My partner and I were going from a house share to a 2 bed flat. Previously, we had not been impressed with the way some lettings agents had rushed viewings or had arranged other potential clients to view the property at the same time, but Oyster really impressed us. Umit was punctual, allowed us to take our time viewing the property and was very warm personally. All questions were answered (if he did not know, he didn't pretend, found out and got back to us in a timely fashion). After the move he actually called to make sure everything had gone smoothly, which is a really nice touch. I cannot recommend Oyster Properties enough!PositiveResponsiveness, Professionalism

Bought buy to let with tenants so more complex than normal but Sarju was excellent with options available to us to make informed decisions. Their products are simple easy to understand when it comes to offering rent protection which I really liked as appose to an underwritten policy by insurance company, we know what’s covered which in turn helped make our decision making easier. Manesh was excellent at negotiating our offer which was effected as we approaching the end of the first holiday extension to stamp duty. Both Sarju and Manesh work hard and go the extra mile even after our purchase was completed to ensure we happy and everything is going well. An astounding and excellent service from start to finish. I dealt with Manesh of Oyster properties who has demonstrated an impressive level of competence and professionalism in the areas that should matter to anyone trying to sell their property especially in challenging market conditions. I was trying to sell a 2 bed flat in North London, and after talking to Manesh and some other national agents, I originally fell for the sales tricks of a national brand who led me to believe I can get a very goodmprice for my property... I didn't realise I was ignoring the true expert! Having wasted 4 months, I decided to change and go with Manesh. I needed an agent who would partner me on the journey, someone I could reach easily, trust and rely on for an honest assessment of the very dynamic housing market we were in during the 2020 pandemic. I am so glad to have made the change and go with Manesh as he sold my flat within 2 months! Today, I had the opportunity to visit one of their properties. During the viewing, my assistant mentioned that the rent seemed slightly high, so I inquired whether the rent was fixed or if there was any flexibility. The agent, Kumar Gurung, responded by saying that I could make a counteroffer. However, I was later disheartened to see that in his review, he had written that I was "poor." This comment was deeply upsetting.

I have rented a detached house from Oyster , which they didn’t do a proper inventory check out. There are many repairing needed and some even safety/ fire hazards. The agent - Kumar is not responsive and his manager Sajur ignore our complaint. It has been a month but no one follows up with all the repairs needed. Terrible agency! If all landlords would need to reconsider to let this agency to manage your properties, as they used tissue paper to stuff the hole on the wall and let the mould grows without action.

Don't rent a property from this agent at all if you don't want to lose your deposit, they're trying to find a way to scam you, about 3 years I was tenant of them, every year increases rent when you arrange a viewing they turn off their crazy lift and tell viewers lift doesn't work and tenant knows issue of the lift when he rented a property so nothing can do about very slow lift if you use stairs can reach sooner to upper floor than lift, at the end of tenancy we cleaned property well but they're checking every centimeter of flat to find something to blame you and reduce your deposit they charged me £10 for 1 light bulb, £200 for mattress and £120 for cleaning as they said needed to clean more about 2 hours! Mattress wasn't new at the start of tenancy but after 3 years we used because of some stains they charged me £200 to buy a new one! Regarding leak from ceiling my laptop damaged and they didn't take responsibility because they're just thinking about theirselves my advice is don't rent a property from Oyster properties if you do you will lose your deposit as they're find a way to blame you because they're really hungry besides there is an Indian takeaway next Woodfield Court and you smell oil and food all the time with noise so be careful and don't trust them at all!

I got a call since this review from Minal who advised that I lodge a formal complaint with the Ombudsman. When I stated the tenants destroyed my front garden (lawn area) by growing corn and root vegetables on there, without my permission, she informed me that this is allowed? Really, in which country?!
