Reeds reins carrickfergus .. moving house is supposed to be a hugely exciting time. Perhaps if you were the seller I on the other hand was merely the buyer and was digusted by the treatment received from Debbie. Started off with the fake high pitched chat and quickly within a week her tone and manner were disgusting to the point i was very close to pulling out of a sale. The lies and lack of information were absolutely shocking. Lying to the vendor about providing supporting documents to my solicitor Fortunately i had been in direct contact with the vendor and was able to relay correct information and advise that lack of information for my solicitor was due to reeds reins incompetency namely debbie. While i was harrssed by her almost weekly then daily whilst she tried her best to talk down to me and over me in her rude dismissive tone. Even when I called into the estate agents to tell her to stop the constant calls and harassment. Truly Spoilt what should have been a happy experience for me. Never again will i deal with them or recommend them.

Liars telling me i have to pay 1 months rent and deposit, payed it then when i was moved in they said oh no sorry you dont get your holding deposit back because your short on your deposit by exactly what i paid for a holding deposit. Nathan you sly little boy, shame on you.

Charlotte Wright from Reeds Rains is bad

Charlotte Wright from Reeds Rains in Salford Quays in Greater Manchester is completely bad. She promised several time to take a video for one of my friends, but never does it. This delays a lot for my friend's making decision. When asking her why she promise to take video but always never does, what she says is only sorry. I’ve spoken to Charlotte about this matter and she’s advised that you called last week and asked if we could take a video of the property. She told you that she would take a video when she was next there, which was Monday. On Monday one of her viewers made an immediate offer and the landlord subsequently accepted this offer. I would again offer my apologies for how this concluded but would suggest it was beyond our control to an extent. If you would like to see any of the other properties we have we would be more than happy to help.Kind regards,Greg Davies - Senior Branch Manager.I have seen the reply. I am not sure how many people would believe this lie. This not happen once. So please investigate more clearly. Anyway, I would not take this agent any more.

Reeds Rains Manchester have an outstanding customer service/sales/support team, I could not be any happier with the level of support and correspondence I received. Due to a series of unexpected and unfortunate events caused by a third party, I was placed in a position from which, had it not been for the exceptional help of Reeds, and in particular, Ryan Wood, I would have been homeless on the 1st September! I highly recommend using Reeds Rains if you're looking for not only an excellent selection of properties in the city, but a team of estate agents willing to go above and beyond to make the move as painless and hassle free as possible.

We contacted the Salford branch in order to express an interest in a property we were shown that was Buy to Rent. My husband was told by a very blasé staff member that they would contact us at some point to get job details etc and wouldn't that they wouldn't take any details from us.When my husband rang and emailed again the next day, he was informed that all 'offers' were now with the Landlord and one had been accepted! We hadn't had the opportunity to be able to provide our full names let alone put in an 'offer' to the landlord. Very underhand and suspect for a government backed scheme for first time buyers. Avoid these time wasters.

The branch of Reeds Rains that we were initially dealing with was Abergele in North Wales. We were then transfered to the Rhyl branch when Abergele closed.

When Reeds Rains put our property on the market their representative told us that we had to pay £150 upfront and if they did not sell our property they would refund the £150. We have decided not to sell our home and asked Reeds Rains to take our property off the market & refund the £150. We've now been told by the manager of another branch (our original branch closed) that the £150 was for professional photographs (although this is in the agency agreement), this is not what we were advised at the time & we believe we were mis-led. The employees from the other branch are no longer employed by them!!!!

Reed Rains needs to be reported ASAP!!

Just called hoping to arrange a viewing on Kingston road which i enquired about 2 weeks ago. I called today hoping to arrange a viewing as I was waiting for them to get back to me with arranging a appointment which then I found out they had a open house a day before and did not bother calling me as i was told I'll be put down for a viewing. The agent was really out of line and told me the property is no longer available and we will contact you once we've arranged viewings and hung up on me. TERRIBLE SERVICE!!! Honestly been arranging viewings with these lot for weeks now but never have luck with them its a shame because this was actually a recommendation from a friend who sold through them!!!! Purple Bricks have actually provided a better service and there is no agent showing us around and yet they call us to update us with upcoming properties. Poor attitude with dead faces in the office with no intentions to help selling a house.... Absolute JOKE !!!

If your a landlord stay away

Firstly please do not use Reeds and Rains!. I am a landlord. Every month my rent is not in my account until at least 10 days after the payment date by the tenant on the first of each month. Why? so RR can gain interest. Last month monies for a deposit scheme where taken x 3 amounts all at once? Why? who knows I have contacted three different people. No response. I have left a message via the landlord portal. No response. Also i pay a management fee for property inspection reports. How many have I had in the last year? yep zero. I am going to visit the branch tomorrow. Please do not be taken in by this company. And I am guessing i will receive no response from this. Awful service

Awful service. Moved around and been renting for the past 7 years and I have never had an experience like this. I've never had an application process thats taken more than a couple of weeks max. With Reeds Rains, it has been 4 weeks and still not sorted. References were an issue due to them using the incompetent service that is Experian. Everytime you contact the office, you get fobbed off and you can never get through to the person dealing with your application unless they happen to answer the phone by chance. Looking to BUY a property soon and I will not be interested in any property advertised by Reeds Rains! First and last!
