GoogleWe tried to buy a house through Frost Amersham last year that we were really keen on, offering full asking price immediately and increasing our offer by 35K when it went to best and final offers. We were chain free, cash buyers and on friendly terms with them. We were told by the branch manager Gemma Testa that the sellers had accepted a higher offer from another cash buyer. We were gutted but there was nothing we could do. Several months on and we now see from Land Registry records that the property was actually sold for 11K less than our best and final offer. We doubt very much now that our offer was submitted to the sellers, in 'favour' of the people who have ended up buying the property. You have to ask why?? Buying and selling a house is one of the most important decisions in life and you want to be treated with honesty and integrity. We do not feel that we have been treated fairly and honestly. We would not recommend this outfit. There are other reputable estate agents in Amersham if you are thinking of buying or selling.
Dear Beautiful Everyday, I am sorry to read your review, and wholeheartedly wish you had contacted us if you had questions about the house sale before putting your opinions online. Given that you haven’t used your name, or the property address, it was difficult for us to research, but we believe we have the correct details now. The house in question was very popular, receiving 7 offers from interested parties, 6 of which, including yours, were well in excess of the asking price. Such was the market at that time, this was not unusual. You can rest assured that your offer, along with all the others, was put to the seller. It was the seller who made the decision whose offer to accept and we obviously went with their instructions, as their agent. It is, at the end of the day, their choice. The completed sale price was lower than the agreed sale price, for the simple reason that the buyers survey highlighted a significant issue with the property, that resulted in a re-negotiation from the original sale price agreed. This happens quite often after a buyers survey, and had you contacted us directly we would have gladly told you this. Bearing all of the above in mind, we ask you to please remove this review, as we take a pride in our reputation and the Frost name, which has been involved in selling property in The Chilterns for over 100 years.

Jamie Berryman is a Saint! I knew the moment Jamie valued our property I had total faith he would sell our property and give that personal touch through to completion. He is reliable, extremely professional and hardworking, from checking his emails in the evening when things turned stressful. Being 100% honest which in my opinion is a rarity with Estate Agents... He eased the whole experience & is a true credit to The Frost Group. This is our 4th house sale and I wish all agents had the knowledge and calmness Jamie has displayed. GoogleI can’t rate Rachel, Samantha and the team at Oulsnam Bournville highly enough - I would give them ten stars if I could. They did everything that they said they would and more. They sold my home in King’s Norton very quickly while I was going through health problems and a divorce, and were great at communicating with me and my ex-husband throughout. Feedback from viewings was prompt and very helpful. Once the sale was agreed, Samantha kept on top of everything and managed to get us over the various hurdles that accompany any property transaction. I thought that they were incredibly professional, kind and compassionate whilst also absolute experts on the local market. Using a traditional estate agent is most definitely worth it for a stress-free experience, and if you’re selling in King’s Norton/Bournville, these ladies are the very best.

At the end of the rental period, we cleaned the house and left, the house was empty for a few weeks after we left, it may have gotten a little dusty in the meantime, the real estate agent told us that cleaning would be done, we accepted it but they charged us 340 pounds, even for the London area, a very high amount of money for cleaning service. I asked the cleaning company for the invoice for this service, they did not send it. We also left an extension cord, a clothes drying rack and a few items for the next tenant, and I was charged 150 pounds to remove them from the house, I do not find these actions fair at all. An uninterested and unkind real estate office

Severely negative experience with Frost Lettings in Amersham. I’ve seen a property in Amersham town centre and made a competitive offer. The letting agent Karen said she would get back to me the following day but she didn’t. Four days later I enquired whether my offer was submitted to the landlord to which she replied saying the property had already been let to someone else and that she had concerns that I was not be able to pay the rent. I was really surprised to hear this considering that we discussed during the viewing that I’m currently paying the same amount of rent that I offered for the property advertised by Frost, that my bank statements could prove that, I had significant savings accounts and that I could even pay the rent six months in advance. All of this should have been clear indication that I was able to pay the rent I offered. Karen rejected my offer before I could prove with documents that I was actually able to pay the rent I offered. To make things worse she then asked me whether I wanted to see a property that was £425 more expensive than the one she had concerns with regards to my ability to pay the rent for. So if she was so skeptical that I would not be able to pay the rent why did she ask me to see a property whose rent was £425 higher than the one I initially made the offer for?! This makes me believe that my offer was never even shown to the landlord and that she simply gave the property to an acquaintance of hers who made an offer that was lower than mine. I consider Karen’s behaviour to be unprofessional and dishonest both towards me as a potential tenant for denying me the flat although my offer was the highest and towards the landlord for depriving them of a rent that was several hundred pounds higher than the one they accepted.
