Started confident but ended feeling completely let down, no help, no checks on people asking for views, no updates, no chasing, had to do it all myself. Complained about not hearing from them and was told they only do updates after offer accepted, well didnt get that either, only time they updated their system of anything was after we provided them and gave every bit of information, wernt worth the full amount paid and only did so because contracted term.

In late December 2025 I had 3 different estate agents to value and give a price for the marketing of my maisonette in Nuneaton that I wanted to sell. James Pointon provided the most competitive quote and took photos while he was was at the property. He came across as the most efficient and driven out of the 3 agents by far and so we chose Pointon's to market this property for sale. It was on the basis of a no sale no fee agreement. Steve Nelson then took ownership as the Sales Advisor and in no time he had arranged and met with several potential buyers at the property to allow viewings while I was overseas. In mid February Steve found a first time buyer and kept me continuously up to date during the whole selling/buying process through emails and the Keyflow system. He was always efficient at answering my emails and nudging the solicitors along. The local searches delayed the completion date but that was down to the inefficiency of Nuneaton & Bedworth Council and perhaps the buyers solicitor. We completed the sale on the 5 June and I could not fault James, Steven or Pointon's at all. They are a very friendly and professional team that I will certainly recommend to friends in the Coventry & Warwickshire area who are looking to sell or let a property. Thanks team.

Tl:dr - They're incredibly unprofessional, rude and they lie to you. This is a terrible estate agent. When it comes to Pointons they lie to you, and then when you query why certain services are potentially about to be cut off due to a lack of communication from either their part or any of their partner's part, they immediately try blaming you and then patronise the tenants In addition, when tenants bring up issues, they treat us as if we're employees. It must be an incredibly toxic environment to work for Craig especially acts like as if he's got a little bit of power and bullies people with it. At the time I was quite a bit younger, and on placement via University. Estate agents do often see students as easy targets. I think it's incredibly dodgy that Pointons didn't like me emailing them too, after my complaints about lack of communication, asking me to phone them when they knew full well that there would be no trail of said call. I wouldn't recommend any tenant here. You can also see from their reviews that Pointons Atherstone have reviewed them too, giving them five starts which just shows again how shady they are as a business. I've taken a screenshot of this should they delete it.

Excellent Service

One of my Coventry flats has been consistently managed by Pointon's since they took over my previous Letting Agents portfolio in 2021. I was slightly concerned as I had a great relationship after being with the former company for several years. I needn't have worried, Pointon's took over the management seamlessly, and I have experienced good communication (a rarity in any industry in 2026), maintenance issues acted upon and dealt with immediately as they arose, and nerve calming professionalism. I've been concerned about the recent legislation updates that have been implemented in May 2026, and Daniel has swiftly and thoroughly put my mind at rest. After making the rookie mistake of trying to put properties with some of the bigger National Chains and being bitterly disappointed with the service that was provided, I cannot recommend Pointon's enough to any Landlords or Tenants in the Coventry/Warwickshire area. :)

Very disappointing experience. After leaving the property in good condition and taking care of it, I was presented with a highly inflated and questionable list of charges. Many of these costs seem excessive, unnecessary, or simply unjustified. It feels like an attempt to maximise deductions from the deposit rather than fairly assess actual damage. Some items listed fall under normal wear and tear, yet were still included in the charges. I would strongly advise anyone renting through this agency to thoroughly document everything and be extremely cautious when it comes to deposit returns. Based on my experience, this process felt unfair and heavily one-sided.

Exceptional Professionalism from Jordan! I cannot recommend Jordan at Pointons highly enough! From the very beginning of our rental journey, he has been an absolute pleasure to work with. The Viewing Experience: From day one, Jordan made us feel incredibly welcome. He was knowledgeable and answered every single question we had without hesitation. Family Friendly: He was remarkably calm and patient while our toddler ran around the house acting like they already owned the place, a true professional who understands family life! Speed & Efficiency: The entire tenancy process was impressively smooth. All of our checks were completed within 48 hours, which took a huge weight off our shoulders. Problem Solving: We collected our keys yesterday and encountered a few minor teething issues. These were no reflection on Jordan’s work, but rather the contractors; however, Jordan has already promptly arranged for everything to be sorted. Jordan is a massive asset to the Pointons team. Do NOT rent with Pointons

Do NOT rent with Pointons if you want to be ignored for months on end about issues that need fixing. I had a flat inspection in October, and told Ethan Pointon a list of things that have broken or aren’t working as they should, for the price I pay of 875£ a month. I have called them probably 20 times between October till now, along with multiple emails of why things haven’t been fixed yet. I was then told that they had nothing on the system about the issues, even though I had told them twice and emailed the issues over. No answers. A massive waste of time, and no duty of care for their residents. Don’t waste your time renting with them, as all they want is the money and don’t care about the living conditions.

Avoid at all costs - they totally misled us regarding a property purchase. They told us the boiler was old but worked OK. The boiler was condemned and we had to fork out for a new one! The oven also blew and damp issues found throughout. Once the sale went through they didn't want to know! The staff were misleading in the sale and it has cost thousands!

Trustworthy in a difficult situation

I have been involved with trying to purchase a property which was in a very complex structure of probate and trusts Luca at Pointons has shown such tenacity in working through all the minefield of people involved keeping me n the picture despite the fact I was out of the country whilst he was dealing with it. He also succeeded in finding me a suitable buyer for my house showing them around in my absence and communicating updates of the situation to me via email and phone.
