All the staff (Reece, Karis and Sarah) were amazing during our house move. From the moment our house went on the market right up to completion they work extremely hard. They were courteous in showing potential buyers around. They were constantly updating us and chasing up and down the chain once we had sold. . Their hard work was particularly evident as another estate agent in the chain "does not do chasing of Solicitors" and this made it very difficult for us to find out what was happening. Despite this the team at Reeds would contact all the Solicitors and other ahents to get updates. The team were amazing, I can't recommend them enough. We have previously used Reeds Rains and had the same service then. If we ever sell again Reeds Rains would be the only agents we would use.

From the time Phill came to give us a valuation until the sale was completed, Sarah and the team at Reeds Rains were superb. Due to a major land registry problem, the sale of our house took much longer than normal and we had several other technical issues to contend over the 8 month period. Rhys and Sarah were nothing short of fantastic throughout our entire selling/purchasing process. From beginning to end they were there for us through every twist, turn and hurdle! We had a myriad of problems (nothing to do with Reeds Rains) during our process and they did everything in their power to get us over the line. It felt as though they were genuinely invested in helping us get our old property sold and new property bought. The communication was second to none - clear, concise and honest so we always knew where we were at. Rhys' professionalism is wonderful and Sarah's legal knowledge was invaluable throughout. We were unfortunate in that my first buyer pulled out, but Reeds were quick to get it back on the market, viewings booked in and resold within a week - amazing! Due to this, towards the end of our sale/purchase we were on a critical time limit as our mortgage was due to expire. booked a viewing for Wednesday, they went through with the viewing, even though the listing had already been removed, which seemed dodgy. The agent said that the application package would be emailed to us in the morning, we called to double check where it was as it was already mid-day and they said it would be with us by the end of the day; however, the packages were never sent to us as the listing was clearly gone. I am writing to express my extreme disappointment and frustration with the way my recent property search was handled by your agency. The level of communication and mismanagement that I experienced throughout the process was absolutely unacceptable, leaving me feeling deceived and disheartened. Furthermore, I find it absolutely baffling that no one from your agency saw fit to inform me about the existence of a higher cash offer on the property. It was only through my own proactive initiative of contacting your agency that I learned about the competing offer. If I hadn't taken it upon myself to inquire, I can only assume that I would have been kept in the dark indefinitely. This lack of transparency and failure to communicate effectively is inexcusable and demonstrates a severe lack of professionalism.The entire ordeal has left me deeply saddened and questioning the integrity of your agency.

I’m not sure what their issue is but I’m starting to go down the route of discrimination. I applied to two different properties to rent and they sent me an application. I reduced the price on both properties with my offer. I heard back from Sophie stating that’s they have gone with another application and will let me know if it doesn’t go through. The next day that property was on rightmove again,for the exact price I wanted it for. I called, resubmitted my application, left voicemails you name it. They told me she was only working for one hour in the day and that she will contact me tomorrow. We are going on two days now and have heard absolutely nothing.The second property I put in an application for. They didn’t even get back to me. Just re andvertised again at a reduced price. Didn’t let us know, didn’t even try to renegotiate which we were open to.I don’t know if they have a problem against us in particular but as I am reading some reviews nobody has been treated like us. Really disappointing to see because we more than meet the criteria.

Not a good experience

We have recently tried to onboard to our portfolio a property located in central Manchester. The property was promoted by Reeds Reins but never advertised as a repossession, something we uncovered through coincidence after asking some basic questions to a rather inexperienced very junior rep the agency used to do the viewings.Having offered the advertised asking price which, subsequently got accepted, the Estate Agent in charge of promoting the property offered us a turnaround time of just three weeks to conclude exchange of contracts from the issue of the Memorandum Of Sale knowing only too well they we had to deal with the property under standard conveyancing rules and a mortgage that had to be approved by a mortgage lender with their own charter surveying process. This additional pressure to exchange made the entire buying experience particularly stressful.Eventually, we were informed by email that there was another offer on the table and were asked to put in a counter offer if still interested. We lost the flat to the other buyer.That was the second loss with this agent that came across to us not as easy to work with. In our offer to another property the agent demanded proof of finance prior to even putting forward our offer to the seller and sounded rude. No apology was offered when I called the manager to complain .We eventually decided to stop viewing properties through that agency.

Poor experience - beware

If you choose Reeds Rains, and hand the keys over to them for their accompanied viewer, please check your property as soon as possible after any viewings. We ended up with a significant repair bill after a redundant disconnected shower was operated (Who knows why, but the accompanied viewer was there in charge of the property?) resulting in water leaking into the kitchen below and collapsing the ceiling, initial consultation with a caring branch manager escalated into a complaint which of course sided with the accompanied viewer, a very biased process. Very little empathy and absolutely zero goodwill. **Update, just read the reply from Reeds Rains probably ticking their caring box, as expected heard nothing from them. Empty promises!!!**
