TrustpilotA special shoutout to Heather Mason
A special shoutout to Heather Mason, who was absolutely exceptional. During a contentious transaction she was professional, courteous and always willing to chase where needed. The team at the St John’s branch who helped with marketing the property and the viewings (including James, Georgie and Dan) were all incredibly professional and friendly and helped me achieve the best price for my property. I would have absolutely no hesitancy at all in recommending The Property Centre ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

TrustpilotDo not use
Used property centre for 2 purchases and as a managing agent since 2019 (7 years) so I have experience with this company.
I have no idea what changed but they decided to operate like cowboy builders a tiny issue with the property and they sent out what I can only imagine is the most expensive drawer repairer in the world - on complaint they decided their customer service would be to tell me to f off it is what it is. Thus proving they do not manage anything.
If you are thinking of renting through them remember this affects you also as they rip off the landlords it works it way into you rent.
Horrible experience after all this time is very disappointing.
Edit: their response is a complete lie they do not help their landlords they still haven't tried to do anything about this their customer service is poor

We are sorry to hear you’re unhappy with our service, especially in light of the good working relationship we have had with you over the last 7 years. Please be assured that it is never our intention to recommend or arrange works that are unnecessarily expensive, nor do we seek to have works carried out at a cost that is not in our landlords' best interests. We add no mark-up to any contractor quotes and we only obtain quotations from reputable contractors and present these to landlords for consideration, but the decision on whether to proceed always remains with the landlord. Above all, our intention is only ever to support our landlords and manage their properties fairly, professionally and in good faith.

FacebookI genuinely do not understand how this company can call itself award-winning. If this is the standard that wins awards, then the bar must be underground.
The property I am currently in has been allowed to deteriorate into an absolutely disgraceful state. Over the past three years, I have reported 62 separate issues. Out of those, a grand total of 8 have been fixed. Eight. That alone should tell you everything you need to know.
We have had a leak ongoing for over two years that they have repeatedly failed to resolve. As a result, cupboards have collapsed, floors have suffered serious water damage, and the property has been left to rot literally. There is rotting, unstable decking, loose window frames, and window seals completely gone, making the property cold, damp, and inefficient.
The front door is broken. The front door handle is broken. The alarm system is broken. The intercom system was removed entirely because it was deemed dangerous and never replaced. Condensation issues are constant and severe. And that’s just scratching the surface.
They had the audacity to claim the EPC rating was a B. I didn’t believe them, so I paid for an independent EPC assessment. The real rating? F. I can only assume their EPC certificate came out of a lucky bag.
Property “inspections” used to involve someone walking in, glancing at two rooms, and then leaving. They never asked questions. They never looked properly. They clearly did not care. I stopped reporting issues during visits because it was obvious it made no difference whatsoever.
I actually feel sorry for the landlord. There were issues when we moved in, yes, but due to this company’s complete negligence, the property is now in a desperate and shocking state of disrepair. If I were the landlord and saw what had been allowed to happen, I would hit the roof.
To make matters worse, the property is now being sold, and it’s painfully clear that the sales team and lettings team do not communicate at all. It’s chaos, disorganised, and unprofessional.
This company is utterly useless, incompetent, and frankly feels like a liability to both tenants and landlords. I cannot imagine the amount of damage they must be causing to landlords’ investments through sheer neglect and mismanagement.
Avoid at all costs.

TrustpilotAwful, unprofessional & uncaring service
Awful, unprofessional service with incompetent staff. Key details were repeatedly mishandled, leading to delays and financial loss on our part. The agent refused to take any responsibility and refused to release us from their contract, effectively trapping us in an agreement while they were at fault.
A professional, well-respected agent should act in the best interest of their client, but in this case, the opposite happened. We felt ignored, misled and financially impacted by their lack of care, knowledge and accountability.
I would strongly advise others to think twice about using the Property Centre in Gloucester. There are much better services available.

TrustpilotMark Holford is an aggressively pushy…
Mark Holford is an aggressively pushy EA, very off putting and wouldn't shut up trying too hard to sell a property even when confronted about it. Mate, I can see the stairs have carpet, you don't need to tell me.
Dawn Meikle is cold, blunt and unpersonable, stopped talking to me, nor put anything in writing for the duration of the sale after picking up on a communication breakdown that had a major effect on our sale timeline.
Last agent, no idea of her name just spent the entire viewing making weird comments about the property, making stupid giggles and seemed perplexed that we were going to live in the house.
There was an agent who did our second viewing, only does Saturdays but was by and far the best one we had, honest, let us get on with what we needed, obviously had an I.Q. above room temperature too.
Wouldn't use to sell, won't buy another property marketed by them. There's a reason why you regularly see sold signs with the property centre become for sale signs from another EA.

TrustpilotWouldn't choose any other estate agent than the property centre
Amazing experience going with the property centre. We dealt with Simon Robinson who worked so hard in selling our house. Simon was always very polite and lovely to deal with. Simon showed total respect to our home and always saw to it that buyers removed their shoes.
Simon communicated regularly with us and sold our property within 2 weeks for a price we were happy with.
Thank you Simon it has been a total pleasure.

TrustpilotThe Property centre in Quedgeley…
The Property centre in Quedgeley marketed a 4 property which clearly stated that the property had no onward chain. This suited us perfectly as we were looking to make a quick purchase. We offered 2K over the asking price to ensure that we would be able to acquire.
When we got close to completion, and after spending money on surveys and solicitors fees it turns out that the property did indeed have a chain. The Property Centre then casually dropped this into a conversation about 2 weeks before completion and stated that the seller would vacate whether their purchase was ready or not. Unfortunately this was never the intention and a no chain purchase would have ended up taking at least 8 months.
This of course completely ruined our plans and has no doubt had a horrible effect on the poor folks attempting to buy our house who have given notice on their rental property.
AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE IF YOU REQUIRE HONEST AND UPFRONT AGENTS.
BE WARY OF BOGUS NO CHAIN CLAIMS
AT BEST THIS WILL END UP COSTING YOU A FORTUNE IN FEES AND SURVEYS.
AT WORST YOU COULD END UP HOMELESS AS A RESULT OF SHADY DEALINGS.
I would like to add that the Sales Progressor has been as helpful as possible, but has been hung out by the idiots above who are never available for any sort of discussion.

A researched a couple of properties and requested a viewing I also stated my circumstances moving day and price availability.. With that I have received a generic email requests in the information I had already sent realize that my original message hadn't been acknowledged correctly I contacted BPC to request a callback to discuss the options I spoke to an individual by the name of Paris who told me to fill out the emails when I stated that I did not want to fill out the emails and I would like to speak to an agent she stated that the agent wasn't available and she was not going to arrange a call because she did not like the way I came across on the phone I asked if the call was recorded She responded no and disconnected the line I wasn't rude nor was my tone off I made a simple request I've only just started looking for a property but this is by far the worst interaction I've had.. I've also come to realise the individual in question is also the manager of BPC this individual was unable to give me any information regarding the property or able to arrange a call back for one of her colleagues from what I could tell she was more concerned with going on her lunch and I will be making this into a formal complaint

TrustpilotSellers avoid OLIVER DAVIS!!!…may get a call from PVT no. to HARASS you!!!
SELLERS.. avoid OLIVER DAVIS in this company. I regret to inform you about a disappointing experience I had with one of your representatives, OLIVER. It appears that sellers should avoid dealing with Oliver, given the lackluster service I received. When I expressed interest in viewing a property, Oliver refused to accommodate my request, citing my previous viewings without any purchases.
It is deeply concerning that an Estate Agent would make such a judgment WITHOUT CONSULTING the client. The insinuation that I should part with my hard-earned money for properties that do not meet my criteria is not only unreasonable but also unprofessional. As a client, I expect to be treated with respect and to have my preferences considered.
This experience has left a NEGATIVE IMPRESSION, and I hope necessary actions will be taken to address this issue.
UPDATES AFTER MY INITAL FEEDBACK HERE:
After I posted my initial feedback, OLIVER contacted me from a PRIVATE no. and HARASSED me about my reviews!!! This raises a significant concern: does GDPR permit the use of business databases to harass individuals when no business transaction is taking place?
Oliver made FALSE allegations during the call, claiming that we didn't provide a Decision in Principle (DIP), didn't show bank balances, and didn't turn up for appointments. I challenged these accusations, asking for evidence, as they are entirely untrue. If your agent fails to show up or arrives late, it is unreasonable to expect clients to wait indefinitely, especially those with other commitments like children. In the professional world, respecting others' time means informing them of delays or cancellations in advance. We expected the same courtesy.
If you were truly PROFESSIONAL, you would not have called from a PRIVATE no.. Instead, you would have APOLOGISED for the misunderstanding and asked for the necessary documents to proceed with the viewing. However, your ARROGANCE and ego overshadowed your professionalism, and you decided not to show the property we were keen on, which raises questions about your CONTRACT with the SELLER. Personally....We would not want to work with such an ESTATE AGENT.
It seems you had nothing better to do than to HARASS me from a PRIVATE no.. Please remember that other people have businesses to run, especially when you have already decided not to continue business with them. Hence why I HAD TO CUT his call!!!
WARNING: Beware, people! If you provide feedback they don't like, they will call you from a private number and harass you.

TrustpilotAbysmal communications
Abysmal communications, poor service and prepared to waste the time of purchasers so think twice before listing your property. I made an appointment to view a property over a week a go, the agent gave me the time and day. I had a phone call in the morning to confirm I was attending. "oh yes". I arrived 20 minutes before the allotted time and left 20 minutes after, having travelled an hour to get there. No phone call, no apologies, no text. Richard Dey was supposed to be the accompanying agent - well, all I can say, anyone advertising their investment for sale with this agent will not get the service they deserve if that's anything to go by and I for one, will not have any dealings with them going forward

TrustpilotWorcester
To start with, I had a very positive experience. However, this did not last.
Their screening process is very lacking and means that the Estate Agents ended up wasting the seller's, my, time with bogus offers if they couldn't afford the mortgage.
After 4 offers fell through, 5 seemed to be the charm. However, by this point I felt like I was no longer their priority on the sale.
On the last few days I was threatened with Breach Of Contract rather than having it discussed and then had no communication with them on the day of except a text at 3.01pm to say:
'Hi Victoria,
Congratulations on completion of Chedworth Drive. Buyer is on the way to collect keys now.
Many thanks, Liam'
According to the Branch Manger this is enough communication because they didn't feel the need to tell me when and that they had received the keys I posted the night before.
I feel that this company needs to remember that there are two sides to a sale and I was the one that paid their bill.

TrustpilotThe Property Centre - Quedgeley Branch (Head Office)
If you are renting a property, please doing so through TPC. I rented a flat through them for a few months and it was honestly the worst experience. Although I rented in Cheltenham, I had to deal with the Head Office branch for any maintenance issues and they were shocking with their response times or generally just fobbing me off. There is a particular woman Tracey Atkins Nash who can be quite blunt over email or phone calls. They never seem in a hurry to chase any queries up for tenants. I vacated the property nearly 2 weeks ago due to the endless shabby state of the flat and the noisy neighbours and not feeling safe. I left the flat in a far better condition than what I found it and I am still waiting for my deposit back. I have had to call and email numerous times and I just get told that they have emailed the landlord......it's been 2 weeks!! TPC should be chasing the landlord via phone for him to get his act together to return tenants deposit. I would never rent through The Property Centre again! They also don't like it when you call them out on their bad customer service.
This is just my renting experience with them.
I'm sure if you were selling or buying a house from them, they'd be a lot nicer.

TrustpilotRecently sold our house through PC...
Recently sold our house through Property Centre and we were very happy with the level of service and attention we received from the Stroud Branch. Jame Dyer initially came to view the house as we were planning on renting it out for a while after we moved abroad, once abroad we changed our minds and decided to sell. Easy pease since Jamie already had all the necessary details to sell instead.
Through no fault of PC the initial sale fell through, but they found us another buyer in this current hostile house selling environment and we were successful second time round.
Overall we were very happy with how we were looked after and how they kept us informed. If anything did require a nudge, Jamie or Allison were prompt to get back to us.
Having had varying experiences with Estate Agents in the area over the years, we certainly wouldn't hesitate to recommend Property Centre Stroud to sell or let your home.

TrustpilotWe have just completed a one-year…
We have just completed a one-year tenancy with Property Centre, and unfortunately, my experience has been deeply disappointing. Throughout the tenancy, it became clear that they consistently took the landlord’s side in every situation, showing little to no regard for the tenant’s rights or concerns.
Whenever issues arose, my perspective was dismissed, and I often felt treated unfairly. Communication was one-sided, they acted more like the landlord’s personal representatives rather than impartial agents. By the end of the tenancy, they appeared determined to find any excuse to withhold my deposit, even for matters that were clearly normal wear and tear.
This behaviour left me feeling discriminated against and unsupported throughout my stay. Renting should be a fair and transparent process, but my experience with Property Centre was the exact opposite. I would strongly advise potential tenants to proceed with extreme caution.

TrustpilotAfter a good start to our experience in…
After a good start to our experience in terms of selling our house it quickly went downhill. Trying to get accurate updates and a proactive approach to contacting relevant parties in our sale was very, very difficult to the point that my wife had to undertake this task on a daily basis. Constantly fobbed off and no real drive to support - we ended up giving them updates, which is surely wrong based on how much they were being paid. On the day of our move we had issues with the banking system, which caused some major stresses. They did not seem that bothered or willing to help. Again, we took it upon ourselves to try and sort, with the Estate Agent of the house we were buying driving things forward. If fact, our lead contacts at the Property Centre disappeared for the afternoon when we needed them most. I would strongly recommend avoiding the marketing and sales tactics they adopt, as you will end up very, very disappointed at the end of your experience.
