FacebookAlthough they lure you in with a nice office and initially friendly staff. They are trying to charge £254 for cleaning an oven and skirting board. Actual joke!! To top it off i sent them a quote which stated the work was worth £77. Avoid this firm.

FacebookAbsolutely shambolic! No commitment to sorting issues with property and they have taken 2 months just to sort out the return of deposits. It’s incredibly bad business and the whole operation leaves a bitter taste.

GoogleMy daughter had the most horrific experience with a Space Lettings. She was never contacted by return, didn’t have viewings honoured and wasted several weeks of valuable viewing time waiting on a property which they mishandled. She was made to feel at fault about everything she did and said and was reduced to tears many times. None of our offers of being a guarantor etc were passed on to the landlord and we were blocked from discussing our complaints and difficulties with the manager. The staff are not transparent or polite and definitely do not support their clients in a professional manner. We were asked to be the tenant of the property in question and then no follow up calls were made by them so we dropped this firm like a hot brick and chose a far more superior and trustworthy firm called Daniels. We should like to warn prospective tenants that this firm should be avoided at all costs. Shockingly appalling and not trustworthy.

Space lettings are great. They look after my property, anything goes wrong they are on it straight away. I am contacted asap if there is a query & I am sent my statements every month. Very efficient & professional service. Would thoroughly recommend Jeremy & his team!

She even replied to some of my questions that may sound obvious but as a french person living abroad it's not always easy to understand everything and the system between the two countries is really different. She has been really helpful all the way through! Thanks a lot.

FacebookI have never experienced a more incompetent group of individuals in my life- you would think poorly qualified candidates was specified in the job description to work there. I would never go out of my way to write a negative review, but please, to anyone thinking of going with Space, save yourself the money, hassle and time. They will do anything to keep your deposit and not reply to any emails when you enquire.

FacebookI have never had such an awful experience with a letting agency. We were spoken to in an absolutely disgraceful manner and I am sure this was because we are all young people. I would like to urge anyone who is thinking of using Space - DONT. You will move into a frankly disgusting house. They will then charge you hundreds of pounds out of your deposit for the most ridiculous claims - despite the disgusting state of the house when you moved in. I am not entirely sure how they have received so many positive reviews but please do not believe them.

FacebookThe management needs to be more efficient, some members of the team were adequately helpful, however others need to understand that basic customer service is really important. It is mine and my future housemates' first time renting a house, however none of us received the guidance that we required in giving the documents necessary to complete the application, only an email telling us that if we did not send it to them by that day that we would lose our house. Further to this, our estate agent was very unnecessarily rude to me after I asked a basic yes or no question which made me almost feel stupid. I wouldn't recommend this letting agent, I think that they take advantage of undergraduates' inexperience and they need to be more organised. I have also heard very bad reviews of SPACE from people in my situation. Upon completing my application for the house I am really hoping that they will be more helpful in the future.

FacebookAlthough the members of staff seemed pretty nice and helpful in the first visit, my group and I received very poor assistance and guidance after that. We were obviously unexperienced in getting a house and the estate agent seemed to not understand that by giving us totally insensitive comments and inappropriate looks. It took them a long time to answer out doubts and questions, I had to wait 2 days in order to receive basic banking information in order to do my transfer to pay the deposit. They accused us of not having paid the deposit and threatened us to take the house away from us. It took them 48 hours to check their account and check beforehand if all the money was there. Obviously we worried and when we rang up, no one answered the phone (and my friend called twice before closing times) I thought we would be pleased with Space but it was a total disappointment. I would NOT recommend this agency for future students. They are slow hence slightly unprofessional I would say and lack customer service. What should have been an enjoyable experience almost turned into a nightmare.
