GoogleAvoid at all costs Horrific experience with this letting agent. They would never reply to any emails about work needing to be done. However if they needed something they would expect me to reply straight away. For months I asked if something could be done over the flooring as it was so poorly fitted and a huge trip hazard, we had a child in the house. They refused to fix the floor but tried to take my deposit to replace it once I left. The DPS obviously didn't agree to this as the flooring was in such poor condition on commencement of the tenancy. I feel sorry to whoever has moved into the property as it was in desperate need of decorating. I think the landlord had tried to do odd jobs themself but clearly wasn't very skilled. The car park was also underwater due to the biggest pothole I have ever seen. We only lived in the property for a year because we couldn't cope with the lack of communication. Our current letting agent and all previous have been amazing so we weren't expecting such a poor experience.

GoogleMy wife and I are so pleased we chose Roger Parry to help us sell a neglected and semi-derelict property near Welshpool following the death of a relative. Harriet Bason and Jill Gannon could not have been more helpful with this difficult sale, particularly as we live over 200 miles away and cannot travel easily. If Roger Parry covered Devon and Cornwall we would definitely use them again!

The property suffers from severe mold, inadequate water supply (a tiny electric tank that runs cold within minutes), freezing conditions due to gaps in the floorboards, and an infested bedroom window that attracts swarms of flies. The bathroom is cold and unhygienic, while the electricity system is outrageously expensive: £50 lasts only 4 hours without heating. There is no gas supply, making this an exceptionally costly and impractical property. Tenants consistently leave within weeks. The landlord refuses to carry out repairs or improvements, leaving the property in a hazardous and substandard condition. This flat is unsafe, unaffordable, and unsuitable for anyone to live in. Jo and Laura were absolutely instrumental in our completion process; Jo has a knack for (and dedication to) whipping solicitors into action and making sure the sale/purchase process keeps moving. Without their imput we'd still probably be a couple of months away from completion! Thoroughly professional and friendly, no ask was too much trouble - from additional visits to organising access for bat surveys, to passing messages the the vendors.
