GoogleUnprofessional and devious. Avoid at all cost. The edit below is due to the reply from the business...... The property unexpectedly came back onto the market overnight, we had am alert from rightmove and called the estate agent first thing on the Friday morning. The estate agent's first available appointment was Wednesday the following week. We made the appointment and it was confirmed to us that we were the first callers and that was the first available appointment. If another appointment became available earlier, the estate agent would call us. On the Monday we were called by the Estate Agent and told that it had sold as they took somebody else to view it on the Saturday.

To clarify, you were booked into view a property with us, but before this occurred, another party made an offer that the vendor wished to accept. We provided our vendor with all the information and they decided to cancel your viewing, and a number of others. We acted in full transparency with the information we had and took instruction from our vendor on how they wished to proceed. I appreciate this may not have been agreeable to you, but assure you our actions were all professional and in line with our clients wishes. I wish you well with your ongoing property search. GoogleDisgraceful behaviour. Offer accepted on a property by seller, however Simon Blythe deceptively arranged follow up viewings, then told the vulnerable person with the accepted offer they’d need to increase their original offer - shameful behaviour.

GoogleWe used the services of Simon Blyth Estate Agents to sell our house during the autumn of 2022. Their initial advice was sound, neither the highest nor lowest valuation we received, their marketing strategy was clear, and their delivery of service during the 4 months it took to complete the transaction was excellent. Their team in the Holmfirth office were proactive, knowledgeable, available and responsive, and without question were a positive influence upon ensuring the sale actually happened. We were impressed with them, and would have no hesitation recommending them to others.

GoogleVery friendly and efficient team in the Fox Valley Office. Got things moving very quickly after the initial contact. A realistic valuation from the start was a boon. When things got stuck with the solicitor they persisted until we got some action going and everything completed.

GoogleAll the staff at Simon Blyth Penistone office worked so hard to sell a house for us, it was quite unbelievable. As soon as the house went on the market it was as though we had our own agent, constant phone calls, e-mails etc with bookings and updates. The staff filtered the appointments to our requirements, we did the viewings just short of 20 one weekend and the team did the rest. Thank you to everyone at the Penistone office for making this difficult experience so easy. from the first day when the house was valued to the day the house sale contracts were exchanged the team kept us informed at all times. Well done.
