The Farnborough office of this agency was recommended to us by neighbours who had themselves had a very good experience using their services for selling and buying homes. After meeting with Stephen Down, the assistant branch manager at our home, we were convinced they were the right people sell our house. Extremely polite, professional and personable, we felt we could totally trust Stephen.This was enhanced further when Steve Panther, the branch manager came to take the photographs and helped advise on the presentation of our home for viewings.Credit to their professionalism and experience, the property was only on the market a few days before viewings began and it sold within a week! Stephen was excellent at keeping us informed and was invaluable when it came to deciding on the best buyer from several offers for the full asking price they got for us.Throughout the conveyancing process, Stephen has kept fully in touch with our buyers and us and our solicitors and helped us all navigate our way through all the legal processes and things to be done to complete the sale. It was great not being handed over to somebody different to deal with that side of things.I would not hesitate to recommend this team if you are thinking of selling or buying property.

Property Rental Experience

My family had an urgent need to rent a property in Hartley Wintney. One became available but it had a great deal of interest, Andy accommodated us for a viewing at very short notice. We proceeded to rent the property and Andy kept us fully updated along each step of the journey and answered our questions by email or phone, always with a timely response. He made what can sometimes be a long drawn out process, quick and straight forward by providing excellent customer service. I would highly recommend Andy and the Mackenzie Smith team.

Our house had been on the market the year before with another estate agent and we had no luck in finding a buyer . Tom and Ali knocked on the door offering their services at Mackenzie Smith promising to be able to get us a buyer at a good price. Though I was sceptical of this tactic, we decided to give it a go and I’m delighted we did. Within a couple of weeks of it being on the market they found us an excellent buyer at a price we were happy with. Tom was incredibly helpful and clear throughout the process and was there to help whenever we needed it. We finally found an estate agent we could trust! Calls and emails were always responded to very quickly and honestly. From start to finish, Tom provided us the very best service we could hope for and I would have no hesitation in recommending MacKenzie Smith to anyone needing an estate agent.

First Time Buyers

As first time buyers, I can honestly say we had a very pleasant and positive experience with Mackenzie Smith estate agents. From the very beginning I received regular phone calls and emails from our estate agent Stephen, to ensure we were always kept up to date and on the same page. If anything needed doing Stephen was on it as soon as possible, especially when it came down chasing our solicitors. Mark at Hartley Wintney Mackenzie Smith…

Mark at Hartley Wintney Mackenzie Smith was our vendor's agent (we unfortunately had already signed into a deal with another H-W agency before meeting with Mark) and he has completely put my faith back into estate agents. I have never before received such a thoughtful, informative and reassuring service (and we weren't the ones paying him!). We had quite a difficult chain with many bumps along the road but Mark was a calming influence and did all the chasing for us (unlike our own estate agent who did the bare minimum). I cannot recommend the team at H-W enough - if we ever move again, Mark is the first person I will get in touch with. My only regret is that we couldn't swap agents once signed to another so we could use Mackenzie Smith instead. Thank you again Mark!

Tom and his team in the Aldershot branch were outstanding and my husband and I are extremely grateful for thier support throughout the whole process of moving home. A home we had raised our family in, so an incredibly hard decision. Our sale was handled by 3 different agents over the course of a year, all of which were knowledgeable about the area and the market, in particular in the latter stages of exchange/completion Steve was helpful in getting the chain aligned. The photos and advert showed the property at its best, and their fixed fee was reasonable and meant we could budget accurately. I would use them again.

We received speculative contact from…

We received speculative contact from Gary about 4 years before we finally sold, after applying for planning permission on our business premises. We decided to use Mackenzie Smith to find a land buyer from their developer database as well as use their marketing facilities, and after a 2 or 3 aborted sales plus several generated offers that weren't acceptable, we finally sold. The final sale process was challenging to say the least with the buyer, but Gary and Katherine kept the process going throughout before reaching the conclusion at completion. It was a pleasure dealing with Mackenzie Smith and I would use them again.

Our good experience with Mackenzie Smith

My sister and I were very impressed when we first met Nick and he came armed with many comparable properties with guide price etc and advised us on the price he felt we should be marketing our property.Nick kept us updated following viewings and secured us a several good offers.
