GoogleWe (myself,spouse and 6 yr daughter) moved from India to UK for new Job oppertunity, we stayed in service apartment and it costs around 140 per day. we were in very critical situation in terms of finance and accomodation. We approached Woodlands lettings for rent house, and one of the Property Assesor Dani Egglestone understood our situation helped a lot during our house search. and she is very helpful and we could easily approach over phone/email for any clarifications/issues. I would recommand woodland lettings to my friends for any lettings.

GoogleI had terrible experience renting with Woodlands. They just want your money. If you fell into the trap and started renting with them make sure you take pictures of the property straight away so you have the evidence when you check out. They will try to extort money from you. Avoid it at all costs. Thank me later. Update: Wednesday 21st July Mr Tom, I am very sorry that my review disappointed you, however Woodlands tried to extort money from me by making fraudulent claims. Luckily I had pictures of the property before I moved in and proved that the claims were false. I got my deposit back through the tenancy deposit scheme, however I spent a lot of time to prove that the claims were false. The time I could have spent with my family, not writing emails hours and hours and not arguing with rude stuff.NegativeResponsiveness, Quality, Professionalism, Value

I am disappointed to read this review. It speaks volumes that you have not got a name to add to your review. Your accusations are most likely factually incorrect. The deposit is not controlled by Woodlands. We merely facilitate its return at the close of a tenancy. If there were any disputes over how much was to be deducted then you are always welcome to approach the Tenants Deposit Scheme for their adjudication in the matter. If by “they just want your money” you mean we collect the rent, then yes you have an obligation to pay rent. Aside from that I cannot see what money Woodlands have taken from you. Unless you are willing to contact us to resolve this matter in a professional manner please do not make sweeping accusations without at least taking ownership of your own words. Sam Arnold was always quick to respond, help us out and the make the whole process as easy and quick as possible. Wish we used them to begin with. Would recommend over other estate agents so far!

GoogleI had the pleasure of dealing with Dani from the Redhill office to get the flat for me to rent. She was very understanding and forthcoming to my circumstances and it felt like she really cared.
