The estate agent, Steve was brilliant so down to earth and gave me honest feedback which I can use. I felt comfortable letting him into my house and that I could trust him. Reeds Rains Eastwood...seriously this must be the best estate agent in Nottinghamshire.Nothing was too much trouble for them.Led by their wonderful manager Matt all of his staff were helpful,friendly,polite and efficient. Due to their efficiency my mum’s property was sold on the first day as they had notified a couple who came to view it at once and snapped it up as realistically priced(£20,000 more than another estate agent who had also priced it).They dealt with everyone of my queries in their usual quick and meticulous manner.The manager Matt led by example and along this journey offered his help every step of the way and reiterated this every time I phoned or called into the office.This estate agent was recommended by a friend of mine and I’m so glad I went with them as they made what could be a very stressful experience into a very pleasant one. I cannot sing their praises highly enough and cannot understand the bad reviews given to them as I am recommending them to all my friends who want to sell their property.

Reeds rains Hull...Initially registered interest in a property through website, due to no answer at estate agents, even though they were supposed to be open.Expected to be called once registering, however no call came? Rung the estate agents again and finally got through, lady explained I would have to go through my details again as they can't retrieve my information off website? So I gave details, to be told someone will ring me back. No one did. Rung estate agents again and finally booked a viewing. Took afternoon off work as I work away and went to view property. No representation from estate agents turned up and no access to property due to it been vacant. Strange when Estate agent stated it was in high demand and they had been viewings through the week? Ring estate agents who explained they had been a mistake in the diary and wouldn't be able to view today! Luckily the owner of the property now knows the mess around we've had off reeds rains. Quite simple, no one is bothered in that place. Even though they're a esrare agents, they don't seem interested in viewing or selling of properties. Stay away.

To answer Reeds Rains reply (unsigned) It seems strange that when I notified Reeds Rains to release the deposit back to the tenant who had just vacated they sent me an email to advise me that their Eastwood Team would be in touch to help find a new Tenant. I called the Eastwood Office and spoke to the person who dealt with the lettings advising that I do not require their services, She is the one of the team that caused the problem. So it says a lot about so called "full restructure at our Eastwood and Chesterfield branches as a result whole new teams are now in place " It just shows that their management is out of touch and does not tell the whole truth.To sum up the service is poorH Orchard

I am a Landlord and was dealing with Reeds Rains at Eastwood Nott's in January 2019 and the Tenancy has now terminated.The staff at Eastwood and Chesterfield do not understand the Legal Requirements of a Tenancy agreement and Signed on my behalf after I had expressly told them not to, saying I would allow the Tenant to move in and we would sign the agreement when it had been amended as there was so many errors in it.They went ahead anyway and signed on my behalf.I have now moved to a more professional company

“It’s not our problem”

We live in a rented house and the filter on the oven was very loose when we moved in. When we moved we emailed them and they said that they could sort it out. Since then it has completely fallen off. We have been emailing reeds rains for weeks on end now and only just got a reply, saying that “it’s not their problem anymore”. We phoned them up and they hung up. Thanks reeds rains, you’ve got something really special.

It's been 3 days now since I rang the holderness road, Hull branch to arrange a viewing on 2 properties, the young girl on the phone I spoke to was pleasant, said she'd pass it on to the sales team who have not bothered ringing me back, she did mention 1 property was under offer but I should still be able to view it, especially if I put in a higher bid, I've got a good mind to go see the owners and let them know that this company is stopping or just can't be bothered to contact me and arrange a viewing.

Used Reeds Rains for the sale of our house and we were very pleased with the service they provided. They got lots of viewings for us and a buyer from well out of the area.They kept us updated on other properties in our area and price range and also on the progress of our sale. I would highly recommend them especially the Lesley who went out of her way to see things went smoothly and keep us updated on the progress of our sale.Again we can"t thank them enough and would use them again if we move. Very poor level of service.

The staff in the local branch were helpful and good to deal with. After letting a property we were handed over to the central team in Southampton (the property being in Sheffield) and from there on the level of service was terrible. I would let rent a Reed Rains property again under any circumstances.
