been second to none and I cannot recommend them enough.

I have rented a detached house from Oyster , which they didn’t do a proper inventory check out. There are many repairing needed and some even safety/ fire hazards. The agent - Kumar is not responsive and his manager Sajur ignore our complaint. It has been a month but no one follows up with all the repairs needed. Terrible agency! If all landlords would need to reconsider to let this agency to manage your properties, as they used tissue paper to stuff the hole on the wall and let the mould grows without action.

"Well, you hear all these horror stories about property sales in England. We had our property on the market for over 1 year. We started out with a London wide based company that claims to be the most modern and highest advertising and they locked us in for 6 months with promises that they would sell our house in weeks! Unfortunately, this proved to be a complete waste of our time as they could not bring enough potential viewers through the door. As we were about to find out is true of most estate agents, they are all mouth and no trousers! So when we were free from this we went multi agency and selected a local agent together with a company that we thought would have the right profile and clients for our unusual property. That turned out even worse with even less viewings. Like the one’s before them, they were extremely good at talking the talk but couldn’t walk the walk! Then Manesh, from Oyster Properties in Arnos Grove, came by and offered his services and as they were the most local agent for us, we thought what can we lose? It can’t be worse than any of the other 5 agents we had tried. Well, their approach was honest and not full of old flannel. They consistently brought along genuine, potential customers over a long period of time and, unlike the other agents, Oyster didn’t give up after the first couple of months. Eventually, through their hard work and commitment, they brought along the buyers for our property. So all good and well you might think? However, things didn’t go smoothly as we had some complications with a restricted covenant. This took 6 month to resolve and had it not been for the expert handling of the situation by Manesh and his colleagues, we are sure that the sale of the property would have fallen through. At every stage through this difficult time, they kept the buyers, the solicitors and ourselves informed and were always available at the end of the phone. They handled the situation with quiet expertise and professionalism. A big thank you to Manesh and Oyster for the honest, professional and personal service we received and we have no hesitation in recommending Oyster Properties to anyone buying, selling or looking to rent a property."
