GoogleWith our office also being based in Christchurch we often work with Richard Godsell. Their consistently excellent communication and accessibility make working with them a pleasure. Without hesitation, we highly recommend their services to our clients.

GoogleA good service. We would recommend. Friendly and helpful. Assured us of an unrealistic exchange date that wasn’t within their power to secure bearing in mind the rest of the chain, that added huge unnecessary stress. Would’ve been better to just be straight up. But overall, felt they advocated fairly well on our behalf. We’re thankful for their work.

GoogleHighly recommend the Christchurch branch - the whole team were fantastic from start to finish whilst we purchased our first property. Steve helped us understand the process as FTBs, David helped us negotiate the property we had our heart set on with some stiff competition. All were supportive and quick to respond, would highly recommend & thanks so much!

FacebookA long post, but detailed and honest! Having used Richard Godsell a few years ago and receiving exceptional support and service, instructing them as a highly regarded, long standing estate agent with a remarkable reputation in the area ticked all the boxes for me. On both occasions I dealt with David Midgley. David gave his honest opinion, he was kind, patient, understanding and extremely professional and I felt he acted in my best interest at all times. He kept me in the loop with every detail, went above and beyond to deliver everything we agreed and everything he promised.. David found a buyer within 6 days and negotiated a fair price for me. I also felt he treated us both as a seller and buyer with respect. I also took David’s advice and used a local solicitor who Richard Godsell have a good relationship with and everything went smoothly and efficiently and everyone worked as a team. I personally could not have asked for anything more and I would highly recommend David to anyone - you won’t be disappointed! They say, buying and selling can be stressful, but I think, choose the right agent and let them do their job! Completion on the property took just 9 weeks!! (Yes! - you have read that right!!) Thank you David and your team - you are a credit to the Estate Agent industry.

GoogleI used Richard Godsell to purchase and sell my property (2 years apart) with the sale going through at the start of July 23. Their assistance throughout the process was exceptional, with special mention for Rebecca doing her utmost to ensure a speedy sale at my request. I would certainly use their services again and intend to do so in the future.

GoogleHad my property marketed by another local agency (MA) for a wasted 19 weeks, instructed Richard Godsell immediately after and had proceedable buyers viewing my property from day 1. I cannot thank Alistair, Tom but a special thankyou to Steve for the efforts made in getting my property sold at a good market value, I was kept informed throughout and everything was dealt with smoothly and professionally. I would 100% recommend these guys. Many thanks once again Mark and Karen

GoogleI must say that from a purchasers’ point of view I could not have expected better service and communication from Richard Godsells, the vendor’s agent. Alastair, Steve and Tom, and indeed everyone I dealt with, could not have been more helpful, promptly answering my queries and obtaining information from the vendor, and allowing me to spend time measuring up etc, without any rush. Nothing was too much trouble, and Alastair even kindly gave me the benefit of his opinion on my proposed improvement works after contracts had been exchanged. Many thanks to you all.

GoogleThe team at Christchurch Richard Godsell did a great job selling my mum's retirement flat. Particular thanks to Alastair and Steve who acted with courtesy and professionalism throughout a lengthy and challenging process

GoogleI am absolutely delighted with the service provided. I sold my house this summer and moved abroad. Needless to say that this added even more pressure on everyone than a "normal" house sale since we had to proceed at fast pace. David and his team were simply amazing. They provided a realistic evaluation and made sure that only buyers can view the house that are in a position to proceed with the necessary funding in place. After only one viewing we had several offers and a few weeks later, the new owner has moved in. David was always very responsive and kept the solicitors of both parties on their toes. I always knew I could rely on his professionalism and dedication. If you are after a no-nonsense estate agent operating on the highest possible basis, Richard Godsell is your first address to contact.
