Breath-takingly shocking selling experience

This is a genuine review and I am generally not a grumpy, complaining type of person but OMG, avoid trying to sell your house with this company! An absolute dire experience from start to finish (Nov 2024 to End July 2025). The most expensive set of photos I have ever had of our property with poor communication throughout, poor customer experience, let down, mislead and even up-to the week of completion, I cannot even tell you what they did for their money?? The solicitors they recommended were equality as shocking so the house selling and buying process was actually heart- stopingly stressful when it didn’t really have to be. I wish I could give the money to my husband seeing as he seemed to be the one making calls, chasing up forms that should have been filled in or chased up by these so called ‘professional’ estate agents. I actually lost him for the 9 months it has taken for this debarcal of a process to finally come to a conclusion!!

We got there in the end..... sadly the house sale fell through a few times but this was down to buyers! Kerry kept me updated throughout and was always polite and available despite some difficult challenges. Once the right buyer was found the whole process came together and now we are happy sellers and new owners are making their mark on their new property. The phone was always answered promptly and all staff were polite.

I made an offer on a property, and during the viewing, the seller informed me that David James advised her not to accept the first offer. Despite this, she accepted my offer, and I promptly submitted all the requested paperwork. A week passed without any updates, so I inquired about the status. I was informed that they were still waiting for paperwork from the seller. I asked why the property wasn't marked as "sold subject to contract," I was told twice that this would be done immediately, but it never happened. Days later, I received a phone call informing me that the seller had accepted another offer. I can't shake the feeling that they encouraged the seller to keep the property on the market in hopes of getting a higher price. A complete waste of time

Had a viewing arranged for 11:30am at Nottingham NG5 and the agent arrived 30 mins late at 12pm. Wasn’t informed that they was going to be late and had to call multiple times to find out what was happening. When the agent finally arrived she wasen’t as empathetic baring in mind I took some time off work- wasn't the best of viewings- Just left to it. Put me off the property completely.

From our initial valuation meeting with David we were confident that we had made the correct choice of estate agent to manage the sale of our late relative's property.
