TrustpilotAbsolutely Shambolic!
Absolutely Shambolic! I put my flat up to rent, the tenant has been in my property for 3 weeks now and I haven't received a single penny from Rolfe East nor a decent explanation as to why! Then today I get a statement where I have been charged for services I did not even request, charged multiple times for one off fees. Do yourself a favour and stay away from these guys, nothing but hassle and stress. They are masters at time wasting and money grabbing.

We got ripped off when we moved out - existing issues were chalked up to us meaning we lost deposit. When I contacted the agent they said its nothing to do with them. Nonsense - they hire the inventory clerks.

GoogleThe most unprofessional experience of my adult life, had a viewing planned for 6pm, I asked to reschedule for 6.30pm as Tube was delayed, agent spoke to the tenant, called me back agreed 6.30pm and was then I was sent text saying Ash had to reschedule for another day, the text was sent at 6.34pm, extremely poor and unprofessional service..... a shame as it’s an independent agency, that I will now never have any further involvement with during our home search.

The only appointment time confirmed between our team and yourself was for 6pm. Relating to the times you have mentioned in your review, we have evidence via call lists and text message that confirm that Ash called you at 18.06, 18.11, 18.32 and 18.39 on every occasion you stated you were 5 mins away and you also sent a text message at 18.25 to say you were actually 2 minutes away. Sadly Ash had other commitments and was already trying to be as flexible as possible, but sadly it seems you were not completely honest on your timings. There was also some swearing and abusive behaviour from your end following this, which we do not appreciate and will not tolerate towards our staff. We were not rude and had offered to reschedule as we had already waited 30 minutes outside of our usual working hours. Naturally we wish you all the best with your property search. Rolfe East Team.

GoogleThey don't check the properties and just offer places where most of the things are broken claiming that the places has been repaired. They put on the contract the moving date but the key gets delayed using 'maintenance' service as an excuse for that. Also they don't assist you whenever you have a problem, transfer your from one person to anoter and which is worst they don't even know how to deal with the issues!!!! Huge disappointment!!! I would never use their services again!!!!
Dear Polina Stefanova, We are sorry to receive your negative review, however looking in to history of your tenancy we find your review confusing and misleading. Firstly in regards to not receiving the keys when expected; I appreciate this can be frustrating, but due to unforeseen issues arising, our team and the landlord had to make the decision to postpone moving forward and resolve the issues before moving you into the property. This was intended to be a positive for you as you would be moving once these unforeseen issues had be fully resolved. In regards to the on going issues you have had, we have checked with the maintenance team and it seems our records show that every time you have called about a problem it has been dealt with in a speedy manor and resolved within days of you reporting them to us. Everything was done as soon as was humanly possible. You must realise that we are limited to when and how problems can get resolved as they will almost always involve instructing third parties to do work as well as speaking to the landlord to get permission to go ahead with work. But in your case the landlord was very responsive and action was taken without delay. The landlord had some refurbishments to the property in parts before you moved in, I can only assume there may have been some teething problems after the work was done. Once again we apologise for your frustrations voiced in your review, but we hope our response may shed some light for you and clarify our position in the choices and actions made during your tenancy. GoogleI was very impressed with the knowledge and professionalism of Ash and James at Rolfe East. Throughout the process of selling my flat they kept me fully informed and chased up the buyer’s solicitors on the several occasions they appeared to have gone walkabout. They are friendly and pleasant to deal with and I’d highly recommend Rolfe East to anyone with a property to sell.

GoogleJames and Ash (and the team) were very good in helping me to sell my flat. They were the (fourth!) Agents I used in the local area at a time when the market has been very sluggish but got me to a good result and always communicated excellently. My conveyancers were very slow and so Ash in particular had to spend time chasing them up and smoothing delays over with the buyer which kept it safely on track.

GoogleWe researched different real estate agents to market and sell our house, and decided to choose Rolfe East-Acton. This was because we felt the photography and quality of the Rolfe East advertisements were better than that of other real estate agents, the staff were friendly and we felt that the Rolfe East-Acton fees were good value. Throughout the sale process, we found the staff (James, Ash, Nick) to be helpful, proactive and good at keeping us up-to-date. We were happy that we chose Rolfe East-Acton to sell our house.

GoogleMy Father recently sold his house through Rolf East dealing with James Williams and Ash. Both were professional and approachable, James always being upbeat but with sound knowledge and advice. The process was out of the ordinary with the buyers insisting on some conditions. James was not put out giving his opinion and advice in a straight forward and welcome way. I do not hesitate to recommend them to anyone needing the services if an estate agent.

GoogleLaurance and his staff were brilliant. The sale of my house has taken six months to complete and it is because of the unbelievably effort from Laurance the sale finally went ahead. Laurance makes that extra effort and you can contact him in the evenings and weekends which helps if you have an urgent problem. I had been trying to sell my property with agents in Yeovil with no success so I tried Rolfe East in Sherborne and after two viewings I was successful.

GoogleWe cannot speak too highly of the work that Laurence and his team did when selling our property. We couldn't fault the professionalism shown throughout what turned out to be a stressful process but it was that extra attention to detail that made the difference. Whether clarifying details with the buyer, overseeing the property while we were absent or encouraging us in a positive and optimistic manner when problems arose, nothing was too much trouble. Our sale was a very modest one in terms of value but that made no difference to the level of professionalism shown throughout by Laurence and his excellent team.

It took us 3 years to have the courage to put our house on the market and this was only after friends and family highly recommended Rolfe East to us: they lived up to our expectations. Every step of the way they were highly professional, knowledgeable and supportive. They were great at staying in-touch and keeping us up-to-date with developments all the way through. They are all incredibly hardworking yet never too busy to answer our queries, no matter how trivial, and are highly dependable. We are quite sure that they were the keystone in helping everything to go through so smoothly. We appreciated the personal touch that you receive from the whole team at Rolfe East and can not recommend them enough.

GoogleExcellent overall performance, and a buyer within 12 days! From the initial request for a valuation to the successful conclusion of the sale, the Rolfe Team were responsive, professional & keen. They bring a more contemporary attitude to the Estate Agent scene in the area, which needed a 'laundering of stuffed shirts', and demonstrated why they have received their several official accolades. Their marketing presentation of what was quite a challenging property was exemplary, both descriptively & photographically, and their pricing advice while taking on board our aspirations, proved effective. They are worth every penny of their very reasonable fee. The size of their office proves that the best things come in small packages. Well Done Guys!

GoogleGreat job. Lawrence and his team are fabulous. Rolfe East were our favoured candidate out of 3 potentials and Lawrence went one to get a great price. Thereafter the team worked really hard to progress what turned out to be a pretty challenging transaction in which we were the final part of a long and complicated chain which included agricultural property that had been sold at auction.The communication throughout the process was outstanding. I could not recommend Rolfe East to highly. Thank you we really appreciate all your hard work.

GoogleHaving sold two properties via Rolfe East (Sherborne Office) in the last 30 months, I would unreservedly recommend Laurence and his excellent team. We had several good offers - and accepted, within 2 weeks on the first property and within 8 weeks on the second property. The successful offers were either on or very close to the full asking price. This is largely due to an expert initial valuation, excellent marketing and a professional team that continue to proactively sell the properties on their books, whilst maintaining good communication with all parties involved. I will definitely use Rolfe East (Sherborne Office) in the future.
