Don't buy off taylor wimpey!!!!

The fitters turned up at 8.30 10.00 waiting on symphony guy at 11 at 12.05 I walked round to the local tescos to get my nephew as his mate something to eat asking the other 3 guys who I don't no but I am. Not that type of person only for 1 of them to say yes on returning there was an elderly looking guy approaching the van he started to tell the guys what they are going to do as said I am the client and I tell you what's going to happen which had been agreed with survivor on previous visit he told me no he had spoken with the supervisor and this is what's happening as you can appreciate this is the 5 th time I told the guy its done my way or not at all he didn't like it and left also he walk straight into.my property before I was back from tescos on his own I think that is unacceptable not even with one of the other guys I had met he walk striaght past them not even speaking before entering my house I expect something to be done about this and a apology for the way he conducted himself very poor representative from symphony I was going to carry out some of the work myself but after today taylor wimpey can get it all done I have emptied the units which needed emptying to now having to put it all back with nothing done I have my 89 year old mum who lives with me who now is going to have her dinner upstairs as the table is covered no were to sit I think its only right that taylor wimpey compensate me as the frustration and stress it has caused me is wrong Yours Gary Cubberley

Do not buy from this money grabbing house builder. Visit the Scholar Chase site in north Bristol to see how they leave an estate once they have sold all the houses. Last house was purchase was completed over 18 months ago and there are still no roads or completed landscaping

Purchase of Taylor Whimpey House. Ladden Garden Village Yate.

Having looked around for a new build to move to we came across Taylor Whimpey at Ladden Garden Village Yate Bristol.From the moment we entered the Sales Office we were put at ease by Kath ,Sam and Shannon.Having looked for a detached house we looked at the 4 Bedroom Town house, which we fell in love with.We then went on numerous occasions to make sure this is what we required Always welcome at the Sales OfficeWe then decided that this was right for us and proceeded to purchase the property having sold our own property. We are now waiting for the property to be finished.So far so good ,very helpful through the process, nothing is too much trouble.

Buyer Beware

Very unhelpful, when we bought our new home 19 years ago, there were missing soakaway in the back garden, the floorboards were nailed instead of screwed so very squeaky, and there were no expansion joints in a block of 4 town houses, so we had to have a series of wall ties put in after completion. We realised their attention to detail was lacking, but never realised they had put our external fibre connection box behind the facia pillastra of our front door, so when the engineer came, he couldn't connect. They had no interest when I called, so I guess it's up to us to pay to resolve their mistake. Buyer Beware, nearly all the errors we found were hidden, and if we were not previously from the building industry, we may never have found the original mistakes/omissions that would have proved much more expensive to correct once the nhbc had expired.

Emma deserves 5 stars

Emma deserves 5 stars. We have been in our new home for nearly 2 years. During that time there has been a few reported issues which have been resolved quickly. Recently there was an accident at home and I emailed TW Customer Services looking for a bit of support to see if there was anything they could do. Emma called, we had a chat, and she gave us the best news possible and has exceeded our expectations as the issue will be fully resolved by TW. We cannot thank Emma enough for being a TW employee who goes above and beyond. Excellent customer service.

Absolutely shocking we reported broken glass in the grassed area outside our property after numerous punctures we reported it and nothing was done we then ended up with a vets bill after our dog stood in some.The area outside our home looks terrible 4ft of weeds and a half finished play park if you can call it thatRoads dug up without warning raised drains everywhere it’s a eye sore We recently carried out work in our garden when the digging began the workmen hit the electrical cable which was barely underground and knocked off the electric absolutely nothing there to warn or protect the cable again we reported it nothing done again surprise.

Dishonest and disinterested

When you think your experience with TW can't get any worse, somehow they manage it. We've been consistently lied to, ignored and fobbed off by the after sales staff in their contact centre and their manager. Asking a direct question never gets a direct answer, any uncomfortable questions are simply ignored. Issues are closed on Touchpoint with no resolution regularly and the staff on the phone cant give you an answer why youve got to phone up for the umpteenth time. We know people who have bought TW houses in other areas so the problems may be just in the NE business area.
