We went to the Weldon Manor sales office and had discussed buying a property, the Sales Exec Odette marked the plot on a map with an X and gave the map to us to keep. When she later sent over the Reservation Agreement it contained a lot of errors and typos, and the plot number was different to what she had marked on the map. Figuring this could also be a typo we asked her to ring us to clarify which plot it would be. She opened the call by saying she didn’t know how we’d got the numbers mixed up, which seemed very defensive. When we responded that she had told us a different plot number and marked it on the map herself, she said ‘well I’ve cancelled it now anyway’. We hadn’t said that we wanted to cancel, we only said we wanted to clarify the plot number, so we were quite disappointed. Overall her behaviour was quite erratic and concerning.
