From our initial valuation meeting with David we were confident that we had made the correct choice of estate agent to manage the sale of our late relative's property. The service we received from all members of staff was excellent, keeping us up to date with prospective viewings via text and email. When we spoke with the lady's in the office they were always friendly and courteous and nothing was too much trouble. This made the whole process extremely smooth and stress free and I would highly recommend to anyone considering using their services. Thank you for all your help.

Bought my house through David James in 2013 and used them again to sell in May 2021 having spoken to 3 local estate agents. Really pleased that we made the decision - people forget that you're not just paying for them to market your house you are paying for years of local knowledge and contacts and for this reason we were able to secure a great selling price on our house. One other estate agent failed to show up for the valuation and the final one (in our opinion) over valued. We felt comfortable straight away with David Radford and his team. Kerry managed to book almost 30 viewings within a week of the house being available meaning after 7 days we have 10 offers and working with them we made a decision who to sell to. David James also managed to find us the perfect house too and we couldn't be happier. The team have been very patient with us as we were pushing to complete before end June 2021 (which we managed by some miracle). I know at times I was a complete pain and I am sure Kerry and our solicitors had a stiff drink following completion. Thanks very much x

She not only helped us by sending a video tour of the property because we couldn’t travel over to view the house in person, but she also answered every single question quickly with a friendly and professional approach. It then took more than 24 hours to get a response (with repeated chasing) on an offer, which is unacceptable, with little or no facilitation on our offer.

We had a viewing on a Saturday, no one lived in the house...we were late about 8-10 mins ( bare in mind with a 2 yrs old ), the agent took ages to open the door as he was already locking up the house, he was in a rush said he had to get to another viewing. He showed us around very quickly, you could feel that he just wanted to rush,lock up and get out! He said we more than welcome to come back again spend more time looking around. No mate, I'm not wasting a second again with you! We had a scheduled viewing and you Kind of kicked us out very quickly.Couple of hours later I receive a txt message from the agent asking me for review/feedback also someone from their Carlton office called and left a voicemail asking how we felt about the house.Maybe try and organise your scheduled reviews with potential customers abit better ,and most definitely don't make them feel unwelcome because you are in a hurry!Terrible service, very unprofessional.

I would thoroughly recommend David James for selling a property. They have been great throughout the process and have been both professional and friendly with all enquiries. David valued my property competitively and managed to get £10k over the asking price. He also helped with negotiations of my purchase with another estate agent and got me a much better price than I expected and I wouldn't have been able to get on my own. Rosemary was wonderful and very friendly and approachable, making sure to keep me updated throughout and making sure she was able to update the buyers with all the relevant information. My purchase was very stressful and took a lot longer than first anticipated (as I mentioned above, with another estate agent) and Rosemary was great at making sure that the buyers of my property were still happy and took a great deal of stress off my shoulders from that side. Thank you to David and Rosemary for all your help!
