Leah at Ossett Richard Kendal dealt with the purchase of our new house and worked on behalf of the vendor. However she was an absolute superstar, she was always in contact and checked in with us and kept us up to date. She went up and beyond for us even though she was not working on our behalf.She kept me very sane in a the mix of a very stressful time of moving house.

She was brilliant throughout, she always kept us up to date with weekly updates, chased replies from solicitors/ other parties in the chain and anticipated our needs when different issues cropped up, making a stressful process a lot easier! Amanda and the rest of the Richard Kendall team has been amazing throughout. We've had some people cancel on the viewings and didn't show up at all but the Team didn't fail to chase them as well as keeping us updated all the time. Also, thankful for the team for following our instruction throughout and keeping us in the loop when we've sold the house.

GoogleGREAT SERVICE FROM RICHARD KENDALL, BUT BEWARE OF RECOMMENDED PARTNERS We recently used Richard Kendall as our estate agents, and overall, the experience was very positive. Lucy was absolutely fantastic, she always answered our calls and emails promptly with a friendly and professional attitude. Her support and guidance throughout the process were invaluable, and she made a potentially stressful time much easier to navigate. However, there were a couple of frustrations. Firstly, the "Sold" sign was not collected for over a month despite me repeatedly asking. Each time, I was told it had been logged in their system, yet no one came to remove it. Only after I expressed my frustration and informed them I would dispose of the sign myself was it finally collected within the week. The second, and far bigger issue, was their recommendation to use one of their approved solicitors, Core Legal. From the outset, I made it clear that communication was my top priority when choosing a solicitor. Despite this, I was referred to Core Legal, who turned out to have the brain cells of a fish and the communication skills of a sloth. Their service was abysmal, unresponsive, unprofessional, and downright infuriating. What should have been a simple process turned into a prolonged nightmare due to their incompetence. I strongly urge Richard Kendall to reconsider Core Legal’s inclusion on their list of approved partners, as their shocking performance reflects poorly on an otherwise excellent estate agency. Despite these frustrations, I would still recommend Richard Kendall for their professional and attentive service during the property sale, Lucy’s support was especially outstanding. However, be cautious about their solicitor recommendations.

GoogleDonna and Suzanne were amazing for the purchase of our family home. They were professional, and kept us informed with every step. They chased solicitors on a regular basis and answered any questions we had. Our only regret was not using them for the sale of our property, as we could not fault the service provided.

What can i say about Karen and Amanda at the Wakefield branch other than they were absolute superstars throughout our sale and purchase. What can at best be described as an extremely difficult and stressful journey these ladies were incredible. They kept us informed, dealt with countless difficulties all while being totally professional, reassuring us that we would get there, they were kind, friendly and approachable throughout. We had to sell our property in Ossett while living in a different part of the country with all the problems that entails but the task was made easier for us because of Mandy Bennett of the Ossett office.Whatever problem we had Mandy rose to occasion and sorted it out without any fuss. We couldn't have asked for a more capable person to organize the selling of our house. We needed someone to maintain the garden, she found someone for us. As the house was empty we needed someone to check the house and heating on a regular basis, she organized that for us. Nothing was above or beyond the call of duty, she even liaised with the buyers on our behalf as we weren't around.She was always professional as well as being lighthearted and humorous and was a delight to talk to.Thank you Mandy.p.s. We think Mr. Kendall should give you a pay rise.

Do not use this company, was advised on the phone to hand back a property I needed to hand the keys back on the day and fill out a moving house form, complete the form on the day and everything was fine no issues in the office, few weeks later because they didn’t inform the landlord of me moving out they are deciding to keep the deposit for not giving them written notice after I was told this was not needed and I was to just hand the keys in on the day. Moving in inventory was all good same as the moving out inventory but yet I still got charged £92 for gardening. It’s actually laughable £700 down due to lack of communication and miss information in there office.

Our allocated agents, Shireen and Catherine dealt with a difficult sale very professionally and were always on hand to offer help and assistance.The fee was very attractive.A first sale fell through due to the purchasers home developing an issue, but a new buyer was found and the sale proceeded without any issues.Well done.
