GoogleWright and Co were the managing agents of my rental property for 16 years and today they have overseen the completion of the sale of what was previously my rental property. Good tenants were always found quickly and a buyer was found promptly, despite market conditions not being ideal at the time. They have always been friendly, highly professional and knowledgeable with any queires answered very quickly. On several occasions they have gone above and beyond my expectations. I would not hesitate to recommend Wright and Co for managing rental properties or as agents in selling a property.

GoogleWright Residential were a dream to deal with over the last 3 years while I rented my flat out. They were quick to get in touch with any problems and always were very proactive in resolving any issues to ensure the tenant's were happy. Wright Residential provided a comprehensive monthly statement with itemised expenses and detailed invoices covering any works done. These repairs, works undertaken or items purchased always seemed very reasonable and fair and their transparency was second to none. I would highly recommend Wrights Residential for managing a property and made my life so much easier compared to previous managing agencies I had dealt with.

GoogleBeen calling the office line for nearly 4 hours. No answer. Just went past the estate agent , staff just sat looking at there mobile phones. Went into there office with my phone still ringing there landline, surprise surprise, phones were ringing but no one was answering there landline. What a joke. Won't be dealing with these lot that's for sure. It does apply to this chillingam road agency! Customers like ourselves do not appreciate when businesses like yourself lie or call customers liars. People deserve to know the truth and therefore this comment will remain. 4 hours, not a single person picked up a call nor responded back to the call. Instead have the curtesy to help your customers. Your message shows the lack of help.
It is certainly not our office you have been calling or been into today as our staff are not based in the office on a Saturday but our Phone lines are open 9am-2pm! We would be grateful if you could remove this review as it does not apply to our agency, thank you No one is calling anyone a liar merely that our office was closed with no staff inside so it could not have been our office you entered as stated

GoogleI am writing this review to give my genuine opinion from my side. I had a very bad experience during my stay at Newcastle as a tenant. They are not transparent. Discuss twice while paying your deposit, they charged me 500£ for some nonsense issues while handing over property to them. They are very lazy on your issue if you report through their portal, need to follow up on call. During viewing you will not have any chance to see any issues in property, while handing over they will charge you for that issue. In my case one of the window was not sealed properly and I need to put insulation tape to seal it during winter, they charged me for the removal of that small tape. There are a lot of such examples to write. They will not let you connect with the landlord directly.

We do not consider you burning the middle of the dining room carpet with a significant circular mark a minor detail along with cleaning issues and gardening issues all of which could have been handled by you before you vacated. The window you mentioned has been double checked by a double glazing contractor and is fitted correctly. We are sorry that you where not satisfied with our services and are somewhat surprised that you then recommended to the house and us as the agent to your friend who now lives there. We are very happy with our new house and are extremely happy that we went through this process with Wright and Co in Sawbridgeworth. Highly recommend this company! GoogleAvoid Renting, Purchasing was fine. We have both rented and bought a house through Wright & Co. On the rentals side, staff are friendly but it was extremely difficult trying to get repairs or maintenance. Emails were ignored without a reply, and we had to chase things up repeatedly. This left us with problems left unaddressed for months. They also failed to reign in or advise the unproffessional landlord of the Market House. He tried to demand excessive deposit deductions. This eventually went to the Tenancy Dispute scheme, which sided in our favour. Purchasing was fine though, everyone was friendly and proffessional.

GoogleFantastic Service We had the pleasure of recently moving home with Wright & Co Rentals based in Sawbridgeworth. Moving home can be stressful enough, but due to the support given by Chris on the rentals team, things went so smoothly. His attention to detail and knowledge around the finer points of renting were exceptional. We would highly recommend Wright & Co for renting and buying, they add such a personal touch to the whole process and we even received a call from Chris to make sure we had settled in ok. 😃 A visit to the offices in Sawbridgeworth is a pleasure too as they welcomed us and made us feel very comfortable.

He was amazing from start to finish, always responding to emails promptly and available for a chat on the phone, he was also very patient with us when house searching and booking viewings. GoogleI moved out of a flat I was renting through Wright and Co over a month ago and they are holding my deposit hostage without any explanation. There is now another tenant in the property and I still haven't had my deposit back or an indication as to when I will get it. This is a very disappointing experience as I paid my rent on time every month and left the flat in very good condition. I try not to post negative reviews but after trying several times to talk directly to someone at wright and co about my deposit and getting fobbed off each time, I decided to voice my frustration here. I wouldn't have been able to set foot in the property without first paying my deposit so I'm not sure why it's ok to keep it from me once I've left, all while renting the property to someone else.
