GoogleWe currently rent a property but are in the middle of moving so it is back on the market, I do completely understand how you want a new tenant in the flat ASAP however it’s disrespectful how you’ve disregarded that we do still live here and constantly book viewings back to back nearly every day. I called up and cancelled some because I do work night shifts now with my new job so I’m sleeping during the day but after cancelling some viewings you proceeded to then book more viewings on the same day after agreeing to cancel them for me a few days prior and I can’t call in because I was yet again asleep due to my work so I didn’t see it in time to cancel and the viewing is at 9 AM when you open, also when we moved in we had a few complaints since the fire doors didn’t shut properly the SINGLE glazed windows are rotting and definitely need redoing. There’s no fire escape and we live on the top floor I get it’s probably also the landlords choice to fix these things but all we got in return is ‘if we fix it the rent will go up’ or one of the maintenance managers did tell us we’d have to just ‘jump’ out the 3rd floor window if there was a fire or we’d hopefully have time to get out from the front door.. this whole thing was disappointing I don’t usually leave reviews because I find it childish but this whole experience has been horrible, I understand how you’re going to diminish this review and have an answer towards this but I don’t think anyone would be pleased by what’s going on.
Dear Poppi, Thank you for getting in touch. We have discussed with the Lettings department and as far as we understand, all viewings that you have asked to be moved have been moved. We have also spoken to your mother this morning and we will move all viewings that are booked in before you move out to help as much as we can. As you say, we do have a responsibility to our landlord to re-let the property and as per your contract we should be permitted access with 24hrs notice or more, to conduct viewings. We always try to be as accommodating as possible with our tenants as well as fulfilling our responsibility to our landlords. Regarding the other points you have raised, the landlord instructs regular fire risk assessments to make sure the property complies with current regulations, the most recent of which was done in December 2023. We have a completed works order on our system from one of our trusted contractors for the repair of the window. We will look into this as your comments suggest this has not been repaired. We trust this answers all your queries but if you would like to discuss anything further, please feel free to give us call.

Stephensons must genuinely be the worst, uneducated, inexperienced estate agents in the north. They misrepresented the property, they were dishonest, very unprofessional and just inadequate with communications. The service is just so awful, and their bullying tactics so blatant, that we had to pull out of the purchase.

GoogleThis agent tells lies nick key was on a full recorded call with me telling lies not going back with a revised offer after the property has issue ie 183 Hookstone chase claw back issue freehold issue nick was also rude when I stated I will complain to the other directors his remark said try it it will only come to me and the others will not be bothered I have made calls direct to double check he was telling lies Helen is the best member of staff there and this lady saved the sale months ago as there is also another lady there that is so rude I would not recommend this agent in knarsbrough that’s my honest option normally I’d not leave reviews I’ll post there email later on twitter inster Facebook ect for your thoughts

GoogleWhat a waste of time with the agency, viewed a property and they didn't even get bothered to send an application form. Probably they already had someone in mind. Definitely won't recommend this agency.
