All in all, I'm extremely happy with my experience with David James as my estate agent for my house sale, and also the agent of the property which we completed on. Our process took over 18 months to complete with a number of 'bumps in the road' along the way!!! But we finally got moved in to our new house on the 30th June, the last day of the stamp duty holiday! I found the staff at David James, particularly Kerry O'Connor, to be understanding, sympathetic and offering help and support along the whole way. They regularly kept me up to date on the progress of our sale / purchase, even when there was nothing to update on. Great agent, great people and would deffo use again. Kerry O’Connor Three stages to this review! Stage 1 - Initial visits from the senior team for valuation and photos were fantastic, clearly knew what they were doing and were professional throughout. We knew they would be doing visits constantly like this but still felt as though our property mattered and that they would do their best to get a good quick sale for us. Made our house look amazing in the photos :) We dealt with Kerry O'Connor for the arranging visits and receiving offers part, and she was brilliant, friendly, efficient and always called us back within minutes if we had questions. Stage 2 - received and accepted an offer very early on and started the process of solicitor back and forth that every house sale goes through. We were assigned to Natasha for this stage and things slowed down significantly. 6 months after accepting an offer our sale fell though as the buyer pulled out 2 days before completion... very much felt like we were doing the chasing at this point and not that someone was chasing for us. Stage 3 - the house we were buying agreed to give us time to relist to try and resell and were assigned back to Kerry O'Connor again. Everything we thought about her the first time was repeated with no let up of personalised and professional service! Kerry managed to get us a full weekend of viewings at very short notice which resulted in a cash offer that matched the previous offer :) Kerry then kept on top of our all solicitors up and down the chain to make sure we could exchange asap to get completion in before the stamp changes. Happy to give 5 stars simply for Kerry's work alone. can not recommend her enough and wish she had been able to handle the entire process as we always felt in good hands and able to relax (a bit) when she was chasing and updating. Kerry is an asset to the company and the perfect person to handle a sale :)PositiveResponsiveness, Professionalism
