I purchased my property through Roger Parry, the process from start to finish was a breeze, Ruth who was helping me throughout the process was so helpful, kept in touch regularly, assisted in mediation between the solicitors on both sides and was very helpful with recommending local areas as I was not familiar with Telford. Don’t agree with one star Don’t sign any property with out getting Property license checks and certificates for all parts of the house from landlords to safety inspection because we had house from 5 years of hell with them not doing the checks the landlord was not licensed and no planning for the property they did not check the law with the Electric supplier? As was cash for landlord not by law Damp in every room and water leaks from Bodman and landlord and if u watch any scum landlords on tv his one of them thanks to this company so please be careful and do your own research in the place b4 signing So on the 27th dec dps emailed me to say on the 20th December I agree to pay £750 over to a the landlord what I did not and I will not get any money back from them for this how sign a key over to not get the deposit back hmm don’t touch this company as they only here for the scum landlords they don’t do there checks and scam people with poor housing

My sister and I had a property to sell in Welshpool and met Jill who we warmed to straight away. Jill explained the process clearly and how they could also check in on the property from time to time after an offer was accepted as it was unoccupied. This was very reassuring as we lived several hours drive away. Once we agreed to list our property with Roger Parry, Jill immediately sprang into action and the photos were organised and the property brochure was available within a week. We had several viewings and we received feedback for all of them. Once we accepted the offer, Jill and her colleague Harriet kept in contact with us all the way through. Jill, in particular, kept chasing the buyer and both solicitors to ensure the sale kept moving. We had numerous updates and we really appreciated the close monitoring Jill and Harriet did. Not only were they both professional and friendly, but there was nothing that was too much for them to do. Jill gave us advice and reassurance as well as her local knowledge. It was an absolute pleasure to deal with Jill and Harriet in what is normally a very stressful situation! I would have no hesitation in recommending anyone to use Roger Parry Estate Agents for their property sale.

Use with caution

Absolutely dreadful experience when buying a property from this agent. Once a full survey was completed on the property showing major defects present including asbestos they shut us down with no desire to gain a resolution. Over 3k lost in Solicitors and surveyors fees but what hurt us the most was the absolute disregard for the emotional impact not only on ourselves who had by this late stage re-located with our employment but all the other people we had to let down in the chain behind us. Ultimatums given with only hours to assimilate important information is not negotiation. Had the agent been open and transparent about the issues with the property from the start it could have saved eight people a whole lot of heartache in our chain. We would never use this agent again having had such a bad and truly heartless experience. We are not a number we are real people and it will take us a long time to get over this horrendous experience.
