GoogleWe chose Reeds Rains after Speaking to Andrew Bailey at Reeds who was very helpful when we were at the valuation stage and they Stood out head and shoulders above other estate agents we had asked to provide us with a quote, not just because of the price but their attitude and interest in the history of the house too. Thank You Guys! Andrew, Karis, Luke and Rhys have been fantastic while our House has been on the market for sale! Their feedback to us has been exceptional, they are professional, courteous and very helpful and have kept us apprised all through the process and would not hesitate to use them again and would gladly recommend them to friends and Family alike. They also recommend Solicitor to us called Stephenson's who they use on a regular basis for Residential Conveyancing and we decided to go with them and can truly say that they have been brilliant too. All in all a very good experience! Thank you all again guys

GoogleI had an offer accepted on a property on Nuneaton Road. I dealt with Karis, and later had the misfortune to work with Luke. What should have been straightforward turned into something I walked away from. Between 17 and 25 June, they asked for a long list of items: ID, proof of address, mortgage in principle, proof of deposit, solicitor details, broker confirmation of my borrowing, gifted deposit paperwork, ID Check from the person giving the gift and more. Each time, the implication was that once I provided what they asked for, they would mark the property Sold STC. I provided every single item, yet rather than moving the sale forward, they simply came back with another request, including demands that went well beyond what my solicitor already handles. This isn't the first house I've tried to buy, so i have all the paper work to go and no agent before this or after, whether Dixons, Oakmans or any independent, has ever asked for this much or moved the goalposts at every stage. It was either serious overstepping, or there was a bias at play, if you catch my drift. If trying to get a Sold STC was this much of an ordeal, I dreaded to think what the other stages would be like. Lucky for me, they dragged their feet so much that I started looking at other houses. Why would I pay this much when there were other properties on the same road going for less, with a driveways and big gardens? It also made me think: if this house had been on the market for six months, what would it be like when I came to sell it? I honestly feel sorry for the owners. As much as it was a terrible experience, I actually have to thank them, because I would have been upside down on this one if I had rushed it through. Lord knows I have spent enough money on Level 3 surveys and solicitor's fees already. It's a shame, because I wanted the house. I will never use Reeds Rains again. It's like their staff are on a power trip. I'm a believer that everything happens for a reason, so maybe I wasn't meant to buy it. I would not recommend this branch.

very very unpleasent interraction, delaying the return of my deposit for no reason. Made me pay extra day of rent for making me return the keys in an office outside the city.... Now just holding my money without reason and kept telling me, we will sort it, we will sort it. Honestly I never heard of, or saw, a worse agent!!!
