After some bad experiences with other estate agents in the past and failing miserably to find another private landlord who ticked the boxes we wanted in a new property rental, I was very cautious about going through an agent. I also had red flags initially around the 'no deposit option' as it was rather confusing at first but Chloe was very patient with me and made sure I had all the information I needed, both verbally and in writing, before we committed to anything. The referencing team responded quickly and overall the customer service and professionalism has been of a very high quality. Thank you Chloe and the team - we can't wait to move in!

I used Romans to let my property when I was a landlord and they were excellent so I decided to use them when the time came to sell. They did not let me down and were superb throughout. Daniel was brilliant from the start with regards to pricing and what to expect. A buyer was found quickly - even though it was a slow market. I had a bad experience with Romans Estate Agents Aldershot . They wasted our time for 6 months till our Mortgage application expired, and we still extended it. We were the one chasing them most of the time with several calls through out the process. They did not give the tenant quit notice on time, and made us quit our own rented accommodation. I will never recommend this estate agent to my enemy, they are so unprofessional. If you want a quick and successful home buying process please avoid this company.

Our experience was horrible. This was not because the buying process failed (which was frustrating). The company seemed to deliberately drag the process over several months, completing inquiries only a few days before the expiration of the initial mortgage offer. The delays were probably motivated by the fact that they also managed the letting side. After we received our mortgage offer from the bank, it took almost a month to get someone at the office to chase the owner for a sales contract. Took about 6 weeks for the sales contract to come through and about 2 months for routine inquiries to be completed. We had inquiry questions such as: "provide the location of the following: mains electricity mains gas mains water " Outstanding for almost 2 months even when Romans managed the letting side and could be expected to easily provide this. Having to chase and call the estate agent almost every other day and sometimes not getting a response was a very mentally draining process.

Holly was very professional friendly polite and answered every question we fired at her. She listened with interest to our needs and came up with positive ideas. If we were to sell this property in the future we would definitely go to Romans. Holly got the best price for the seller and was very fair to us at the same time. All sides got what they wanted. Moving can be very stressful , and the team at Aldershot had everything covered reducing my worries. They gave me a realistic valuation which meant my house sold quickly , where other estate agents gave a hyperinflated price to conjure me onto the market leading to a false sense of security. We brought through Romans and the whole experience was superb. Mainly down to Sasha and her amazing customer service. She always kept us in the loop. Even if I rang up with a stupid question, she would go out of her way to ring the vendor and ask for me. Sasha also rang a week after we had moved to see if we had settled in ok. Only regret I have with the whole move was that we didn’t sell our property through Romans. We had a terrible experience with Bridges and would never use them again. Thank you Sasha & Romans

I had a great experience dealing with Romans in Aldershot from start to finish. I was changing jobs and didn't have any spare time to concentrate on the sale of my property. Romans took care of everything for me, ensuring the house was activeley marketed to its maximum potential. I received regular updates from Holly which kept me in the loop. Holly and the team went above their remit, even visiting the property for me to turn the water off saving me a 120 mile trip. Most importantly, the team managed to find a buyer and help me complete in less than 2 months. Incredible! I would definitely recommend them as 1.) they have a good positive understanding of customer service and 2.) They work the sale for you using a professional approach, rather than just listing your property.

I would like to thank Scott, Sacha and Dan for all of their hardwork and help in selling our property. We had had a bad experience with another local agent and ceased our contract with them and moved the sale of our property over to Romans. This was the best decision my husband and I made. Scott was always open and honest and about the post brexit market with us and this honesty was evident in the way Sacha and Dan conducted themselves, their viewings at our property and when feedbacking back to us. I wouldn't hesitate in recommendimg Romans to anyone thinking of selling their property. There are plenty of chalatans out there and Romans are quite clearly not that. They are a dynamic estate agent that goes that extra mile in seeking out potential quality buyers and promoting our property.

We are forever grateful to Scott and his amazing team at Romans for finding us our dream home. I was worried about putting our house on the market with one of the larger estate agents as I thought it might impact on the personal service, but this could not be further from the truth and above all communication was 10 out of 10. I am so glad we decided to put our house on the market prior to finding our new house as Scott recommended, as we did find our dream house shortly after and with a buyer in our pockets we were in best position. I couldn’t recommend Sasha and Holly highly enough for carrying out all of the viewings on our house with such professionalism. They were extremely friendly and approachable which made us feel at ease and they always called us the same day as the viewing with feedback! When it came to negotiation and securing our buyer, Dan was our man. AVOID AVOID AVOID the rentals side of Romans, especially if you are a student, or the guarantor of one! My child's tenancy started shambolically with the lease being sent to me at 5pm the day before moving day, and then endless phone calls chasing me to sign it, when I had been asking for it for days. Romans were also extremely underhand telling myself and another guarantor that the other had agreed to also be guarantor for the other student who didn't have a a guarantor - it hadn't even been mentioned to us! On moving in, the property was filthy and full of mould - the freezer was still full of food from the previous tenants, even though Romans swore blind it had been professionally cleaned, although the inventory told a different story, when we eventually were given it some weeks later and rated the property poorly. Within a month, the property, which we'd signed a year's lease for, was put up for sale, and the first we knew was when someone came to measure up for a floor plan. No courtesy comm's from Romans to the tenants or guarantors at all to explain the situation. The tenancy has ended, thankfully, but again that was shambolic, unprofessional and illegal, with Romans handing the keys to the new tenants BEFORE our tenancy ended, and before all our possessions had been moved out. It seems that if you are renting as a student, and remember student houses are paying WAY above market rent for the whole property, you are treated as a third class citizen. Or maybe this is just how Romans operate - no professionalism, no communication and not to be trusted. The only positive was that TS stepped in to sort the end of tenancy chaos out quickly where others had failed miserably but even he didn't have the correct end date of the tenancy, so comm's within Romans is clearly an issue too.
