GoogleJamie, Allison and the team were absolutely fantastic - they went above and beyond to get us through the process, despite numerous hurdles with breaks in the chain, land registry and nearly 11 months of back and forth with solicitors. The team couldn’t have done more for us and were incredible from start to finish! We couldn’t have done it without them. Thanks so much!

GoogleWe had a fantastic experience with the Property Centre. Jamie, who was recommended to us, was incredible from day one. He managed to sell our house within a week and achieved a brilliant price. He was always quick to respond, clear in his advice, and genuinely welcoming. Alison then handled the sale and was equally brilliant, steering us through some tricky moments with the buyers solicitors with calm and professionalism

GoogleOur initial meeting with Rebecca was very positive. The team were efficient, proactive and extremely helpful in getting our home prepared and sold before it had even officially gone on the market. Unfortunately, once the sale was agreed, our experience changed significantly. Communication became very poor, and we often felt that we were left chasing for updates rather than being kept informed. There were occasions where communication between the sales team and our onward purchase team appeared to break down, and our Sales Progressor, Susan, did not provide the level of support or urgency we expected when progressing the sale. Despite being in a very straightforward two-person chain, with first-time buyers purchasing our property, every decision seemed to take around two weeks to move forward. We were regularly left waiting for answers while little appeared to be happening. We later found out through our onward purchase team that Susan had moved offices and that someone else would be taking over our sale, which added further uncertainty. Things became particularly difficult when our buyers began requesting price reductions. Rather than feeling supported in negotiations, we were advised by John to accept whatever was put forward to keep the sale moving, with the suggestion that we would recover the cost on our new home. This left us feeling that the compromise and pressure fell entirely on us, rather than there being a balanced negotiation. Over the six months it took to complete, we spent a considerable amount of time chasing for updates and were frequently told there was little or no progress to report. We never felt that our buyers were being encouraged to move things along, and ultimately felt that we were carrying the responsibility for progressing the sale. We did eventually complete, but only after reducing the price of our property by £15,000. It is disappointing because our initial experience with the team was so positive, but the lack of communication and support during the sales process overshadowed this. Sadly, our overall impression was that the team were more focused on supporting the buyers rather than representing our interests as the sellers.

Whilst our dedicated Sales Progressors do their utmost to move sales forward, things are sometimes beyond their control. Severe delays in obtaining responses from solicitors and surveyors can often hinder progress, which we understand can be frustrating. Similarly, unforeseen issues raised in a buyer’s structural survey can often lead to a further revised offer. Our team worked hard to negotiate with your onward new build to mitigate the impact of that reduction and endeavoured to communicate with you at every stage. She informed of everything I wanted to know and questions I asked were answered. A lovely lady I really enjoyed meeting her.

GoogleBarney Jackson and the team at the Cheltenham branch of The Property Centre have been phenomenal in handling the sale of my property. There have been no surprises as everything was fully explained to me from the outset. Their communication cannot be faulted. I was kept up to date with all viewings and progress on the sale with any questions I had being answered fully and in a timely manner. Their liaison with my solicitor and the buyer and agent has been excellent. I would have no hesitation in recommending them to anyone and have already engaged them for my next sale.

GoogleI’ve recently started viewing properties with Property Centre Stroud and have been really impressed so far. A special mention to Jamie Dyer, who has been friendly, knowledgeable and easy to deal with throughout. He has been happy to answer questions, never made me feel pressured and has made the whole viewing process straightforward. As a first time buyer, it’s been great dealing with someone who takes the time to help and explain things properly. Looking forward to continuing my search with Property Centre Stroud. Would definitely recommend based on my experience so far.
