FacebookWe were lucky enough to buy and sell through Temme English in Colchester in November 2021. We bought our last house through them and knew it would be them who we would trust to sell it on. And we were certainly not disappointed. The service is absolutely brilliant and all team members play their part but Rachel goes above and beyond to ensure that things run as smoothly as they can.

Unfortunately after 3 failed attempts and 4 months of wasted time resulting in no house sale. Temme English decide to lock me in for further disappointment telling me I cannot stop using them for a further 21days. Read your contract throughly the sales team do not inform you about critical contract terms. Think twice before using.

I have been the buyer dealing with a sale handled by temme english, and must say after dealing with them I am shocked at how they operate. If I have to sell a property I would avoid them at all costs, as they make the entire process extremely negative. Throughout the process they have hounded, pressured me and provided false information. They seem fully unrepentant due to mistakes and false information they have given, and try and leverage it as if it is your fault. I would highly dissuade anyone from using them.

From the moment Jamie came for the valuation they were all very approachable and friendly whilst remaining professional, honest and efficient. Thank you to Bob for showing 20 people around the first weekend that the house was on the market and for getting the sale that day. Throughout the process Rosanna and Nicola shared my excitement (and sometimes exasperation)! They went out of their way to liaise between all parties and were always there to respond to any of my queries in and out of office hours. I will miss talking to you both! Thank you for the human touch. My daughter and Son in Law and two of my friends have also used them in the recent past and have nothing but praise for the way their sales were handled. GoogleWhere do i start Temme English recommended solicitors that nearly lost the sale of my property. The whole process was stressful completely took the fun and excitement out of buying my first property all caused by Temme English but they don't care they got their commission at the end of the day. Temme English didn't even have the decency to take the sold sign out of my front garden or even a curtesy follow up call. I would definitely not recommend to purchase a property through them absolutely awful experience from start to finish. After publishing my fair and reflective review i have just had a phone call from Carl Temme. He said that im childish, i need to grow up, he brung my son into it questioning my parenting when he doesn't even know me and saying with my line of work i should be a man. He's already put a response on here why would he ever need to contact me on my personal number, which i have proof that he's done so. Infact he needs to grow up what man brings an innocent child into a review of his embarrassing and unprofessional company, he personally attacks customers that say something he doesn't agree with absolute joke of a man. I'd think very hard about using this company and lining the pockets of a man that says disgusting things about people's childen. Conversation was recorded by my girlfriend as you were on loud speaker can send it to the Colchester gazette if your going to try and make me out the be a liar.NegativeResponsiveness, Quality, Professionalism, Value
Alan, I’m not really sure what going on here. Yes, I called you to ask why you left the review. We spoke 30-40 times through the buying process, I cc’d you into emails escalating the dis-satiation you and I both had with the solicitor. You never mentioned how upset you were with Temme English? I do think this is a strange reaction and to say I said ‘Disgusting things’ about children is just a bit odd.

GoogleIn the current climate I was sceptical about putting my property on the market. However Mitchell Morrisson at temme English provided the service like no other. After my property going on the market I quickly received 12 and off those 12 viewings I received 6 offers and achieved 20 grand over my asking price. I would strongly recommend Mitchell Morrisson at temme English.
