GoogleLoss of partial electricity in the house. Although there was not an established system for out of hour problems a staff member made all of the necessary contacts to ensure that the problem was dealt with quickly. They contacted me the next day to check that problems had been dealt with. Excellent initiative shown

GoogleIncompetent to the point of negligent. Took my property off the market in December for four months as my buyer failed to get mortgage after mortgage. Due diligence??? Stephensons did however have the good grace to admit they'd made a colossal mess of the non sale. Re. Response below. The buyer failed to get multiple mortgages prior to covid. Due diligence would have suggested that his life choices made it super hard to borrow. Your sales manager Sarah admitted you had made a balls up and apologised to me. A buyer is not a buyer if he has no money is he now?NegativeQuality, Professionalism, Value

As you know your buyer was given a mortgage offer, however the mortgage lender removed this offer due to COVID-19. This was completely out of the control of us and the buyer and your buyer was still fully committed to finding a new mortgage product however you weren’t prepared to give this time. We contest your claim regarding the remarks you suggest we made as this is simply not true. The very best of luck for the future.

GoogleStephenson’s of York, Haxby office, handled the sale of our property in Rawcliffe with great professionalism and excellent customer service. Everything was taken into consideration from the exquisite pictures and brochure to the continuous contact, effective communication and advice throughout the sale and completion process. Daniel and his team kept us up to date of all interest, which due to their excellent marketing, fair price and speedy service, there was plenty. They had our house on the market and sold within days and upheld their fantastic level of service during the contract exchange process. Thank you to Stephenson’s, great job. We couldn't be more pleased and impressed by Tom and Wendy at Stephensons Estate Agent in Selby. Tom and Wendy were professional and extremely helpful in the face of some very stressful situations (due to circumstances out of their control). They went out of their way to do everything they could to speed the process along. They were also excellent in their communication of every aspect of the transaction. We really can't rate them highly enough. We recommend them and will use them every time we buy / sell any future homes.

When it came to viewings, they worked around times I could go and had all the answers I needed. Paperwork was swift and all the team in the office were on hand and could assist with any queries or questions I had. I felt comfortable and looked after. Even upto moving day I had constant updates. FacebookI just wanted to say a huge thank you to everyone at Stephenson’s for getting us through our house sale. It has been by far the most stressful time we have ever gone through but Stephenson’s were always on hand to help us. Sarah was amazing!! Towards the end I spoke with her almost every day and her kinds words and professional attitude put me at ease as I knew she had it all in hand. Zak was also fantastic and was only a phone call away. Again he is very professional but he is very down to earth and approachable. I would 100% recommend anyone selling their property to use them!!
