GoogleI had the pleasure of dealing with Stapleton Derby Estate Agents as a buyer for a property they were selling. From the moment I first rang up and spoke to Sue to book a viewing, to the completion date they were amazing. Even though I wasn't their client I felt so supported by Sue and Stephen throughout the whole process. Nothing was too much trouble that really helped me to manage my anxiety. They were always available to talk to me, provide reassurance and helped things run smoothly. Stapleton Derby are the best estate agents I have ever come across providing a personal touch that makes you feel that they listen and it's not just about money as you get the whole 5 star package. They are just brilliant.

I was stupid enough to use this company as my managing agent for properties. I rented out.As a non resident landlord I expected a professional service from a company that initially charged 12%. This being reduced to due to poor service from them. They have some conscientious staff but are clearly led by and let down by the incompetence and arrogance of the owner.This company has failed to adequately respond to requests, failed to properly manage my properties and failed to properly discharge their duties in relation to inspections and end of tenancy protocols.I have since taken my two properties elsewhere to be managed, the standards I now enjoy are beyond comparison. If you are a landlord think very carefully before using this business, I was always a landlord who cared for my tenants and took my responsibility seriously. Unfortunately this was not the attitude of Stapleton Derby.Enjoy the read Mike.

It’s extremely stressful especially having never moved before, but the staff here made us feel reassured and confident throughout the whole process. GoogleStay well clear of this company. We rented a house from these for more than 3 years, paying £695 a month, nearly £30,000 in rent, and never missed a payment. We had a house check every 6 months without being asked to correct anything. Then, all of a sudden, start getting finance advisors and visits off the owner. We asked Stapleton, and derby was the owner after his house back and got reassured he wasn't on two occasions. A couple of weeks go by, and they send the poor man who shows people around the houses to do their dirty work. Give us a section 21, none fault eviction notice. 2 months to leave the house. They didn't even have the decency to speak to us. So after spending a lot of time and money, we finally moved out. This is even a bigger joke. Stapleton and derby have put the house back up for rent for £750. There should be laws against this to protect the tenants. But to be honest, we are now glad to see the back of them. They never use to fix issues , every house visit they use to take a list, and then take a list of issues the next visit exactly the same issues. And the house was never worth £695 never mind £750 my oldest daughter lived in a shoe box for a room which they have now advertised as 3 large bedrooms . Good luck to the next tenants who get conned. We are well rid of these cow boys
